I've been with them for around 5 years on 2 separate auto loans. Got hit with a serious medical issue that kept me out of work for 2 months which left me scrambling to pay the bills for my family as the sole provider of my household. I requested that one month payment be rolled into the end of my car loan but was told by Valerie, the Vice President of collections that I need to have that specific loan for 12 months to qualify for to have a payment rolled into the end of my loan and that my overall history as a customer means nothing, Things happen to people so have a heart. I've never missed a payment don't worry you'll get your money and with all of your added interest. Thanks for treating me and my family like we mean nothing. This used to be a great bank. Been with them for well over 10 years. Used to be great customer service and everything was handled in house. Now they outsource all of their work and every time someone reaches out they either have no idea what they're talking about and/or they are rude. She not only took my payment like most of the employees there, but she brought up issues that I didn't event know were going on with my account. This review is not intended for the staff. Their staff has always been very professional and helpful the times I've came in. My review is in regards to my account with them. I've had a few debit cards in the past 4 years I've been a member and I've always had the same issue. Not sure if I've had a faulty debit card each time or it's just the way the credit union operates. These are some of my concerns: My cards never work at any gas pumps. I always have to pay inside. I'm often off work late and most of the gas stations near me are already closed (inside) so I have to drive further away until I can find one that's open to pay inside. No mobile wallet or tap pay is available. No option for cash back. All the times I've requested cash back at a store (with funds available of course), my entire transaction gets declined. Your customer service number is not on the back of your card. The number listed on the card is to the office, which closes at 5pm. If I want to report problems with the card, I have to look up the number online. Whenever I try to view my balance on the app, I have to go through several confirmation steps first. I add my login ID, password and on top of that I still have to select whether I want to get a temporary code via call or email so I can proceed on the app. Lastly, my debit card was randomly blocked and I was never notified about it. No email or text whatsoever. I only found out after my card was declined at the store. read more

It's 5 o'clock. Nothing. Didn't hear anything. number 2 fora year i had to fight With them over flood insurance I had 2 insurance companies call them and told them the most they could charge was 250. They always wanted us to cover the full extent of the house. I had to finally fax them the paper from Feema and the government that said you can't go over 250.00 Shouldn't you already have known that? 3rd every year I have to correct the paperwork that they send me for hazard insurance flood insurance and Property taxes shouldn't they know how to do their paperwork by now? It is a big hassle and I will get out of this as soon as I can. I can never recommend them to another person unfortunately.. read more

I have been with Eagle Community Credit Union for 25 years. So far it's been ok, however their limit to make transfer funds from checking to savings etc...is 6 times per month how am I supposed to keep track of that as far as I know there's no alerts letting you know so that I can be aware to keep track. This morning I got robbed $ 32.00, $32.00, $32.00 within 1 hr as courtesy transfer fund fees, because I already reached my 6 transfers, this is ridiculous. I really hope they can reverse these fees. At 4:56pm today, I made a withdrawal using my debit card. My mind was so caught up thinking of where I needed to go next, that I was shocked to see my debit card missing when I looked in my wallet at 5:04pm. Having stepped away for less than 10m, I hoped that my card would still be in the machine. I immediately blocked my debit card, when I saw one person leave the ATM and someone using the machine. I stepped forward, but my card was no where to be seen. I noticed two ladies on the other side of the door and figured them to be on their way out, but they could at least tell me if my card was brought in. When I made my inquiry, the employee (who was locking up) immediately went on the defensive and stated that "We're closed." I didn't understand why she felt the need to say that so rudely, especially when I was not asking for operational services but asked a simple question. Then, her follow-up was if I left my card in the machine (More of a statement that it was stupid of me to have forgotten about it in the first place)? I was so taken back, I stumbled to reply yes, which I didn't know for sure I had. I didn't get a chance to explain or elaborate, because she again went on the defensive and asked, if someone called me to the location? She said that the bank would call all of their customers if they had a card, and repeated that they were closed. Again, I know they were closed. I can't even remember if I said anything other than "thank you" because I was so stunned to receive such attitude from what I thought would be a proficient worker. So while the questions still remains if my card is lost, I am more upset and beyond furious that I experienced this type of customer service from Eagle Community Credit Union. This employee was in such a rush to leave, she forgot basic manners and apparently the courtesy to treat the situation with more care. She provided no compassion, nor made any recommendations. All I got from her, and how I'm feeling now with the lingering fear of almost being robbed whatever was in my account is: Sucks to suck. I am not going back, better luck to any who choose to do otherwise. read more
