I don't normally take time to write a negative review but I'm making an exception to warn anyone considering a loan with this office. My Buyer Clients are well qualified professionals. I am their Buyer Broker. When they told me they wanted to use Wells Fargo instead of one of my preferred lenders, I shuddered. To better serve my clients, I have assembled a team of top performing professionals who have proven to me their ability to provide exceptional service to my clients and almost always exceed their expectations...Wells Fargo is not on my list. The process started well. The Home Mortgage Consultant, John, was communicative, at first, updating me on the process. I thought, "Well, maybe I've mis-judged Wells. This guy seems on top of things." And then... Me: "Umm, we're supposed to be closing next week, How's it looking." John: "Processing Dept has moved to Fla. Having a little difficulty getting an update. Extension #1 Me: "Hey John, my Clients are leaving the country the day after we are supposed to close...how's it looking?" John: "Uh yea, the the underwriter said that the debt to income is outside normal parameters. Had to kick it up to the next level. Trying to get upper managment involved. I'm pushing every button I can but it doesn't look like we will close on time. Extension #2 Me: "Hey John, my Client's have given me Power of Attorney to sign for them, Will we be able to close by the extended deadline? John: "No Ron , I'm sorry . I am having a conversation with the under writer later today to see what the issue / hold-up is .. I'll update yo as soon as I can . Thanks" Extension #3 Me: "Hey John, Haven't heard anything from you. The Seller says he will not extend the contract again unless he has a confirmed closing date. When will we close?" John: [after several days of emails and calls to his office. I finally called his cell] "Dude, I left that place. He's my former boss' number. Good Luck." Extension #4 So...here I am. 30 days past our original closing date and no closer to closing this deal with Wells Fargo after another 7 straight days of calling Michael (the Boss) and getting absolutely no response. Oh...and his voice mailbox has been full for the last 3 days. Sending Extension #5 and hoping I can keep the deal together long enough for my Clients to return and apply with one of my Preferred Lender. I took the last 20 minutes out of my day to warn anyone who may be, even remotely, considering Wells Fargo as their lender. DON"T read more

After Bank of America skrewed me over with monthly fees, I quickly decided to end my 6+ years of loyalty to the next bank I've seen popping up everywhere: Wells Fargo. So glad I did. Wells Fargo is by far the worse mortgage company I have ever dealt with. We applied for a mortgage on May 25 and could never get it closed. By September 10 we were so sick of dealing with them, we finally went with another lender. The new lender got done in seven (yes, 7) days what WF could not do in almost 4 months. WF asked for the same documents repeatedly. They asked for documents on Friday at 4:50 and our loan was scheduled to close that following Monday. WF sent us a commitment letter dated August 20 that had an expiration date of August 15. Our first loan processor was so unresponsive we were assigned to another after one month. From the beginning, we made sure our new processor knew the schedule of selling our home and the purchase of the new home. We already had a closing date set, which was not met. In the end, we incurred expenses totaling almost $3,000 due to WF's inability to honor own mortgage request. We asked for reimbursement for these expenses and WF refused. This story goes on and on and on. I had been a customer of WF for almost 40 years, my husband, as well. We have considerable assets, stellar credit scores, no late payments ever, no bounced checks and this is how we were treated. I am in the process of closing all accounts with WF and will never do business with them again. I wish I could give them less than one star. It has been my greatest displeasure to work with this company. As a real estate agent I have my own list of recommended lenders that I refer my clients to, however when I have a client that is working with another agency, I will do my best to work with them. This company has been nothing but grief, not only for myself, but for my clients as well. I feel that they and I have gone out of our way to make this deal happen, and because of the inexperience on Wells Fargos part, I very well may lose this buy. Even though it has been a struggle with the seller, I can honestly say that I have received more assistant on their part, than Wells Fargo. I think one of the most saddening things was that a certain loan officer, with a known history of being difficult to work with, was put in charge of my clients loan. It has been a mess. Between dealing with her personally, even after the loan was denied after 2 months of processing, but the actual manager of the company just shrugged it off, as if the clients didn't matter. Their excuse was, "Well we manage over 50 loans almost every single day." Which is understandable, however that doesn't except the fact that this loan was ready. The Purchase & Sale had been completed, the home warranty has been paid, everything down to getting to the closing table was taken care of, except for any professionalism from this specific wells fargo. I will never ever in my life recommended this company to anyone! Friends, family, clients; and I take this as a learning experience, of who not to work with so that not only can I protect myself, but I can protect the time of my own clients, because they are most important to me; which clearly isn't the case of this Wells Fargo. 100% unsatisfactory service. read more

Went through a refinance through this office. Received a bad appraisal and asked for a review. Wells gave my concerns back to the appraiser who did the bad appraisal. Not a fair review process at all. I terminated the application, but Wells is reporting it as a denied application. I've requested they correct the record. They won't, so my credit file now contains a complete lie. Wells is a real bad actor. Even the corporate office is supporting this false info in my file. They are completely lying in order to protect their performance rating. I'm disgusted with Wells Fargo. read more

Do not use this office. I am a real estate Broker with 13 years experience. A large majority of my experience comes from working with banks, including Wells Fargo regarding selling their foreclosure inventory. I have worked with a dozen or more Wells Fargo loan officers in several of their offices, however, this office is the worst I have seen. The loan officer was fired a couple of weeks into the loan process and no one would fill in. At minimum, I expected the office manager to take some initiative to ensure the loan closed on time. I was sadly mistaken. The manager sends all of his calls straight to voicemail. Then further shows how important his customers are by waiting until 7 - 8pm to leave a message that only partially addresses your voicemail. The processor was never told the loan officer was no longer with the company. I had to send 2 or more emails to her each time I wanted an update. Finally, missed our 2 initial closing dates, then the processor calls the borrower to tell her the closing is scheduled for 10am the following day. I get the processor on the phone and find out that we do not have a clear to close and she only told the buyer the closing time (10am) because the Listing Agent wanted an early closing. OMG, DO NOT get a mortgage through these wackos! I bought my first home in 2008 and I went through them and I HATED their rates and the stinky service. I had a 808 credit score and the rates were ridiculously high...WTF and the consultant was a crazy fool. She was french and I couldn't understand a word of what she was saying and when I told her, she got upset. My agent told me to shop around for a better rate and thank God I did. I got a great rate 4.5% and great service with someone who spoke ENGLISH. ICK! ICK! Ick! read more
