This wasn't my first choice. But because we're traveling with bikes and not a car. I was suggested this place by another campground. What an awesome little spot. Nothing fancy just safe. Nice little spot. We were in number 17 and it was a kind of tight for us because we are on a 24 footer but a full mobile home . it's Sunday and nobody works in the office, but there is a number you can call. . I left a message. The young lady came up and moved us to a bigger spot we are so appreciative We walked literally to town. It's not even 100 steps. everybody that works here or was on the grounds you could tell permanently are super friendly and super helpful. We had a nice time and we saw so much deer. I'm gonna give a tip to anybody coming to tombstone for the first time. If you have a bike or just wanna walk, walk down by the meadow, we saw 17 deer.. last night at our campsite. There was three walking together. This might not be a big deal for some, but coming from the city it's everything. Thank you so much for your hospitality. The host of the park had all the cheer of a graveyard. I was never welcomed, or checked on once set up. I was given a two page list of what not to day that had every sentence ending in exclamation points. The RV community is one of congeniality, friendliness and good times. I did not get, or see, any of that at this park. Will not EVER go back, and only recommend it if you want to waste your money. read more

We stayed at Wells Fargo RV park twice. In 2019, we lived at the park from June to September. This last occasion, we stayed in the park from November 2021 to January 2022. The rent is reasonable. When you rent by the month, your rent includes the space, water & sewer, and trash. They have 3 small dumpsters in the center of park, which are picked up 3 times a week. The park is neat and garbage free. You pay for electricity directly to the electric company. Electricity is included with daily and weekly rates. You also have access to free internet, but the strength varies by your location in the park. The laundry facilities are clean but the prices are average. The office sells ice. They have restrooms and showers, but I didn't use them. The spaces are small, though some are better than others. The ones that border 2nd Avenue are pull thrus reserved for daily & big rig travelers. The 1st time I was in space 50. This is a very small space in the center of the park. You will feel as if you're in your neighbors' space at times. This last time, I was in the newest spot, #71. Again it's small and right across the street from OK Corral, so it's loud. Our dog didn't like the "gunfire" from the reenactments 5 times a day. We moved to space #18. This is a much larger spot on the corner of 2nd and Allen. This spot has a tree, enough room to put your awning out, a small yard and neighbors only on one side. I really liked this spot as the stagecoaches from town ambled by each morning. The park is located in town (Tombstone). It is extremely convenient to walk to just about everything in town from here. This more than makes up for the smaller sized lots. The park has mostly full-time residents. You can get your mail at the park, you just need to pick it up in the office. The park is pet friendly and many residents have dogs. For the most part, the neighbors are friendly and helpful. Russ is the manager. He is very friendly, helpful and professional. He answers questions and gives excellent recommendations for local establishments. When he's off 2 days a week, resident Bobby takes his place. She is older and can be a little gruff. But she's wonderful once she gets to know you. The maintenance man is rude and condescending. He lost his temper with us because of a situation. We did as the electric company asked us to do and he was upset. This was not the only negative interaction we had with him. This is why we left. His wife is nice and friendly. I'd recommend staying there for the convenience of being in town. If you are looking to be full time, either try another area park or steer clear of the maintenance man. read more

So, how do I rate this place? The location is the best. It is just steps away from all the action in Tombstone. However, some of that action is very noisy and it all depends on what RV site you have. We were against the wall that backs to the main traffic street in town. This particular weekend several motorcycle clubs were in town. Across from our site was the OK Corral where gunfights went on all day long. Plus our site was extremely tight getting into. However, friends were on the other side of the park with very little noise. Folks are nice here and you just can't beat where this park is at. Even though the noise really got to us, I still have to give this place 4 stars. Next time we'd request a site on 2nd or on Allen but definitely not one that backs Fremont. We'd definitely stay here again. It just can't be beat! read more

I read the 1 star reviews and scratch my head . What do people expect from this RV park. It's right in the middle of Tombstone!! The convience. We had a total of 50 feet with truck and trailer! They fit us in. Was it right next to other RVer's , yes . But could I get any better parking for my 50 footer in Tombstone, NO!! that's why I don't understand the 1 star reviews. NO ONE HAS PARKING IN TOMBSTONE FOR RV. I'm so HAPPY THIS PLACE DID! my family and I had a blast in tombstone thanks to WELLS FARGO RV!! P.S the staff was very nice to us. They were just older and needed to warm up first lol.. but once you start talking to them they were beyond friendly and helpful! Drove from Colorado Springs and heading back to Vegas . Took 9 hours. We were exhausted. Found this RV park in Tombstone. They were super friendly and helpful. I told them we were amateurs to RV. They were very willing to help. Willy the Park manager helped us park and he was very patient with my million questions. Thanks so much Willy RV park: super clean, full hook ups and best part it's literally right center of tombstone. We just walked to all the attractions. Which made it more fun because we got drunk and walked back. There is a small gas station next door too if you need to fill or buy snacks. Location Location Location! Lol but seriously this rv park is literally next to everything you want to see in Tombstone. We took our dog and walked to pick up breakfast and catch a gun fight. The owner couldn't be sweeter. I was going g to arrive really late at night and she let me pay the next morning. You don't meet too many people like that anymore. The owner was so friendly ! We were tired from our trip and very hot but he brightened our day. Did magic tricks for the the kids and I as we were checking in. Then walked over to meet us at our site where he showed us the rare "tombstone double rock" ask him about it...He offers a good selection of dvds to rent for free ( please return them if you borrow so he can continue to offer them as it was great to have this available. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. The sites are not super large but not the smallest I've ever stayed in ( we comfortably fit our 36 foot mobile home , motorcycle, trailer we were towing and my Durango and had plenty of room for our slide outs even with neighbors. VERY REASONABLY PRICED full hookup sites available. Literally steps always from the OK corral and everything you want to see in a tombstone. Will stay here again and again! read more

The guy that took our money came out screaming and Cursing at me and my husband because we're not park g they way he wanted. May, 2011 - SUPER convenient walking distance to dinner, tours and saloons. We stayed in a 25' TT, but there are pull-thru spaces for large RV's too on the west side. Remembering that old towns do not have LARGE lots, it is expected that the RV spaces will be tight. The park offers clean restrooms and nice managers. We feel it's the best RV park in Tombstone proper. Our space # 42 was right across the street from the OK Corral venue, and just a 5 minute walk from the OK Cafe where we enjoyed breakfast both days of our stay. read more

This campground has sites on top of each other. Very small spots, no room to even set out a chair and relax. I complained and they told me to leave. I was literally 3 foot from my neighbors camper. If you don't mind camping with a stranger that can look into you camper go ahead but I will put the campground on my do not stay list. read more

This is a great RV park for what it is: Clean and the closest you will get to the Tombstone Historic District (Allen St.). The owners are always friendly and helpful. The bathrooms/showers are clean. They have laundry facilities. It is a great place to stay if you are looking for a weekend in Tombstone. You are literally across the street from the OK Corral and just a block around the corner from Historic Allen St. What it isn't is a luxury RV resort: they don't have pools, mini-golf, other amenities, large lawn areas, fire pits, picnic tables etc. Don't go expecting that and you'll be fine. Remember: You're hear to see the town, not hang out in the RV Park. Yes, some of the spots are a little tight, and there's just enough room to park your truck between your trailer and the next one. Yes, the spots that back against Freemont St. can have the occasional big-rig or loud traffic. Yes, the spots near 2nd St. (across from the OK Corral) can get late night foot traffic on the sidewalk after the saloons close, and during the day you'll hear the music and gunshots from the OK Corral show (which is cool, in my opinion). Honestly, for the money, location, and cleanliness, it is a great spot to stay if you want to see the town. read more

It's an OK place for one night. They pack in the RV's like sardines. If you look at a couple of the submitted pics, you can see how close the RV's are packed in. There would be no room to walk, if adjacent RV's had slide outs on the same side. No room for awnings, porch set ups or grills. Our "hook-up" for sewer was a hole in the ground that was missing the top. It was recommended by one of the employees to "just stick your drain hose in the hole and set a rock on it". Yes, the employees are nice. Yes, it's convenient to Main Street. There's a couple pics that look as though there is lots of room. There might be more room in the summer, when people don't go to southern AZ, but not in the winter. It's good for a traveling night's stay to dump your tank and sleep. read more

This park has no whistles and bells, but if you want a park right in town, this is your spot. Literally across the street from the OK Corral. All of downtown Tombstone is within 10 min walk. We were assigned a spot that had a broken water pipe and they fixed it right when it was called to their attention. Would have given 5 stars, but this is really just kind of a big parking lot. This RV Park is extremely close to downtown Tombstone and all the activities, only 300 feet from the OK Corral, look out our back window and see Wyatt Earps house. The sites are very close together but given that you are within walking distance of downtown it's a trade off. The manager & his wife are very friendly & helpful in getting us to our site. read more

Really close to all the restaurants, tours, shops and saloons. We stayed in a 14' TT in pull-thru spot the weekend before 4th of July and had plenty of room. The OK Corral is right across the street. The manager who checked us in was really friendly and let us know about places that gave discounts for staying at Wells Fargo. He was also helpful with a map and guided us to our RV spot. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very gracious. The park has clean showers and restrooms although my tall husband felt the shower head was a little too low. We were only there for one night but I would stay there again next time I visit. Check out time is noon which I feel is pretty generous for an RV park. Water pressure was excellent! They sell bagged ice and have a vending machine with sport and soft drinks just outside the office door. read more

If your coming to Tombstone..,,,,. This is not where you want to make your first stop. We had an RV space surrounded by derelict RV's that could never be moved.....:.most of them were fire hazards at best..... but the owners of this park must be desperate to allow these old clunkers .... and full time residents to be in their park......We were wedged in like sardines and were constantly having cars come and go just inches from hitting us daily. THE TRASH RECEPTACLES WERE USUALLY OVERFLOWING DUE TO NOT ENOUGH TRASH BINS......THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO ENJOY A DESTINATION RESORT.....We paid for a 30 day stay..... hoping to see all surrounding attractions.....We left after 2 weeks.......The stress of having to watch out several times a day for impending collisions into our RV proved to be a deal breaker......When asked if we could get a partial refund.....we were told "NO WAY".... but would give us credit for a future stay.......LOL.....THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! No excuse for these miss fires.....especially the inadequate trash barrels....THERE Are OTHER campgrounds Nearby THAT ARE MUCH BETTER......GO To ONE OF THEM AND ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO TOMBSTONE......ITS AN AWESOME PLACE......I'm sure even Wyatt Earp would of hated this campground. read more

Visited Tombstone last weekend, was looking for a cheap way to stay in town and decided to camp. Wells Fargo RV Park came up as an option for local camping (all were RV parks, BTW), checked in Saturday night about 10:45PM. Location: -OK corral is right across the street. You're not going to get any closer than this. -easy to find right off Highway 80 coming in -late check-in made possible by having round-the-clock maintenance man living right next door to office. Camping: -comfortable grassy area for tent camping -clean: no garbage or dog poo -lightly shaded by trees -picnic tables (use at your own risk, very splintery) Facility: -bathrooms have security code, are pretty clean -toilets don't flush well; often went in to a whole smelly row of unflushed icky. -showers available Price: -$20 per night for camping (website for Ride to Destiny said it was only $5 to camp) Staff: -Casey, the maintenance man, was very friendly. He introduced us to several locals who were able to give us "insider" stories into local history and lore. Even got coffee with me and my friend the next day! -office didn't open til 9AM, had to leave my payment with Casey (maintenance man). Would I do this again? Absolutely. I had a great time staying at Wells Fargo RV doing the whole civilized camping thing. It's a little pricey (in my opinion) and I could probably have stayed at a budget motel for a few extra dollars. read more

Russ is a constant joy. I've never seen him get fired up ever. Runs this place like the proverbial well oiled machine. Yes when it's busy your close together. No there usually isn't a lot of noise past 8. That's awesome when your in a smaller camper with no AC. Been here about 3 weeks while looking at realestate. Showers decent. The things that were a negative is that this is not the place to go if you want to put your awning up and chairs and BBQ out, you sit right on top of each other, the trailer that was sitting on one side of us was less then 2 feet away, we could not even open the outside storage on that side. We have been on the road for three weeks and stayed in a lot of different parks. Hands-down the cleanest restrooms of our trip. Laundry room is well-kept all the R V sites are clean. we had a full hook up pull through site and everything worked excellent. Walking distance to downtown tombstone and your receipt get you a lot of discounts around town for those of you shopping for a bargain. Understand that this town shuts down at 7:00 PM so if you need anything from the store get it before 6 PM your only option is the Circle K. read more

This is a really convenient park for visiting Tombstone. Given the close proximity of the RVs in the park, the close proximity to the excitement of the Wild West of the 1880s is really worth it. The place could use a little cleaning up, but hey, what do you need for a few days of fun in Tombstone? It's worth a stay. Frankly, it's the first place in a downtown venue where we didn't think we needed a gun! We are going back, for sure! read more

No complaints, but gave it 4 stars because the campground is basic no luxuries which was perfectly find for our stay, but others might want more. When we went it was not crowded and they put a trailer every other space if they were full it would get pretty tight. Excellent 5-star+ location. The service was also great. Russ, the manager (owner?) was extremely accommodating to our group. It is a well kept park right on the very edge of all the Allen Street action. The spaces are nice and level and the hookups are well laid out. We didn't try the cable TV, but others in our group did and found it to be working satisfactorily. We used our own WIFI so no experience here. Nights were nice and quiet. The only "negative" is that the spaces are really tight, but that is to be expected in an in-town park like this. That was far outweighed by the convenience to town. read more

If there was any way I could put less than one star i would! The previous reviews must be friends or family to the horrible people running this rv park! Our family stayed here a few years back. We had 3 motor homes and stayed one day because the staff was so horribly rude! Not helpful or friendly at all! And not to mention we had our small children with us, my brother in law and his family and my kids grandparents. Not only did the staff come out yelling and screaming for different odd reason but came out cursing at my mother in law in front of our small children. Our kids were crying and we all packed up and left. Now... Years later my brother in law their kids and 15 other friends and family are there again and sadly nothing has changed. The staff continues to be rude and can't control their yelling and screaming and just refuse to make camping there a positive and pleasant experience for families. Please hear my warning, don't stay at this place! Tombstone is a great place to visit, don't ruin your trip by staying here! read more

Great place to stay, it's in a great location to walk to everything in town. Prices are good and services offered at the location are perfect. The internet was spotty, but it was good when it worked. Lots are plenty long enough to accommodate a big rigs and trailers, but tight on the slides! Lots are narrow, if you have a double slide, you may not be able to open them both up. Would gladly stay again, owner is retired military and a very friendly guy. read more

Within walking distance of pretty much everything in the main part of Tombstone. My spot was right on third street. Wells Fargo RV Park is under new management. The Park is located in the Historic District of Tombstone, Az. The Park is very clean with spotless Restrooms with showers, and a very clean laundry facilities. The Park is in walking distance of all attractions, and has a wonderful OK Café on the premises. Pull thrus are plenty long, slightly narrow, back in slots are easy to get into and out. Friendly staff, pet friendly, and very knowledgeable of local history and sites to see. WIFI that really works and can be accessed at site along with cable T.V. So when coming to Tombstone book your stay where the Wells Fargo Stage Line brought people for many years. read more
