The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, is spotlessly clean, and you can tell immediately that the owner takes real pride in the food, the service, and the overall experience. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. This is not the kind of place where food tastes like it came out of a bag or a can. The owner clearly uses fresh, quality ingredients and puts care into what he serves. The biscuits and gravy were the best I have ever had, and I have been around enough to know good food when I taste it. The sausage gravy is homemade from scratch every morning using an old family recipe, and you can tell from the first bite. The prices were also very reasonable, especially for a tourist town like Tombstone. The people were friendly, kind, and welcoming. This place is clean, honest, fresh, and truly excellent. If you are in Tombstone, do yourself a favor and stop at Shotgun Cafe.

Halloween decor was already up. My food came out fast. The biscuits weren't as fluffy as described in the menu, but the gravy was nicely spiced with red chili. Another young server stopped to chat because she recognized me from the local high school. A few other patio diners were from town. The inside diner has a nice vibe, with light wooden walls

Nice little spot. We were in number 17 and it was a kind of tight for us because we are on a 24 footer but a full mobile home . it's Sunday and nobody works in the office, but there is a number you can call. . I left a message. The young lady came up and moved us to a bigger spot we are so appreciative We walked literally to town. It's not even 100 steps. everybody that works here or was on the grounds you could tell permanently are super friendly and super helpful. We had a nice time and we saw so much deer. I'm gonna give a tip to anybody coming to tombstone for the first time. If you have a bike or just wanna walk, walk down by the meadow, we saw 17 deer.. last night at our campsite. There was three walking together. This might not be a big deal for some, but coming from the city it's everything. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to come back. The Atilanos

No pool because the owner "doesn't feel" like opening it up. Same for the rec center. It's advertised that there is wi-fi at every site. I have a paid receipt and four phone calls with messages asking for the Wi-Fi information and no such luck. We had a guy show up to where we park for registration (no building or office to go to but there is a private residence with the pool that the owner apparently wants to keep private now) to show us where the site was but barley let us get out of the car before asking where are we from what are we doing here... sorry but I have to pee and get my kid out of the car seat and start the air conditioning.... How about a park map with a Wi-Fi password instead of all these questions!?! It seems like they might want to sell this place or don't really care for people anymore. Just give us your money here is your spot and no way for anyone to reach a human or have a map for the park or have any amenities besides the ones offered around the area but not in the park itself. They also charge for electricity. Now in the colder months they put a heater around the water faucet, which is then hooked up to your meter that you have to use for electricity and also pay for. I was told by some locals that the phone number is pointless. It takes them 3 to 4 days to get back to you. Which it true when it came to my calling them and asking questions. I sent them my meter picture in an email and later that day they called me and asked if I would be staying another day. Geez! Obviously well organized too!

Also, basically nothing is allowed in the cave. They had lockers that takes quarters but as far as I saw, no machine, you have to exchange with cash soooo prepare ahead. Leaving things in the car felt some what okay but not my favorite. I would appreciate if they had more security. They say they are not government funded so everything comes from public support. This was such a cool experience. You can tell the amount of work and detail they've put into the cave and preserving it. Truly different than other caves I've been to. There are two different parts of the cave you can choose from. If you can't do both my preference was the big room tour. I felt there was more to it, more things to see. Also, (sorry parents) perhaps the age limit made it more enjoyable too. Our tour guide Charles was INCREDIBLE. We did both tours back to back 0945 big room tour and 12 rotunda. Timing was perfect. Enough time to use the restroom and eat a snack. We brought our snacks, their cafe was closed. It would be an enjoyable experience to eat a packed lunch outside not sure if it's 100% allowed. Beginning of April was a GORGEOUS day. There's a McDonald about 12 min away. The big room tour is a man made/marked out, well paved easy walk/route. If you're worried about endurance or handiaccesible, it seems very accessible. The rotunda seemed a bit more incline but still well paved. You can wear white shoes and you wouldn't get dirty lol. I don't recommend open toes shoes/sandals because the Floor is very moist/wet. BOOK AHEAD. At least 2 weeks ahead to get the slots you want. If you're by yourself then a lot easier. It sells out quickly Restrooms were very clean and plentiful. As you wait for your tour guide before taking the tram to the cave there are another set of restrooms so that's appreciated. They want you to get there 30 min before. There really wasn't anything much to do ahead, it's just a simple check in. They have a mini museum that's nice to look around. You can get some good pictures outside prior or after the tour. Are both caves a must see, my bf says yes. I'm in between. If I would go back I would choose the big room tour again but that also has limited time opening due to the bats. As an AZ local or visiting this is a very enjoyable spot

Nice rec room area with a satellite TV setup, restrooms, pool table, 4 washers & dryers with a microwave oven. Stuff NOT SO GOOD: NO Showers on site!! Very weird short hours posted (8AM to 7:30PM) that the rec room is open. The unlocked door still needs a password to enter. When locked, a double deadbolt keeps people out...Why not open up much earlier for the guests' convenience? So I asked the management and they said they would tell the maintenance crew to open up at 6AM as we were staying for the week. This never happened and the room was opened at 8AM. I then told the manager about the statement she made the day before. Her answer was, Oh he opens it when he wants. That stinks!! Sorry we cannot stay at Thunderbird next time. Their rules and lame management are not customer oriented.
