He did a work up after putting me through a day of tests and scans. His opinion was nebulous and asked me to see any random other neurologist way across Atlanta, GA. He said '...let's get other heads involved'. I saw this as dismissive, with lack of knowledge. IAE, I called his neurology center but appropriate others were booked for 6 months to a year out. I relunctantly took a date... . When appointment time arrived that doctor cancelled a couple of weeks before time for personal reasons, with NO substitute in place. By that time my other symptoms manifested and I went back to the original neurologist, here. He was irritated that I would follow up with him... ! IMO, he only wanted to diagnose but did not understand this medical condition. He did NOT offer to treat, certainly would not prescribe effective, albeit controlled pain and anxiety calming medications. During that time he referred me to an in-house PCP doctor colleague. When I met with him this Internist summarily dismissed me after looking at my own medical synopsis sheet which I had prepared for his ease. He officiously talked down to me like I was a drug addict, my having been prescribed several controlled ethical pharmaceuticals for 30+ years by other respected independent Internists, now retired. These Rxs were highly effective in managing MECFS and attendant rebound insomnia symptoms as well as related neuropathies. However, this doctor and the above neurologist avoided these medications by policy, opining they were not any longer a 'fit!' He charged my insurance company handsomely over for this brief 10" rejection/dismissal visit. I had to go elsewhere. In summary, i experienced a major runaround from a practice whose billing looked like that of an international law firm - outrageous, IMO, for very little, if any benefit. This informed-from-experience senior patient sees this group as a great place If you want to deal with prima-donna MDs and government-like 'policy' medicine.

I visited this urgent care facility on 9/15/2014…read more I gave them my insurance card and thought everything was taken care of however I would quickly come to realize that the level of incompetency at this office surpasses anything I've ever experienced. See below for a timeline of events: Sept 2014 - Initial visit. Receptionist fails to photocopy my insurance and manually enters completely incorrect info including my name & social security number. This means the claim is rejected by my insurance. Nov 2014 - I call them for my test results as I had heard NOTHING from them. Aren't doctors supposed to call you? Feb 2015 - First bill sent by medical office. How does this bill take so long? At this point I had assumed everything was taken care of since my insurance should have covered anything. I called their billing office and the woman ended up billing the wrong insurance company. Claim denied. Again. Apr 2015 - Second bill as the claim had been denied because the employee billed the incorrect insurance agency. I call the billing company AGAIN clarifying everything and see that my actual insurance company was billed at the end of April. May 4, 2015 - I receive a notice that my account has been sent to collections. At this point, the medical office has already received payment even after all of their screw-ups. I fail to see why I should be further responsible for this entirely inept medical practice. Do not come here for any of your medical needs or you'll end up in a 7 month long billing battle - none of which will be your fault.

If you happen to miss a call to schedule a procedure, they ask you to call back. Expect to wait more than an hour with no answer. And I mean try calling any time and ask for scheduling... expect to be on hold with no answer. We did so for 30 minutes or more 4 times... After these experiences we went to the office to ask for help. The lady at the Alpharetta desk could not have been more annoyed. Ironically she was able to get Carolyn from scheduling within seconds (we tried several times with no progress and tons of hold time). "Well you do know she supports four doctors?" Not sure how we should know that nor why we were on hold for so so long before giving up. Of course I asked her why her office cannot email, text, or have a scheduling website. None of these are new technologies. Keep in mind I was being very polite but she was clearly not happy we were asking these questions in front of other patients. After all this we finally got my wife scheduled for an MRI and another procedure. Today my wife drives to the MRI address at the prescribed time the staff had hand written for her. It was closed. Turns out they scheduled her in a different location. And when she got there they tried to turn her away. Only the proof of the handwritten address to the closed office got them to relent. Unbelievably bad service. And getting an MRI and a follow on appointment is not rocket science. The doctor we saw was terrific. Everything else about our experience has been nothing but poor customer service.

I visited in the winter of 2022. I noticed that I didn't do a review in 2023 which I thought I…read moredid. If you want a human centric treatment experience; this is where you should go. Many people have contacted me via Cancer Websites to ask what they should do. In all cases I tell them to schedule a consultation and see if this is the right treatment for you. If you are closed minded and ONLY want standard assembly line care like they offer around the country, this isn't your place to be treated. They will teach you how important the mind is in reference to your health. They will give you treatments like Red Light therapy and PEMF. They will inject you with things like mistletoe and give you a lot of pills to take. If this bothers you that its not the standard "grab a IV bag of full dose chemo" maybe your mind isn't open to beating this disease. Just think if all of those other chemos didn't work like they didn't work for me; why wouldn't you try something different then the normal BIG PHARMA protocol? Its been over a year since I left the clinic. I am still cancer free. Is it because of the treatment? I have no idea; however, I know that if I would not have tried this my NORMAL Dr's would have just given me a pill to take and sent me on my way, as I am stage 4. At this center they don't treat you like a # and they tailor your treatment to your disease. They will answer all your questions. They will review your blood weekly. You will learn how the brain and the body are connected. You will meet a group of caring medical professionals that are there for you. And funny enough the other patients are marvelous and upbeat. I was probably the grouchiest patient they had :) They will suggest a plant based diet. I did that for the time I was there and failed at it after returning home. However I don't eat anything that comes from the sea or water now. That is because I now know about Methionine. I only drink water now. I occasionally will have a sangria; however, I don't eat processed food now. Keep in mind this is your life and you have to do what you can manage and not punish yourself for failing to do everything 100% perfect. Normal Doctors won't even discuss food or how your mind controls your health. My treatment was 3 months. I paid in full with a Credit Card as I have Kaiser Insurance which doesn't allow for out of network care. I did this over Thanksgiving 222 and Xmas and New Years. My schedule was only paused a day or 2 for Thanksgiving. It was 4 weeks there and 4 weeks off and then 4 weeks there. I didn't react well to the treatment I feel because my endocrine system was a disaster due to having 2 other FULL SPECTRUM chemo treatments. I had tons of nausea. I had pre-diabetic issues as chemo never allows me to lose weight it always makes me gain weight. I also don't lose my hair with chemo. I am an odd ball. Other FULL spectrum chemos damaged my joints to where I need joint replacements. I didn't that experience here. I was just full of nausea. It's not their fault I just tend to react differently to different things. The bottom line is if you are at all concerned that this is right for you, listen to Dr. Stegall's podcast on Spotify. Its called "Cancer Secrets Podcast." I binge listened to all of these in 1 week and I was sold on the fact this was the right place for me. In the end you need to decide what is right for you. For me this was the best decision I made for my long term health in regards to Cancer Treatment. PROTIP: Get with the center before you go to plan your housing and get a layout on what places are close by for food and other services. There is a good amount of shopping to the south of the center. Lots of places to eat. Tons of housing (we went with a 1 bdr apartment). Housing suggestions I should have taken from the Center to begin with and of course there is a whole foods close by.

I would highly recommend to avoid this place!!! False hopes and terrible communicationread more
