Tip: Order through the Wendy's app to earn points towards free food. I did and specified dining in. It was great! On Saturday, I was driving up highway 404 to Aurora. I saw a sign saying that there was a Wendy's if I took the Aurora Road exit. That's weird. I take it fairly often and I never remembered seeing a Wendy's. It's actually further west. Aurora Road becomes Wellington Street East when you head westbound. It's on the latter street. I had no problem finding this Wendy's. It's a combo store with Tim Hortons, so it's one-stop shopping for your burger and donut needs. This Wendy's has a drive-thru. I wanted to dine in. I backed into a spot across from the drive-thru. I then placed an order through my Wendy's app. My favourite burger at Wendy's is the bacon portobello mushroom melt. It's here for a limited time. I wish that it were permanently on the menu. It's such a yummy burger. I ordered the following: - Bacon portobello mushroom melt - Side chili - Medium fountain drink - Small cherry crumble vanilla frosty The estimated time for my order to be ready was five minutes. Cool! I walked into the eatery. Wendy's is on the left. I needed to use the washroom. It's in the middle, shared between the two businesses. The washroom was clean. I liked that the soap dispenser and dryer work when you put your hands under them. I used it again before heading out the door. I headed over to the dining area. I found a booth and sat down. I placed my jacket down. Once my order was ready, I headed over to the counter to pick it up. The nicest woman was at the counter. I said that I had an app order under my name. She said that it was almost ready. The burger was nearly done. She gave me a cup to fetch my fountain drink. I like that it has a fancy Coke Freestyle fountain machine. I got a Barq's zero sugar vanilla root beer. I later returned to fill it up. I put ice in my cup. This drink was delicious, especially cold with ice. I headed back to the counter and my food was ready. The woman also gave me a tray for my drink and frosty. I thanked her and headed to my booth. It was a good idea to put my jacket down on the seat. A man wanted to sit down and noticed my jacket. He found a different table. I loved my bacon portobello mushroom melt. The beef patty was yummy. The bacon was generous and was jutting out of my burger. The mushrooms were meaty and hearty. The melty cheese sauce brought everything together. The bun was soft. It was a nice change from having one with sesame seeds on top. So good! I chose chili as my side. It's my go-to side at Wendy's. It was hearty and yummy. It had a lot of beef, beans, tomatoes, onions, and more. Eating it was so enjoyable that I forgot to put crackers in it. Oops! When I saw that there was a cherry crumble frosty, I had to give it a try. You can choose to get it in chocolate or vanilla. I went for the latter. It tasted like a slice of cherry pie got mixed into a vanilla frosty. It was delightful. I got a small because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Maybe I'll go for a medium next time. Ordered Large Chily and small fries in the drive-through today. Got it home and found in my bag a small chili and large fries. Very little meat to speak of as I didn't order a vegetarian meal. The fries were ice cold. I don't know why I bother going to this location. A very unacceptable meal experience for a large sum. I cannot recommend. read more

I have never left a review in my life but I felt I had to after this. I come here all the time and have never had any issues. Until tonight when I ordered a large fries and opened the bag for there to be less than the amount of a small fries in the carton. Not sure if this is a reoccurring thing but not acceptable for paying customers, sorry. read more

Ok we ended up here again, as it was perfectly on our way out of town and we were hungry. Thank goodness it was not a school day! It was actually pretty dead for 12pm, there was no line up and we got our food and left without any crazy incidents. The food was fine and there staff was average. Two nights in a row of wasted time and gas for this little location. 1) Wrong hours even from Wendy's own website. Drove all the way there and it was closed at 11:05pm when I checked their site in advance which clearly stated it supposedly opens until 12am. 2) Another drive there at 9pm the next day only to find out their systems broke down and they only accept cash. Am I in Scarborough or something. Cash only?! Let alone the food, if people can't even get anything from this location, who cares about reviewing their food? read more

They are very slow, a good 5 minute wait per customer in the drive thru, at 830pm ... is not acceptable

This location is horrid for customer service and getting your order right. We ordered at the drive thru last week and they screwed up the order. Not having time to return we returned later in the day. Bill in hand and brought the concern to the manager. He told us we should have called or returned. He claimed we did not try to call and he could do nothing to compensate us for receiving the wrong order. Today we had a similar experience and called as previously directed. This time we got a different answer we should have brought it to their attention right away . We did . We called. It took 3 phone calls and 3 hours for them to say too bad. Customer service ...not . 0stars. Worst wendys ever. Manager is super rude, homophobic and yells a lot. Staff are super un educated in customer service. Don't ever order poutine at this Wendy's. They will always forget it if you have a big order. And then yell at you cause THEY forgot it. They dont sanitize ANYTHING. I watched Tim Hortons spray down and wipe several time while Wendy's staff stood around texting. My wife and i live close so we have given them several chances but its worse every time. Ha! Same as above... as far as quick and dirty fast food... Wendy's is my go to place. But like the comment above, I have never had so many incorrect orders as this location. I've even sent notes to Wendy's corporate about this location. I find the burgers WAAAAY better at Wendy's vs. McDonald's... but again, the base minimum is that they get the order correct. I have never encountered a place where they mess up as often as this location. Other Wendy's locations have their errors here and there, but here almost EVERY SINGLE visit is a mistake. The manager doesn't care either. Emails to management have not helped. It can be seemingly little things like no forks or butter for your bakes potato and salad to major things like everything on your burger when you asked for specific things. This location consistently gets orders wrong and the manager is extremely rude. When not realizing his mic was still on, he called me an IDIOT. He was shocked to realize I heard him. His order taker in the drive-thru heard him and apologized to me on his behalf, however, I will never again order from here. So tired of the horrible service time and time again. read more
