Being generous with 3 stars, as I imagine the franchisee is likely struggling financially. From reading other reviews, it doesn't seem the dining area is open often, if at all. The app listed the dining room as being open, which is why I went, but it wasn't! Picked up my order at the drive thru. The fellow at the window was efficient and pleasant and my customized order was accurate and complete. I mention the dark nuggets and fries, as they weren't overcooked, but quite dark. Quite possibly the worst Wendy's ever. Never good. A couple years ago I ordered a big order at closing, not having any idea at the time that it was closing because they were closing early that night. The girl at the drive through who wasn't even making food had really bright red dyed hair. When we got home and opened up the cheese fries package, there was a really bright red hair sitting right on the top, which obviously did not get in there unintentionally especially when she wasn't even making the food. I feel bad for the guy who took my order. It was his first day and it was very apparent. He didn't know the system at all and there was no one to help him. I came inside to pickup an online order. I wanted to wait in my car if possible, so I asked if the guy working the register if the website would update my order from say "We're making your food!"(which it was currently saying) to "Done," "Ready," or something like that so I would know when to come in and pick it up? No one knew how the website worked or even seemed to understand what I was asking, two people shrugged and walked away. I ended up telling them to bring it out to my car when it was ready. Buyer Ceware! Yesterday I again (almost) got the wrong order and (almost) was charged the wrong amount. You must check your receipt and your order WHILE you are at the window. Otherwise, you go home, find out it's wrong, and live with it or drive back. I was prepared for this so it didn't happen today. But it took many minutes for a manager to come over and take an item that I didn't order off the order. No manager wanted to come over. So I sat there waiting. As of lately this particular Wendy's has been taking a very long time to complete orders. I go there to get the salads a lot and even that takes a bit. Most of the time something major is missing once I'm home ( I need to start checking). One example would be when I ordered the pecan chicken salad they didn't give me any pecans and gave the wrong dressing. Things happen I realize but my order has been wrong at least 1/2 that time. Went through the drive thru. My order was wrong. Ordered a medium drink got a small. No onion on the burger they put onion on it. The person who took order messed it up. When I got to the window she and another coworker were to busy on her phone and not doing their job and fooling around. The staff were not paying attention to the customer due to being on the phone. Ever since Wendy's changed to the "Natural Cut Fries", suddenly this Wendy's location got better. Maybe new management as well? In my previous review, I indicated that the fries were awful. Now, they are on-par with other locations, and are actually quite enjoyable. We've started to go back there and have had no major issues with our orders. It was close to 30 minutes. Whatever maybe people had big orders. So we order our food, I drive a little and my wife says they forgot a burger. No problem it happens. We turn around and she runs in and grabs the burger. I take a bite and there is a hair in the burger. I mean like a full on 10 inch hair in my mouth from the burger. What the hell. Unfortunately we aren't given the choice of 0 stars. This is absolutely one of the worst fast food restaurants in area. They NEVER get your order right--my last visit I corrected them at the order console, corrected them again at the pay window, corrected them a 3rd time at the delivery window and the order was still wrong (I got them to fix the visible things at least). On the previous visit my wife and I waited 20 minutes for a burger and a chicken sandwich--the entire front of the restaurant (and the parking lot) was filled with people standing waiting for their order. Unfortunately Wendy's doesn't seem to check on its franchisees like Micky'Ds--the Ayer location has been abysmal for over a decade. I agree with Liz's review that something is up with the fries here. They do seem to always taste off. I only order the spicy chicken sandwhich and it always tastes correct so I don't know what the deal is. Placed an order for 6 items off the "Value menu" - Paid by card, told they're running a wait, and to drive up. 10 minutes later, the car in front of me gets their food. 5 minutes after that, they come out and tell me the computer was cleared, so they don't know what I ordered. Sloppy service, during lunch time it gets busy and they have no care in the world of who they are serving or what they are serving. They are quick to delete orders on there screens and quick to just drop your order on the counter. Burgers are made extremely sloppy.
