    Junior banana split
    Sophie T.

There's genuinely so much to do here. Grab an ice cream, eat seafood/chicken tenders/hotdogs, hit golf balls at the driving range, play mini golf, bumper boats, or bumper cars, hop on the zip line, check out the country store, hit balls at the batting cages, and more. We played mini golf and went to the driving range and it was so fun! Also, the ice creams are HUGE so I would order a kiddie (it's still massive). My aunt got the junior banana split and look at the size of that thing! Unreal. I got a vanilla peanut butter and it filled me up for the rest of the day. They don't have rainbow sprinkles but they do have chocolate!

Prices are unfortunately steep, but the food is good never had a problem is my entire life of going. Great to have fried seafood options and some regular grill food. Great menu

This was my first time visiting the kimball farms. The places was so fun here. They had a lot of fun activities for kids and adults. Loved their ice creams. The portion sizes were huge and the taste was amazing.

I have been visiting Kimball Farm since childhood and am currently 29 years old. I recently visited with my elderly mother, who is recovering from a serious surgery performed the day prior. The visit was intended to be a brief, low-stress outing. The food and ice cream experience was satisfactory, but our visit was significantly impacted by an interaction in the parking area that made both of us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. On a quiet Tuesday, I parked in a tight but open space near the front area adjacent to the ice cream stands. There were multiple open parking spaces visible at the time, and there was no visible signage regarding parking restrictions, time limits, or instructions in the immediate area, beyond general "park at your own risk" signage. As I parked, a staff member identified as Scott Gray, listed as Head of Safety, approached the vehicle wearing high-visibility orange safety attire and holding a traffic wand. He stepped directly behind of my vehicle while I was preparing to exit, blocking the driver-side path. I remained in the vehicle because I did not feel comfortable exiting under the circumstances. My mother exited instead and directly interacted with him while I observed from inside the car. I have autism and anxiety, and in the moment I was unable to safely or comfortably exit until he moved away from the front of the vehicle. He addressed my mother in a raised and abrupt tone, asking, "Are you just getting ice cream?" She responded that we were also getting food. He then repeatedly asked "Where?" in a manner that felt interrogative rather than informational. Throughout the interaction, he remained close to the vehicle and positioned himself at the rear of my car, where I had parked inward, effectively blocking a clear path of movement around the vehicle. My mother and I both experienced the interaction as uncomfortable and unsettling. He eventually stepped away, but continued observing us as we entered and later returned to the vehicle. While I understand staff may be managing parking and traffic flow, the positioning and manner of engagement escalated what should have been a routine clarification into an interaction that felt unnecessarily adversarial. It significantly affected what was intended to be a meaningful family visit. Given his position as Head of Safety, the interaction raised concerns about guest experience and how similar situations may be perceived by visitors in vulnerable circumstances. I have visited Kimball Farm for most of my life, but after this experience I am reluctant to return because I do not want to risk a similar interaction in the future. (Photos of the parking area showing available spaces and lack of signage are attached.)

Came here for a work event! Wowee! Feels like an amusement park. So many activities and treats. We were located at the Raspberry tent. Our event included all you can eat ice cream and sorbet. Pretty sweet! Loved all the flavors and toppings. The staff was nice. Parking was easy. Bathrooms were clean!

Always a blast! The ice cream is top notch. My personal fave is the mocha chip. The bumper boats are so fun. Just know you could get wetter than you expect. Only thing is the lines do get long so prepare yourself with some water since it does get pretty hot.

Always a solid summertime experience if you're looking for good food and small town, old school fun. Personally, really enjoy their fried seafood whenever I visit... but what really gets me is their ice cream selection and how it always hits the spot - whether it's on a hot summer day or even after a few sessions of mini golf or hitting the batting cages. Definitely would recommend visiting if you're aiming to bum around and kill time with friends, family, and everyone else in between.

I have been to Kimball Farm since I was little. It is a nice summer spot where activities, food, and ice cream are all in one spot. When I went this time, I did three activities, one of them being golf. I noticed this time that they added screens that are interactive which I found pretty cool. I have been liking coffee oreo ice cream so I ordered it here and like always it was amazing. It was better than the coffee oreo ice cream I had in Maine the week before.

Love this family fun farm! They're located a bit outside Boston, but it's completely worth the drive. If anything, you should come for their ice cream. They have great flavor combos, and their portions are very generous. I loved the activities they had, especially their batting cage and driving range. It was $28 for three activities, super reasonable! This is a great place for a birthday party, family outing or friend outing!

Kimball Farm in Westford is one of those places that just feels like summer. Whether you're there for the legendary ice cream (seriously--the portions alone are wild) or just looking to have a good time, it delivers every single visit. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--classic New England at its finest. I always end up torn between sticking with a favorite or trying something new, and either way, it never disappoints. But Kimball's is more than just dessert--it's a full day of fun. Mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages, driving range, animals, arcade vibes--it's got that perfect mix of nostalgia and light adventure. Whether you're a kid, a parent, or somewhere in between, it's impossible not to smile here. It's the kind of place where memories are made. A little escape from the everyday, filled with laughs, scoops, and sunshine. If you're anywhere near Westford, don't even think twice--go.

Cute spot to visit on the weekend with your family! They are fully staffed here, so finding someone for directions and help with parking was easy. We first grabbed food, which we had to wait in a line. We ended up ordering the regular lobster roll ($35.95) and shrimp plate ($23.45). Pretty pricey but the portions were generous and the food was tasty. We really wanted to play mini golf, but the line was over 90 minutes long. If we had known earlier, we would have put our name down as soon as we arrived. They have plenty to do here for kids - small animal zoo, ziplining, bumper boats and cars, an arcade, and more. It's cute for a date spot, but be prepared for lots of kids running around. I'd highly recommend this place if you have kiddos! The entire farm was very clean and another plus was that they're dog friendly. Our dog had an even better time than us! Of course, we had to get the ice cream too. They let you sample 2 flavors/pp. We got the mini size, which is the smallest size, and it was plenty to share. Overall, this would be a great choice for a family outing. Just beware of insane lines, especially during the summer.

I give five stars to the Pony Ride professionals. Evan and Leslie are genuinely warm and kind people. They love and take care of their animals. our daughter always seeks the "pony ride" section of Kimball's, and honestly, this is a big part of why we keep returning. Of course, the ice cream is great and bumper boats are always cool. However, the personnel at the pony rides and the attentiveness and care adds a very special and personal touch to the experience. makes our day, every time! all the stars for Leslie and Evan!

Had such a fun day at Kimball Farm. We purchased the "3 for $28" and chose the bumper cars, bumper boats, and mini golf. We wanted to do the pony rides and animal adventure but they were unavailable that day. The min-golf course (18 holes) is fantastic and love that they are handicap friendly with a 9 hole course. The 18 hole course has some stairs, walking over bridge, and walking in dark cave/stairs. Bumper boats were so much fun, wish the time allotted was longer. You don't really get wet, maybe a little splash but nothing crazy like getting drenched. They don't really go fast enough to ram into anything/anyone very hard. Some of the boats motors kept dying and you had to wait for staff to restart it, I feel like they should add more time when that happens since the person is just sitting there. The bumper cars are not like little cars with steering wheels you see at carnivals. It's more like a chair on a gigantic donut with two levers...one that turns in circles and one that moves you forward/backward. Those were so much fun and they don't really get enough speed to ram anything hard. Very kid friendly. Of course we had to stop for ice cream that was delicious with HUGE portions! - There are free water dispensers and cups throughout the park - ATM located in the store by the register - country store has a little bit of everything including food (sandwiches, soup, breakfast, bakery items, coffee, etc) and has tons of little tables sprinkled throughout the store Lots of parking but be careful crossing the street. Lots of handicap spaces up front.

Hello! Does anyone know when in the year they close bumper boats and mini golf?

Hello, they close on Columbus Day

Is the arcade open? The website says it is "opening soon" so just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

Yes, it was open as of June 25th.

Can I go on the ponies? I am 17 male and 5'9 and my girlfriend really wants me to? Like is there a age/weight limit? (On girlfriend's Yelp)

no sorry you are not at the right weight/age

    Do they serve chowder?

Yes! But don't pass up on the fried whole bellies here, they are simply the best.

    Ice cream flavor?

They have all the common favors and many specialty favors. There is always a lot of people getting ice cream there so the favors must be very good.

I had the pineapple braised pulled pork tacos. I could barely finish two, yet alone the 3 healthy sized tacos. And my girlfriend was treated to both the crab cake and the specialty salmon cakes. She proclaimed the salmon the winner of that cake battle. For desert, which we didn't finish either, was the berry cobbler. I compared it to an oversized toaster strudel, but homemade and much more flavorful. Overall, we love it here. This is our 2nd trip and we'll be sure to come again soon! And if it has premium beef and isn't yet another smashburger (I like them, but enough already), best scenario yet. Forge & Vine Cheeseburger: The burger here was fantastic. Most importantly, the beef brought flavor-- very enjoyable. Crusting was solid, though there could have been a bit more-- and perhaps a bit more seasoning. But no issues with the flavor, and the interior was a perfect medium rare with juices aplenty. The challah-like bun-- with appropriate size, volume, and density-- also brought some flavor: a pleasant slight sweetness. Cheese got the right melt, tomatoes were very fresh, and the other ingredients all worked in harmony. Tallow Fries: Included with the cheeseburger, these had both crispness and give, with a moist, fatty lubricant to aid the texture and flavor. Salting was on point. And plenty of them. All this for $24 might seem steep, but in today's economy, where it'll run you nearly $20 for a burger and fries at Five Guys, I'm all for paying a few extra bucks for the extra quality. And the space itself is pretty impressive too, from the high ceilings to the wood to the open kitchen to the view of farmland out back. Service was good too: efficient and friendly.
