Normally I don't eat fast food anymore but sometimes you got cave. I ended up trying my luck with one of their avocado salads. Which was in stock !! These go pretty quickly so I was impressed because it was dinner time. I drove up to pay the person was super nice and made sure to check my bag before giving it to me. The restaurant outside looked pretty clean and well kept. The workers were organized and had great attitudes. The salad was decent, I think Wendy's could step them up, and add more toppings. The food was fine, but the service is deplorable. The menu wasn't lit when I pulled up, and I wasn't sure they were open at 6:30pm then waited about 1-minute to hear someone say "CAN I HELP YOU?!". Whatever, maybe they're busy, although I saw when I pulled up and there was 2 customers in the dining room and only 1 car ahead of me...stuff happens. So I pull up and pay, while two people are taking turns shoving drinks at me as fast as they can. So now I'm hustling to keep up, guess I should've been quicker handing my kids their frosty's. Then wait about another minute for the food bag to come out. Again, shoves the food out and just says "here your go". Luckily I checked the bag because and noticed it was missing my sandwich, the most expensive one. So I look back inside and the guy throws his hands up at me, opens the window and says "what?!". Just tell him I'm missing the sandwich and not the frosty spoons or napkins, because I just feel like and inconvenience at this point. I'm one of those Birkenstock-wearing Ann Arborites. You've been warned. I avoid chains, fast food joints, etc. at all costs, but the nature of my job sometimes forces me to stop in a place like this. And when I do, I always hope they'll at least try. But they don't. Especially not here. Wow. This is a two star for thier customer service. I am working for a delivery service and had to pick up from this store four times. Each time I pulled through the drive thru, I was greeted with a harsh attitude then after I stated what I was there for, I received nothing more than a "Pull around!!" Bark from the guy. We work nearby and have experienced the ups and downs that this mediocre fast food chain has to offer. Wendy's is only a four star chain to start, but this location is on par with most. They're quick enough to clear the line, friendly service, accurate orders. It's a little weird to have to ask for refills (the soda machine is turned around to face the kitchen rather than the dining room) but they're pretty quick about getting it handled. The homeless guy in the corner doesn't smell, so that's good. read more

Don't stop if you're in a hurry. I work in the area and stop every so often. This is the slowest place ever!!! Have only ever gone through the drive thru, maybe inside is better? I'm not even sure why they're so slow, there always seem to be workers just standing around--usually one person taking orders/handling cash, one person handing change & order to customer, one who brings food from where its prepped/made and at least 2 just standing off to the side chatting. Aside from a double cheeseburger from McDonald's once or twice a year, I steer completely clear of all fast food chains. Because I'm overly healthy, or think they are beneath my class? Absolutely not!!! Rather because they are disgusting, and have no shame, nor concern, about being openly gross!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight was no differnt at this fine Wendy's franchise. After a super long, and exhausting day at work, a 16 hour shift to be exact, I realized that I was starving while driving home. Being that it was 12:30am, and my choices were limited, I found myself in the drive thru line at the Wendy's just a mile from my house. I placed my order and pulled up to the second window as instructed, and was stunned at what I witnessed. The young man working the drive thru window stumbled for a moment in an attempt to figure out how to fill my drink order. After figuring it out, he grabbed a large cup, filled it with ice, and placed it on the counter. I was puzzled, so I continued to observe. He then picked up another cup, removed the lid, brought it up to his nose; I'm assuming that he smelled it to confirm that it was a match to what I ordered, because he carefully poured the content of the cup that he had his nose hovering over into the first cup that he filled with ice. And then he put the used lid from the second cup on the first cup, and attempted to give it to me. Seriously?!!!!!?? A recycled drink??!!!?? I didn't recall seeing a discounted section on the menu I just ordered from. When I inquired what he just did, I was told that they filled the cup earlier in an effort to clean the machine, so it was fine, and that's why he used it to fill my drink order. I refused to accept the recycled drink, and rather than apologizing and perhaps offering me something else, he just walked away. A minute later, a young lady whom was in the background fumbling with the trash (literally), approached the window, still wearing the gloves that she had on while pulling the trash bags out of the cans, and asked me what I needed. Great customer service!! I explained what I witnessed, and all I got in return was a blank gaze .... hello!?!?!? I asked her if what the young man had done was sanitary and per health code, and her reply was, "Yeah, I know health codes, I went to classes". If I could have made myself vomit on her right then and there, I swear I would have! I would have loved to see how sanitary she would of thought that was. To me there was no difference!!! I asked if that location was a corporate store or a franchise, and she advised that it was a franchise. However, when I asked for the owners name and phone number, she replied that she was not allowed to disclose that info. Well, if I really wanted to know who owned that Wendy's, I have no doubt whatsoever that about 2 minutes of invested research online, and I would have the info that she was not allowed to disclose. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at it, I do not have enough care in this crazy world to invest even two minutes in researching this moldy, roach infested establishments ownership. HOWEVER, what businesses fail to realize is that the best form of advertisement is word of mouth. With that said, I will have this experience to tell over and over again, and share with everyone that I come in contact with for the rest of my life. And lastly, as a co-owner of a business, I have always went well above what was expected, because in the back of my mind, I always remembered that my success was because of my customers. In addition to this post, the only other step that I will take is to file a compaint with the Wayne County Health Department ..... and of course sharing my story with all of my neighbors!!! read more

I was at this location on January 18th with my family. There were a few things I noticed and appreciated right off the bat. I'm not sure whether she is a manager or crew member, but Autumn provided excellent customer service on multiple occasions. I don't usually do these reviews but it was very nice to see the positive attitude, work ethics and aspirations this particular employee displayed. An elderly man arrived to the store shortly after my family and I. It was very easy to notice he was having trouble walking. I proceeded to observe from where I was sitting the professional and respectful attitude this employee maintained as she had the gentleman have a seat and she provided to his needs as she brought his order out to his table for him. This is just one good example of an employee who goes out of the way to assist customers and set good standards for any business. This is also a very good example of someone who does so much for so little. Immediate five star rating from me to this Wendy's location. read more
