The server told me that they no longer had oranges to make orange juice, so I ordered coffee and water instead. Later, when the rest of my family arrived, another person at our table also ordered orange juice. Once again, the server said they no longer had orange juice available, so he ordered something else. When it was time to order our meals, I first asked for a Reuben sandwich with fries, but the server informed me that fries were unavailable. Since I was ordering last, I had to look over the menu again and eventually ordered the "Build Your Own Breakfast." When our food arrived, the server forgot to bring the pancakes that came with my order, as well as the baby's water. After I asked for both items, she eventually brought the pancakes. At the same time, she was carrying a glass of orange juice to another table. I asked her about it because both I and another relative at our table had been told that orange juice was unavailable. She replied that she had found two glasses, even though we had both been told that there was no orange juice. Before we had even finished eating, the server brought our to-go boxes and the bill to the table. I asked to speak with the manager, Christine, but unfortunately, I found her attitude to be just as rude as the server's. The manager later returned and asked whether we wanted one check or separate checks. When my daughter and I paid our portions of the bill, we both chose not to leave a tip because tips should reflect the quality of service provided. After my daughter finished paying, the server commented, "No tip? They deserve shit." I have eaten at Black Bear several times in the past and have always received excellent service, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I am extremely dissatisfied with the treatment we received and hope that management addresses these issues so that future customers do not have the same experience.

We started off with alligator tail appetizers and the sauce had a good hint of horseradish flavor yum. Then I had the Cajun chicken n sausage gumbo with rice and onion rings.
