Woody's usually never misses (from the time when I lived down here full time) but they were on their p's and q's this go round. Server (her name is Candace, spelling might be wrong but holy crap ask for her!) was fab, bartenders SlappedXSquared and although the place was busy, I was attended to promptly, could hear myself think (the vibe was chill even though it was busy), and had phenomenal service. We beat the Sunday church crowd by about 30 minutes. I decided to try the "Nola" burger (listed as the same blend I had at other locations) topped with blackened shrimp and creamy sauce. I ordered my burger medium well. I usually go with medium, but this being a beef and sausage blend patty, I like it over 150 internal. My burger came to the table RARE at best. Took one bite and immediately saw red...in the patty. To their credit, they re-fired and served me a well done burger pretty quick. The patty was all beef and not a touch of seasoning or salt. The cream sauce was a savior, it was nice and flavorful though partly broken. It did not make up for this (now) overdone and flavorless burger patty. The shrimp were fantastic, especially dipped in this Cajun cream sauce. Then I paid witness to something I have never encountered. The hosts tried to seat a party with a person in a wheelchair, in an end booth. Obviously, they immediately protested and had to explain why they couldn't be seated in a booth. They were quickly moved to a table...but this just shook me on how either untrained or uneducated folks can be when it comes to disabled. Shake it off, back to the review. The fries were delicious and hot, just like the ones at the other locations. I think maybe they make their own ranch dressing, it was killer with my piping hot and crispy fries. The Bloody Mary was OK, glass rim was seasoned but spilled all over the napkin upon arrival. Service was friendly and adequate but otherwise unimpressive, had to call server over for the burger issue. If I had not have had such a flavorful burger at the other location, I probably would not have been as disappointed with this one. May give another try at this location, but will probably defer to the other location given the choice.

The drive-in is such a slice of Americana and reminds me of generations gone. The concept of the drive-in grew with America's love of cars and there is something so cool about going to a drive-in. To be clear, Edd's Drive-In does not have car hops, you go wait in line outside a window, buy the food is still what you would expect. The menu is burgers, fries, hot dogs, milk shakes and the like. I went with a double chili cheeseburger and a chili dog. Both were good, but not great. The price was five dollars for the double chili cheeseburger and about three dollars for the chili dog. I will say that the place was pretty busy, so obviously, the community of Pascagoula, Mississippi lives this place. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend Edd's Drive-In.

The last time I went to the cornerstone, the place was happen! Very busy time as we went during lunch. I happen to be traveling with my mother and sister as well on this trip to see my grandmother. My mom got the fried shrimp plate, my sister got shrimps and grits, my grandmother's nurse for 1/2# of royal reds and I got a patty melt. The food came out quickly considering it was lunch rush. The portions were adequate for the price and the food was temperature appropriate and flavorful. The restaurant itself is very minimally, decorated, just a place serving good food. It was a little loud in there this time, but that simply because it was lunch rush. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will miss going to this restaurant since my grandmother is no longer here, but at least I will have the memories of the time spent with her there and the good food that we had.
