Chick-fil-a has a franchise-wide standard that is always met, in my experience. This Chick-fil-a is nestled inside of a shopping area. The parking lot is coned off to keep order between the drive thru and passing vehicles. The lines were long, but lines don't exist at Chick-fil-a. This was my daily post gym stop, for breakfast. None of my drive visits lasted more than 5 minutes and even that's pushing it. The crew members handle the long lines, like the Avengers handles the bad guys. Everyone was always very friendly. Any "thank you" was responded with Chick-Fil-A's signature "my pleasure". My food was always Chick-fil-a quality. I utilized the app to place my drive thru orders and it made it a breeze. This experience and many past experiences, at Chick-Fil-A, is the reason why I look for Chick-Fil-A in every city I visit. I feel comfortable going there, because the customer service bar is so high. read more

But we love the play area so we keep coming back. I wish the kids place mats were in daily accessible, I always have to track down an employee and ask. Worst Chick Fil A ever! Waited at the drive thru doors for 15 minutes on two drinks. Multiple male employees walked by me multiple times to deliver food to the cars behind me. My drinks were literally sitting right there on the table! Finally a female employee asked for my name. I responded and told her it was a drink only order. She completely ignored me...once again I could see my drinks on the table. Ten minutes go by and she finally decided to hand me my drinks. After I put the second one in the cup holder, I told my dog to "back up" so I could roll the window up. That female worker started screaming at me. She even stepped into the driveway as I tried to drive away still screaming her head off at me! For what? Telling my dog to simply back up? This might be my first five star this year. We all know they always well known for amazing customer service. This day it was the lunch rush I didn't order ahead so I went on ahead inside. Order taken sat back relaxed they were extremely busy at least 30 cars in drive thru, 20 people in the pick up line, and 11 people in line to order. All of a sudden I hear "where the $%^k are my chicken nuggets?" A lady some might describe as a "Karen" proceeds to go behind the counter yelling that she was missing nuggets, I didn't ask for strips and where the #$%k are my fries. The lady asked very politely for her to please leave from behind the counter as it is only for employees. We will correct our mistake in a jif. I put in an order for 75 original chicken sandwiches 1 hr before I needed them, and they came through without hesitation. When it came time to pay, I used gift cards that had to be scanned individually and only 8 at a time. Normally Chik-Fil-A has outstanding service and consistent food and a nice environment to enjoy your meal. My visit this morning to the restaurant in D'Iberville was extremely disappointing. The food was good but the service was atrocious. I needed a refill of my drink and after standing at the front counter waiting for approx. 10 minutes I finally just gave up. When I got my drive thru order it looked like half my fries were missing. They put my sauces inside the fry container, as if ordering sauces means you don't get a full order of French fries. This franchise is ran so poorly, I would assume the only reason it actually has any customers would be because there's not another CFA in close proximity. Not only is this dining room ALWAYS dirty, the employees that are supposedly "working" in the dining area are standing around next to what used to be the play area or talking to other employees who are actually off the clock. I listened to an almost 10 minute conversation of a boy talking to another employee both complain about how they didn't get enough hours for the next week... funny because when I told the sad excuse of a "shift leader" (or what I was told the "manager on duty") of the issue, she not only raised her voice at me, but began clapping in my face informing me they are understaffed. This location had a spiffy kids section and must've had a training going on 'cause there were beaucoup employees hanging out. I ordered a 8-piece chicken nugget order and it came out freaky fast. The counter folks were very pleasant and called me "mam". Not sure if this a new thing but bummed that the sauces aren't all on display. I guess the last time I went inside was eons ago. Aside from the insane maze one must go through just to place an order, i have yo say it's rare that my order is ever wrong. Even with the unsettling amount of people that are always there, the franchise has set the standard in how to effectively and efficiently attend to its customers. A business model that many other national franchises should take note of. The food is always good, and I'm never surprised with over cooked or tasteless food. To top it all off, each employee seems genuinely happy to be working there and not once has anyone blamed the pandemic. The only negative is that the restaurant needs more room.
