There's a reason why there isn't a line in this Wendy's. And there's a reason why there is a line at McDonald's across the street. It has nothing to do with Price pointing. I stopped here to have a back up in case I didn't like my dinner from next-door which I didn't think I was going to like and I was right. I simply didn't feel like crossing the road and sitting in a long line. Well, I should've. I ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger for some reason it was $2.49 thought that was expensive but I just wanted to get back to the hotel I got back to the hotel and I had a big burger that I swear had sweet pickles on it. I didn't order sweet pickles. I didn't even know that they had sweet pickles, but it was definitely sweet pickles which makes me a little heebed out because I don't think Wendy's has sweet pickles -so what did I eat? As far as ambience, the building itself almost looks deserted. It has a help-wanted sign on it which almost looks like a for sale or for rent or some kind of weird sign and the entire three days that I've been at the hotel next to it. I don't think I've seen more than one person to go to this so why I went I don't know. Maybe it was curiosity??? As far as service, I wouldn't have called them rude but what they did same as they seemed slow, not personable, not welcoming... But I wouldn't call them rude as some reviewers have called them They seem more like they hated their job. Or we're super Duper tired. The food was great! But their customer service was definitely lacking. It took over 30 minutes to get 3 Junior cheeseburger biggie bags and a Dave's double burger. I noticed they had three employees on break all at once. You can't run an efficient Restaurant like that. Whomever runs this location needs someone ALWAYS on dining room cleanup (it wasn't the cleanest), someone taking orders, someone on drive thru and everyone else making food. A review for fast food is kind of hard, right? I mean, fast food places are always messing up orders, forgetting items, providing minimal quality, and having bad attitudes. We do not really have high expectations for fast food, so being too critical just isn't fair. You know what else isn't fair? I'll tell you! Ordering a cobb salad at a drive through and finding out there are not any forks available after being handed your cobb salad isn't fair. Yup! Wendy's in Geneva just tells you to eat it with a spoon. They say it with a straight face too! Because of my low expectations for fast food, I would be totally forgiving if not having forks was mentioned when I placed my order; then I could have decided to get something different - something that can actually be eaten with a spoon or with my fingers. Wendy's cobb salad is pretty good. Come on though, don't run out of forks and continue to serve it. side note: you can eat salad with a spoon. Another great experience with a Wendy's employee, I stopped in on my way to a meeting and Angelina took my order. Angelina noticed the drawer was short by .11 cents and apologized for correcting the issue. I told her to take her time. She thanked me for understanding. I waited there patiently while I noticed her manager rushing her. And announcing that she made a mistake. It made me feel uncomfortable that her manager didn't have her back. It didn't take to long for Angelina to fix the money issue. Angelina was putting the company first, which I respect. I think Angelina did a great job considering that any other associate would probably turn their other cheek. I've worked in customer service, and sometimes it can be difficult to be "perfect" in high paced environments. I work in marketing so I know how crucial it is to get positive feed back from customers. I didn't get the name of the manager who was being rude to a fantastic associate like Angelina but I just wanted to say someone needs to give her a pay raise or a promotion or even appreciated. As I was waiting on the register to restart, I told her it's okay, it's probably been a long day, and there is no rush. Angelina exhaled with relief. Typically go there minimum twice a week between my three jobs. I ordered my usual combo and it wasn't right and I called up right away and they said they would give me a free sandwich especially since I wasn't going to eat what they gave me. Go back a few days later told them I was supposed to get a free sandwich. Mistakes happen but there is an easy fix. Instead told me I didn't call which clearly I did since it's saved on my phone and wouldn't give me a sandwich. I will not be going back I work way to hard for my money for mistakes and cold food. read more

I want to start by saying I waited 2 days to be sure I wasn't just reacting out of frustration. Yet, here I am 48 hours later and I still can't get over how terrible my last experience was. I pulled up to the drive through and was asked to come inside instead. Inside, I was advised that they were short staffed and "taking a break from the drive through for a while." I placed my order and stood aside waiting for my food. There was no one in front of me in line, so I was really surprised when after about 5 minutes, they called someone else's name for their order. I stood by for 20 minutes before they called my name. Simple order - 1 sandwich 1 drink, 1 chili, and an order of nuggets. I get out to my car, check the bag and find no nuggets. I go back into the store, wait another 3 minutes to get someone's attention and advise the I didn't get my nuggets. I was told they were waiting on nuggets. Nuggets take 6 minutes. I already waited 20. The manager was at the sandwich station, not attending to customer complaints, not hurrying his crew along, not paying attention to the fry station. Simply standing there, ignoring all the dysfunction with his head in the proverbial sand of the sandwich station. This terrible service was nothing more or less than crappy management. I can say this with confidence, since I worked in this exact store when it opened. This is how I know how long it takes to make nearly everything on the menu - not much has changed in that regard. I ordered the Biggue Bag for 5.00 which i thought myst be a special going on. It was my 2nd time ever at Wendys. The entire contents in this meal consisted of a double burger, 4 chicken nuggets, 1 sweet + sour sauce, French fries and a chocolate frosty. The entire amount of food would feed a kid under 13 years old not a 64 year old person! Only 1 staff wore a hat. The rest had all this frizzy hair hanging . Where to begin. Well the second we walked in we knew they were busy. But between the manager yelling at staff. The cashier who looked like he hit the dab pen a little too much and didn't really care about anything because "I'm only here for another week."
