Last night March 3, 2025 there were 3 cars at the drive through. We placed an order for a small chili where we sat for 6 minutes, I decided to go inside since the line hadn't moved to find the girl with her hand in her butt literally. I asked if I could just pick my chili up instead of waiting in the drive through she said I had to reorder. She finally agreed to let me order inside. I wasn't pleased with her hand buried in her butt at all and there were zero customers inside so it should have been fast but it wasn't. The time before that we went to Hillsdale Michigan Wendy's at about 9 o'clock at night and they got all of our orders wrong We waited 20 minutes in line and then another 30 minutes after they had us pull up and then they screwed the order up again They said to give us their name and number and they would replace the food next time we came through I can't remember one time we've gone through Wendy's, where they've gotten it right or got us our food in a timely fashion Fast food used to be fast and it was brought to you by an employee that was energetic and eager to please Now fast food is slow and expensive not to mention they act like you're bothering them or you've ruined their day or ran their dog over These fast food places together or people will stop going because of Dairy Queen just opened up and the food is much better and I never thought I would say that Wendy's needs to make this right and I don't know if there's just not any good employees available or they're just not paying enough I don't recommend this Wendy's, especially if you're in a hurry and you want to avoid pink eye read more

I went to this restaurant establishment on 12/19/2024, at 11:30 PM. I looked online and saw it was open until 12:00 AM. I waited at the drive thru speaker for a couple of minutes, but got no welcome. After that I said, "hello?" A few seconds later through an obviously weather beaten speaker I heard someone say what I thought was, how can I help you? I said I wanted two doubles, sandwich only, with cheese, no mayo, and two regular single cheeseburgers. I thought I heard that the price was $28 and that I would have to wait for it. After getting to the window, I waited another couple of minutes. Finally a long haired, disheveled dude opened the window and said that'll be $28. I said, $28 for two doubles and two cheeseburgers? He nodded. I said, forget it! And drove off. He acted like that was typical. Let me tell you something owners of that Wendy's, I will NEVER GO TO THAT LOCATION AGAIN! And I will tell all my friends and family about your greedy bastard prices for late at night. I recommend you shut down and retire to your Florida or Arizona homes so that people who care can serve Hillsdale. DQ burgers are far superior and cheaper anyway. read more

I know it's stressful, and during Covid 19.. but to spend 18 dollars (yes, our order would have cost that anyway...) for our order and then get home with TWO CHEESEBURGERS and 2 limp cold fries.. no receipt so we couldn't tell corp... nope. Ate there two times previously in the month of April 2017. The Baconator burger was tasty, the fries a bit cold, and the counter help about as upbeat and helpful as a cadaver. But the thing that drove me away for the 3rd and likely final time came the 2nd week of May 2017. Stopped in with my son who prefers Wendy's to both McDonalds and Burger King here in Hillsdale. While waiting in line we observed a young lady who was working the prep table where she was assembling the sandwiches. She came from behind the little station where she had been handling food...and in her hand was a big wad of bills that she handed to the cashier. I stared bug-eyed wondering if she would replace her gloves after handling the money ( money is so damn filthy ) and was sickened to see her go right back to handling food with her gloved hands. I pointed it out to my son....and we both decided we were not hungry all of a sudden. I did call the on duty manager over and politely told her we would not be eating there after all and told her why. She seemed sincerely apologetic for the conduct of the woman making the sandwiches. This is food handling 101! The gloves are NOT to protect the workers hands from the things they touch...but rather they are there to protect the customers food from being touched by nasty things the help behind the counter has touched prior to making the customers food. The last few times that I have been to this Wendy's store they have been out of stuff. First they ran out of cheese...really??!! you sell cheese burgers, second they ran out of spoons and I was informed AFTER I ordered frosty's...what was I supposed to use?? They did n=manage to scrounge up a couple of spoons then today 8-13-17. I was there with my grandkids and I over heard them say they were almost out of potatoes because they were not sent any, they had NO chocolate milk and when I went to get a sprite for my granddaughter (age 6) I thought why is there a dark color in the sprite and why does it smell funny.....It was SEAGRAMS!!!! WTH!!??? I used to work for Wendy's and I just don't know what has happened here! I think this falls down on management...fix it please!!!!! read more

Yet another run down, crappy fast food place in this town. Slow service, crappy food and the whole place is depressing.

Wendys has always been our afternoon hang out with our friends. It's nice to have a spot to eat lunch with our friends and all the employees know us like we are family. Food is always good and plentiful. We never leave hungry. read more

The interior appears very run down. Tables are rusting, ropes taken away leaving holes in floor, windows dirty, floor visually sticky, bathroom beyond dirty. The pop machine and ketchup station clearly had not been disinfected in a long while. Just gross everywhere. I will not eat there again until new management addresses the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. read more
