Me and my friend went in here for a quick bite to eat between classes. We waited at the counter for 15 minutes waiting to order, and we weren't even talked to by the cashier. She didn't even tell us "I'll be right with you" or anything. She just kept walking past us. There was no urgency. I'm not someone who usually gets mad at having to wait, but it was pretty ridiculous. The ordering process was very slow. We both had separate orders. Got a biggie bag the other day. They forgot the patty on my burger, only gave me 3/4 nuggets and the wrong sauce. Fine. I call and ask if I can come by later to get my order replaced or a refund. They said sure, so I decided to stop by. They told me it would be a second before I could get what I needed, only for them to help other customers before me, and leave me waiting for 35 minutes. I ask what's going on, and they said it's gonna be a minute. What in the world? It HAS been a minute! I ended up leaving frustrated, as I didn't have time to sit around at a Wendy's all night. Incredibly oblivious, careless staff. As someone who has experience in food service, I do not understand why your last priority is the customer you completely screwed over. Genuinely the worst Wendy's ever. The workers are incompetent. There's literally 8 or more workers in there and like 3 customers, including the drive-thru, and they screw every. Single. Order. Up. I placed an order for a $5 biggie bag, and they claimed that someone came in and took it for delivery when it was a pickup order. Then, they tried to blame me for it, despite my app clearly stating 'pickup'. They also then told me I could not get my food or a refund like... then I said to the one worker that there has to be a solution and the guy with the pony tail and the one with the bow clipped to the back of his neck were getting all upset like this was some life or death issue like give me my nuggets and im out. But glad they got it all figured out in a short 25 minutes! Couldn't tell who the managers were; they were all acting like they were born this morning. When I asked for a refund staff talked down to me and made it sound like it was a big deal management was extremely rude when they finally decided to help I paid with Apple Pay and they were having trouble refunding it, so she just refunded it as cashand told me it will be back on my account soon. I don't know what it is, but my order is always wrong. The last time I went they gave me the wrong burger. To add, it was ice cold and I had to throw it into the microwave before I could even eat it. We ordered 6 items received 5. (3 sandwiches and 3 fries) The manager kept saying over and over, "we only charged you for 5", that's not the point is it? We ordered 6 and received 5. Ok, don't know if it's laziness, stupidity, COVID-19, quarantine, or not enough training but WTF!?!?!?!?? I ordered from this location yesterday, Easter, knowing that they would be open because for years it's been a tradition for my family to eat Baconaters on Easter. I arrive to pick up my mobile order and no one says anything at the order screen, so I say 'Hello?' A few times, nothing. By this point another car ha spilled up behind me so I decided to pull ahead to the order window. Under any normal circumstances I would never knock on the drive thru window, but I did. AND NO ONE WAS THERE!!! If you're gonna close your location for Easter at least do like every other restaurant in the area and disable online ordering!!! Worst Wendy's ever. I see commercials all the time talking about using their app and their rewards and I get emails about it too. I go to this Wendy's and waste my time and they say they don't accept the rewards in their app. The staff were very rude about it and didn't even apologize for my inconvenience. I didn't see any signs anywhere that said they don't accept the rewards on their app, but they expected me to know that beforehand I guess. So in February I tried to "eat in" and it was literally freezing; the staff were wearing their jackets and the vents were blowing unheated (and maybe chilled) air. I asked the manager and she said they were waiting for corporate to adjust the temp, that each location cannot control its own heating/AC. Dave, i did not know you were so anal; wish you'd have taken your meds. The food is Wendy's food. There will be a 50-50 chance the person taking your order is in training, and yes, friends, that will be S-L-O-W. They know the best time to train the new guy is during the lunchtime rush. Add in the Kent biddy crowd that manages to stand in line for 10 minutes and still not know what they want, and that half hour lunch break will turn into carryout. And you will enjoy standing there hoping someone notices you need a refill, as Dave was apparently too OCD to let you get your own refill as well. Last complaint: exiting this place during lunchtime is the pits; cannot turn left, and even turning right can be tough, esp. if you are hoping to squeak immediately into the left turn lane to head south on Lincoln (easier to go around the block). Who thought putting the exit 20 feet from a traffic light was a good idea? And being mostly clueless, most Kent drivers stoping for the traffic light will not leave an opening so you can turn left into the lot. Guys, do everyone a favor and buy the mini-lot where the Robin Hood once stood and put an exit onto Lincoln St. Oh yeah, don't expect them to shovel the walk, so prepare to walk in the parking lot slush. On the plus side: clean, across from campus, and they can cook as well as the other Wendy's. But it is so f-in corporate, so why not try someplace local, or at least some place interested in giving you a good customer experience instead of being a clueless pain? read more

The absolute epitome of garbage this Wendy's treats the customers like abused animals cold food and neglect. Thank you for my baked potato that is so brown I thought you served dirt to me. Thank you for my chicken sandwich with one tiny ass leaf of lettuce and a tomato the size of quarter. Never received straws for our drinks that were BOTH Dr Pepper when we ordered Coke and a Diet Coke. We repeated our order to him three times and asked for sauce for our 4 for $4 meal deal when ordered and we almost drove off without our sauces. When we asked for our sauces the cashier seemed extremely annoyed by the situation. He never said a single word to us about our order when at the window. He was extremely rude. Being a former fast food employee, I tend to give the cashiers at the window some credit for dealing with a lot. However there is a difference between poor customer service with the lack of caring and being extremely overwhelmed. I've been here twice in the same week and each time I went something had been wrong with our order. I ordered two boo books and didn't receive them or notice until I got home. Both times I didn't get a receipt so I couldn't even prove that I didn't receive my missing things. Tonight when we went an employee was yelling and carrying on about life.
