    Flourless chocolate cake almost finished.

Very nice restaurant between Kent and Streetsboro. I wish I had taken a picture of the food and not the outside bar view. Anyway: We ordered up a Carmenere and a Pinot Noir to start, tasty glasses of wine, and enjoyed the view. Dinner was the Shrimp Scampi and Linguine and a Salmon spiced just right with broccoli. Great meals. Washed those down with Sangiovese and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Polished off with a flourless chocolate cake. Pretty good, and kinda like a lighter fudge cake. Total prior to tip $107. Good meal good surroundings. This is not a weekly stop, but every couple of months it is a nice place to dine.

The Lake House Kitchen + Bar is lakeside restaurant with a gorgeous view of east Twin Lake. I drove by many times until finally stopping in. I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience. FOOD: I always order perch when it's on the menu. And so, I ordered Crispy Lake Perch ($25). Perch was fried and seasoned to perfection. One of the best and most plentiful perch dishes that I've tasted. AMBIANCE: Casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed my meal on the patio on the perfect summer day. Lake views are gorgeous. You're able to walk right up to the lake and take photos. I really wish one could swim in the lake. SERVICE: Service was very attentive and pleasant. I really enjoyed that my meal was delivered to my table at lightning speed. PARKING: Gravel lot parking I look forward to returning. Next time I'm thinking of enjoying brunch and a book. The views are gorgeous, be sure to visit!

Dined inside on a busy Saturday night in August. Luckily we were able to call in a somewhat last minute reservation and get a table. Despite the crowd and the fact that a very large table was sat in our section at the same time, or waitress did a pretty good job of making sure we were attended too. Food was seasonal and delicious! I'm excited to go back and try other dishes.

Crab dip...good taste they could've put more crab meat in. The crackers were a bit stale.

Finally a restaurant worth bragging about...thank you baby Jesus! The service (Sam) she was great, the place was very laid back and relaxing over looking the beautiful lake the drinks were fantastic! If you don't mind pay $$ for good food and service this is your place! I don't mind paying San Diego prices if all is awesome! 4 only bc our crackers were stale.

The ambiance was nice with a gorgeous view to the lake. The service was timely and friendly. We ordered clam chowder and fish and chips. They were very tasty. The manu was too short. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

We had a great time with two other couples at this restaurant. The six of us sat on their patio overlooking the lake on a perfect late summer night. Service was very good with periodic checkins despite a packed house. The server knew the menu, tap list and specials off the top of their head. Always nice. The table shared appetizers: corn fritters and hush puppies. Both were tasty and piping hot. I had a burger for dinner, cooked as ordered to medium-rare. My gf had the maple chicken and loved it. Some folks had dessert that looked good (flourless chocolate cake and raspberry cheesecake). Tap list was good and full bar for cocktails. Great atmosphere, good service and delicious food. We'll be back.

I had fish and chips with coleslaw some hush puppies a Caesar salad two beers over less than $45. I can't believe it. The food was incredibly delicious. Servers were very nice and atmosphere will obviously see for yourself. I highly recommend this place.

Wait staff was very attentive, and the food was so good. My husband had the Fish and Chips, and I had the Sausage and Perogies. I'm always looking for something different on the menu, and you don't find Perogies everywhere, it was so good served with sour cream and carmalized onions. We weren't able to sit on the patio yet because it wasn't open, but we can't wait to go back and sit outside to enjoy the view of the lake. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a casual dinner place that has great food and a view.

The view is spectacular at this chill lakeside restaurant. It was a bit hot, and I was solo, so I sat at the bar which overlooks the lake. I was acknowledged immediately and served shortly thereafter. The bartender was kind and offered great suggestions. I ordered the clam chowder. Believe me, this did not disappoint! It was filled with delicious clams and chunky vegetables. Excellent. I also ordered the walleye bites, thinking that would be a nice small dinner. Unfortunately, these were flavorless, and the beet yogurt was too lemony and didn't really compliment the fish. No worries, though. The bartender was on it and quickly placed another order for me. The cornmeal-breaded perch was my choice. The perch: good, a bit overcooked, nicely seasoned The potatoes: potatoes The veggies: OMG. PERFECTLY DONE! The star of the plate if you ask me. I enjoyed my time here and will visit again.

Easily equal to Chagrin Falls, Chardon Square or any other in northeast Ohio. We arrived and parked along the main street, strolled down the block to the front door. Upon entering you desend the stairway to your left. At the bottom you pass through a glass door into a very nicely appointed dining room (see attached picture). This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with a fine cup of coffee and shared a couple orders of "Whipped Chocolate Mousse" infused with chopped hazelnuts... fabulous. So, as I have said before, if you enjoy "Fine Dining" that is consistently excellent; make the trip to Hudson, Ohio and visit "Downtown 140". You'll be glad you did.

We were seated immediately and instantly felt our experience was going to be top notch. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, upscale but still casual. We ordered the deviled eggs and the sushi shots as an appetizer. The shots were amazing. Fish was fresh and the wontons dipped in the sauce were fantastic. The deviled eggs were just ok and tasted like any normal deviled egg. Nothing to write home about, but fine. For my entree I ordered the mixed grill and chose the Caesar salad and lobster tail. I think it was one of the best Caesar's I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tail was huge! The potatoes were good but a little gummy (potato snob checking in. They were still edible and I finished them, no complaints.) There was some awkwardness in ordering my birthday dessert, however. The server that filled our waters when we were initially seated asked if we were celebrating anything - yes my birthday! She mentioned that I would get a brownie with ice cream on the house. Awesome! My favorite! I don't think this was communicated to our actual waitress. When I asked about the brownie she said "yeah it's a birthday thing, but I think I can make that happen". But.... It's my birthday :'( I felt like a jerk making some special request. My brownie came out without a candle. I overheard a woman at another table also celebrating a birthday and she got a candle with her birthday dessert. I hate to sound like an ungrateful pick me brat, but I wish this would have been communicated to our waitress. Having to ask about the brownie made me feel awkward. I can deal without a candle I swear!! But why wasn't it communicated to our actual server that we were celebrating? It's really all in the little details. But definitely not a make or break. We visited all the way from Pittsburgh, and talked about the meal all the way home and how delicious everything was. We will absolutely make the trip back.
