I decided to try the Panko fish sandwich and a 4 piece chicken nuggets. I ordered at the drive thru to take home. First off the chicken nuggets were as tasty as cardboard. They were overcooked and barely edible. Second try I was hoping for a great tasting fish sandwich, I guess the hope stopped here. Stopped at this Wendy's location in Lecanto Florida after a lengthy doctor's appointment. We opted to just go to their drive through, order our food and park at the extremely small picnic area just right next door. I adore all of Wendy's food - their hamburgers are so fresh and I really love having a square patty that Wendy's is so well known for. They have many options of burgers but one of my go to burgers is their double cheeseburger deluxe with lettuce and tomato. Double cheese and double beef patty you can't go wrong! I enjoy all that they offer from their Chili with chopped onions, peppers, tomatoes, red kidney beans and chopped up hamburger patties. Now some people might say that they use their leftover hamburger patties just chopped up and mixed in. Personally I don't care - I get inventive with my leftovers too. The flavor is the most important factor and I have to say it's a very good chili. You can add cheese, sour cream and hot sauce which I have done many times in the past. They also offer baked potatoes various ways from plain with butter to the fancy chili and cheese baked potato. Their potatoes are sized large enough to make them a meal by themselves or add to your order if you're extra hungry. Their chicken sandwiches are very good too, my favorite is their grilled chicken with lettuce,tomato, and mayo on a grilled bun. The chicken is moist and delicious. They offer many options so you don't get tired of the same old sandwich. On a low carb diet - try their salads. Their Apple Pecan salad is my favorite followed closely by their Southwest Avocado salad. They offer four choices so everyone can find something to tantalize their taste buds! Today however, we opted for their $5 Biggie Bag! I ordered a Double Stack Biggie Bag that came with a Double Stack Cheeseburger, 4 chicken nuggets with choice of sauce, fries and a drink! What a bargain and let me tell you it was delicious and filling. Hubby's choice was their Crispy Chicken BLT Biggie Bag and as the name implies it came with a Crispy Chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato along with 4 piece chicken nuggets, fries and a drink! All this food for $10.60! You cannot go wrong. Their drive through was fast and efficient and our wait time was very short. Our order was correct and our food was hot and satisfying! I would have given this Wendy's a four star rating if the employee at the check out window had a smile and some pleasant customer service. Dour faced employees make people feel unwanted. Hopefully next time we will receive a smile and a thank you for choosing them! read more

Pass this place up if you are looking for a burger or anything to eat. Dried precooked burgers and chaotic service. Fries tasted like they were sitting there for an hour. Chicken sandwich was very dry and under sauced. Caesar salad with chicken was pretty good. Mix on the soda machine was off ( weak) The place was pretty grubby looking. read more

This is a new location and needs to work some kinks, like better customer service, food prep, keeping tables and soda machine clean. Food was good and fresh salads were great, fast service maybe slow down and work on quality/customer service. Stopped in to try the much hyped breakfast. The 2 fort $4 Special got me to finally give breakfast a try. I ordered 2 croissant sandwich and a medium coke at the drive through and was quoted $9! Turns out the croissants sandwiches are NOT included in the Special they are hyping. So I ordered the 2 sandwiches on a hamburger bun. AWFUL! Actually cold in the middle! It seems maybe they are just frozen entrees they microwave? Or maybe they are just too incompetent to make a breakfast sandwich, and keep it hot. God help you if you ordered with the mobile app. Pulled up as instructed and the rude attendant said she didn't have the order. I showed her the order on my phone app and she slammed the window shut. We stopped here for a pickup on our way home from the doctor's office I ordered a taco salad and my husband ordered the hamburger. To my surprise we were told that there was no chili and it would not be ready for another 2 hours, isn't that some of what Wendy's is all about their chili? The following morning we were on our way out of town and thought we would pick up breakfast to eat on the way. We ordered the two for three breakfast sandwiches, mine with bacon and egg and my husband's with sausage and egg. After leaving the drive-thru I pulled out our sandwiches from the bag to find that there was no bacon on the two that were ordered and on the sausage one there were no egg on two of them. We were only a block down the road when we turned around to correct the order. We were told that there was no bacon and on my husband's they claimed there were eggs on it when it left the drive-thru. Imagine that! I can tell you after 2 days in a row there will not be a third. Now I know why Culver's down the road is getting all the business! By far the worst Wendy's I've ever been to which is unfortunate since it's the closest one to me! I could be the only car in the drive thru and It's always a Guarantee you'll be asked to pull up at the stop sign and wait an extra 10 mins. I stopped in there last Thursday with my parents. We were extremely hot and were going to get some drinks and possibly food. The drive thru line was wrapped all the way around the building so we went inside. We were not greeted instead the extremely rude manager stated when we got to the register that we would be waiting awhile. So we waited for 15 minutes while she helped with the drive thru and not once did anyone come to the front register. My dad simply asked if anyone was working the front register, as the line was all the way past the door. The "manager" rudely stated that she had been working since 5 am and she said that she told us we were going to have to wait and if we didn't like it we could leave. We were going to leave and the customer behind us said to the manager that my dad simply asked a question and she told that customer if she didn't like the answer she could leave too. My dad asked for the number for corporate and she said I'm not going to give it to you, you can google it. I asked for her name because she was not wearing a name tag and she laughed and stated she was not going to give it to us and she again stated for us to leave. Then as we were leaving she sarcastically remarked, "I'll see you in a couple days." As we left several other customers stated that they have had several problems at that same Wendy's with the same so called manager. We will never be going back there and I would not recommend it unless you are prepared to be ignored then insulted by an extremely rude and nasty "manager". She obviously does not like her job and she had no customer service skills. I understand it was busy but that does not give her a reason to be rude.
