So, Wendy's is a fast food restaurant, right? But on a recent trip to the drive-through, this place was anything but fast. I'd say we sat in the line for at least 20 minutes to order a 6 piece chicken nugget with small fries. You may be wondering why I didn't just drive off and leave the line. Well, that's because once you get into this drive-through you are COMMITTED. Actually, you're trapped. There's a curb and an island of grass and no way to get out if someone is behind you. Unless maybe you have one of those monster trucks or something. Trapped in a drive-through, not a fun feeling when you have an appointment to get to! I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the guy who took the money and got us our food was very friendly, and the food was fine. But don't go here unless you have lots and lots of time and patience. read more

It was dinner time and we were starving. We had many choices up-and-down M-59 but at that moment, the closest place to drive thru was Wendy's rather than traveling a few more miles up the road for a multitude of choices. Big mistake. Mind you it was 5 o'clock which is prime time for dinner. Our order with simple..... two chicken sandwiches and a junior cheeseburger deluxe. Looking back, I wish I would've read the reviews before eating here but it was such a quick decision to make a pit stop for fast food that all we wanted to do was eat in the car and be on our way. Ordered 2 large spicy chicken sandwich meals. One with a coke one with a frosty. Have us two mediums. When we said we ordered a large they took our order. Came back three minutes later and told us they now have to charge us more. We ended up leaving only to find out. I was never giving a spoon for my Frosty now I can't eat it. I was surprised to have such a pleasant visit after seeing the reviews. For some reason, I really wanted a frosty after my brither-in-law mentioned it. We agreed to head over to Wendy's. My boyfriend was a bit hungry and I was too, so we decided to just go in and order. It didn't look busy on the outside. I prefer eating in sometimes be auae less mistakes happen. The cashier was very polite. She has great customer service skills. We both ordered 4 for $4 and specified what we wanted. She even let me subsitite a frosty instead of the pop. I was excited about that. There was nothing wrong with our food. The burgers tasted fresh. They didn't add anything that we did not want. She even brought the burgers to our table for us. We were waiting and she said to sit and get comfortable. I'm not a fan of their ranch, so I used ketchup. That's just one thing I dislike. The fries look more natural, fresh cut. The issue was that they weren't too hot. They tasted a bit older. We still ate them. I don't expect perfection, especially when it comes to fast food. Cheap, simple, and fast. Nuggets were cold, not even lukewarm. Cheese fries taste like Kraft cheese on top. Played 21 savage and other rap songs and one of the lyrics to one song was "put the Draco to your face". Girl at drive through has long hair and doesn't have it wrapped in any way, and the drive through is right next to the fryers. Another girl behind the counter was swearing at the what I assume was the manager swearing at him that "it is bull**** I have to stay" with kids in the lobby. Celebrating National Chicken day today, Wendy's is giving away 2 pc chicken tenders for free to anyone that knows the secret saying "Winner Winner Chicken Tenders" one per person per visit. They have six sauces to accompany. Creamy Sriracha. Too salty. 1 star. Buttermilk Ranch. No diet food here. 4 stars. Side of s'Awesome. Smoky. Pretty good. 3,5 stars. The other three I did not try are: sweet & sour; BBQ; and Honey mustard. The chicken tenders themselves are real chicken breast tenders. They lightly coated in a crunchy batter. The chicken itself is excellent, moist and juicy. The batter could use a little refinement. 3,5 stars overall. Is it better than McD'? I'd say so, but they don't beat chick-fil-a. 3,5 rounded to 4. Wanted a biggie bag with a bacon double stack. They had no idea what it was and tried charging me $13. I explained it was $6 THREE times. The worst coffee ever. If you are going to get into the breakfast business at least serve decent coffee. The cream and fake sugar are not added to the coffee. Do not eat here. I've tried to give them a chance but tonight was ridiculous. I waited at the window about 10 minutes for food. My fries were fresh, so I assumed most of the other items would be decent. When I got home, I found that my nuggets were dried out, my wife's chicken sandwich had a curled piece of burned bacon on it, and my baconator barely had bacon and it was burned and curled up. The guy at the register never gave me a receipt and walked away after the payment was due, good thing I was paying with a card. My order took over 10 minutes to make. They said they were waiting on meat for the burgers, but proceeded to give the guy who ordered after me his food first. They weren't going to give me my drinks until I mentioned that I ordered drinks and didn't get them. In the side salad, the tomatoes were mush and the lettuce was brown.
