Drinks - Kentucky Peah, Long Island Iced Tea. Burger- Classic Kegger and Kegger Breakfast.

A nice little place downtown Pontiac. Pam, our waitress and bartender was amazing! The drinks were strong and the burgers fresh, hot and absolutely delicious!!! We found a nice place with friendly people, great drinks and wonderful food, close to home. We will definitely be back!

We decided to hit Kegger Burger for a bit of a change. The weather was nasty with snow falling at a pretty good rate. Street parking was nonexistent near the restaurant so I decided to park in the municipal parking lot. I was shocked to learn that parking was $25!! Needless to say, I carefully backed out and looked for street parking further up Saginaw. We were fortunate to find the last spot near Huron. Parking on the street was a dollar per hour so, parking cost me $2! Being the cheap skate that I am, I felt much better. I mean $25!? Really. If Pontiac is trying to discouraging people from coming in to spend money in the city, they're on the right track! When we entered the restaurant we were immediately greeted by Pam who is the Bartender and Waitress. She was quick to take and deliver our drink order. Service at the establishment has always been very good and Pam has served us the last three times we visited. She is outstanding and pays a great deal of attention to her customers! Big kudos to Pam!! Interesting, when we arrived there was one patron at the bar but within 20 minutes the place was packed. There were a lot of older folks (like me) having a good time and Pam and her wait partner served all in good spirits and very efficiently. My Honey and I both had burgers (big surprise, right?) and I had Onion rings rather than fries - after confirming that they were still crispy rings by Pam! I had my burger with Swiss and without a bun - and an egg on top. It was very tasty. We enjoy our time there and had a few laughs. I ordered a Grey goose straight up -chilled and watched Pam go through the process. At the end of our meal I ordered a to-go item which was prepared in good time. Obviously, the kitchen staff has a good handle on the workload! We've never been disappointed when we've visited Kegger and find service and food quality to be consistently great! I'm sure we'll return - so long as I'm not forced to park in the municipal lot! Kegger Burger gets a solid Five from me!

This place has it all! Delicious food, good beer, cider, mead, and they play the best music. My husband and I came here for a burger and a drink on a Thursday night and wandered in just before trivia started. There was a good crowd and we won 2nd place. We will be regulars here.

They always have great menu suggestions if you are unsure, and are quick at making drinks, and bringing out food. I'd like to mention, I had a situation where I was being harassed by another customer but Eloy handled the situation swiftly and professionally. Easy for me to say after that, I have no doubt that this is a safe place. 2. They cater to different interests on different days of the week. My favorite day to go is Thursday for karaoke night, the DJ in charge of karaoke is so great and encouraging! 3. Inclusivity is a huge thing for the LGBTQ community, and sadly some LGBTQ bars aren't as inclusive or safe as you would think. BUT NO WORRY, Liberty bar has gender fluid bathrooms, and is handicap accessible! 4. Last but not least, the food is priced very fairly, and drinks are as well. Their signature cocktails are always a hit, and you can never go wrong with the potstickers. If it wasn't clear earlier in this review, I highly recommend this business. It's a great place to ice break on date night, or just come and make new friends in a safe space. It's truly like family here.

My wife and I arrived shortly after doors opened on a Saturday. The bartender manned both the bar and tables by himself, and was efficient and friendly. We started our meal with mac and cheese bites and fried pickles. Both were about what you'd expect. For our entrees, I ordered the "basic bitch" poutine, while my wife got the "Harlem Hanni" with a side of onion rings. Both the poutine and Hani fell short of my expectations. The poutine desperately needed salt, and the Hani was a bit dry. Like the appetizers, the onion rings were standard. If you're looking for a casual, fun place to get drinks and some bar food, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here. On the flip side, Liberty is classified as a poutinerie, and the poutine was below average.

I reviewed the menu before arriving and was a little concerned about the prices but it was worth every dollar. The only thing I would do different is arrive early and appreciate the structure and atmosphere. Really cool place. Really cool vibe. The only advice I would offer is the chairs. Waze was instrumental in finding this hidden gem as it's tucked behind a fairly blah stretch of Orchard Lake Road. Turn down what is basically a residential street and Sylvan Table appears like a rustic Phoenix! TS saw my eyes light up as I soaked it all in. The owners have moved an antique Maine barn to Sylvan Lake Michigan and created a beautiful (if a bit barren and cold in December) oasis. The inside is as inviting as the outside with a beautiful space buzzing with activity on a cold December night. A Roaring fireplace and beautiful Christmas decor set the stage for a wonderful evening. We were seated upstairs at a nice corner table and the super friendly server was there in a flash to take our drink order. I had my usual, Grey Goose Martini on the rocks with bco's, TS opted for a house Pinot Grigio. Both hit the spot taking the chill off and were delicious. Our server went over some specials, and the menu had a varied selection of great sounding entrees. We started with a charcuterie board with their own house made crackers, cheeses and meats including a decadent pate'. And as an added bonus we were brought a few roasted brussel sprouts with cranberry chutney, fantastic! For our main course TS opted for the pork chop with root vegetables and I had the roasted chicken with the same sides. Both were delicious and juicy being cooked over a wood fire! Now Sylvan Table is a farm to table restaurant which could be daunting on a long cold Michigan winter. And part of the farm must be on their 5 acres. I bet those root vegetables were picked and stored on site for use all winter just like an old timey farm. Ee ate like we hadca tip on a famine and washed it down with a big bold red. But there was still room for more. For dessert we split a slice of Buche Noel and some coffee. The dessert was a work of art. As we made our way out we realized we were the last ones there. So after a picture in front of the Christmas tree we were gone. All in a magical experience with food, service and ambiance that can't be beat. And the company, well that goes without saying! So try out ST before everyone finds out about it! Sylvan by name..sylvan by nature. Sylvan Table...Go!

It is a place where the beer is cold and shots are overflowing. I don't think the owners have even heard of a jigger before. I will always have a sentimental feeling for this place. I learned to play cricket with some serious dart players and how to sand a shuffle board (It's gone now). They also have an eclectic jukebox. However, I have to warn that in typical dive bar fashion, this one is located in a pretty sketchy strip and may not be a place for the jumpy. Fortunately the North Oakland Medical Center (or whatever it is called now) is located across the street. If believe this place has either the oldest or one of the oldest liquor licenses in MI. In sum, if you are looking for a real dive bar, look no further than Prues.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical because of where it is located but from the moment we walked in everyone was extremely friendly! The drinks are pretty cheap as well so that was a perk. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because you can smoke in there and being a non smoker it makes it very hard to enjoy yourself when it's nothing but a cloud of smoke. Not sure that I will go back for that reason but other than that it's a pretty cool place!

The music was actually so loud it was hard to catch up with my friend. I wasn't aware of how cozy the spot was. We weren't allowed to sit next to each other (understandably so, the seats are designed for two/four people to sit across from each other like normal) so that made it easiest to just quiet up and listen to the music. I have no problem with that, the singer was great! The waitress was kind for even checking with the manager to see if we could adjust the seating arrangement. I had to ask lol I had the fried salmon bites, very salty but good flavor. Oh, and one of the two bathroom stalls wouldn't close but luckily girl code helped us stay secure! This spot is a hidden gem especially for those who appreciate a very intimate live music performance, when they have it. I'd like to try more of the food.
