I arrived between breakfast and lunch and was pleased the breakfast menu was still up. I had plenty of time to decide what I wanted as all of the employees were everywhere but the front counter. They all saw me but completely ignored me until at last another customer stepped up behind me. Finally someone came up to take my order. After asking me for my order, he emediatly interupted me, stepped away from the register, and turned the menue to lunch. After rethinking my meal to the lunch meal, he got my order wrong and I had to repeat it twice. Finally, my burger had been slapped together with the minimum of ingredients, one pickle, on ring of onion, and the smallest sliver of lettuce I've ever seen. This Wendy's isn't far from home but I have never been here because firstly, they have not had good deals, and secondly, the Wendy's near work was horrible and that somewhat discouraged me from trying other locations in this fast food chain. It's been a while since the Wendy's near work went out of business and I needed to grab lunch on the way up US-13, so I decided to give this location a try. The dining area was comfortable, with a lot of booth seating, and fairly clean, about on par with a Boston Market location. I ordered a taco salad and they whipped it out very quickly, within a few minutes after I completed my order. Then I saw that some assembly was required. No problem. I added the salsa and sour cream to the vegetables but set the chili and chips aside to eat later. Overall, I thought it was okay by fast food standards but not the biggest bargain. I'll have to return another time to try a non-salad item. read more

I'm noticing every time I go to a Wendy's there's an issue! Dave would be ashamed!!! I swear can go down the list, and it's never one location, it's multiple. I'm really thinking it might about to write/call corporate because this is horrible, I had issues years ago at a upper Darby store, don't get me started on the Aston store, or the kirkwood highway one. Or the broomall one. So Again, I had another horrible experience at a Wendy's!!!!!! The lady is a liar! She wouldn't let me redeem my rewards and then lied to me and told me I did not have any points! I have over 2000 points, she then decided to move on to the next customer by opening another register and not help me resolve my issue. I left without ordering. I know. I'm reviewing a fast food chain restaurant. I have to say, out of all the fast food restaurants, Wendy's typically does not disappoint. I tempted fate by ordering the Baconator bacon cheeseburger. Eating this burger is like playing Russian roulette with your arteries. There are two quarter pound patties with two slices of cheese and as you can image....lots of bacon. There was grease dripping off the burger and the bun was a saturated. It was tasty! Their fries are probably best in the market only second to McDonald's. I also like the fact that they serve fresh brewed iced tea and not that soda machine stuff. The employees here were very friendly. I will probably tempt fate again next time I'm in town. read more

I usually don't review fast food locations, but I am going to make an exception here this time. Let me start by saying first off that the quality of the food was fine, no doubt about it. It was, for the most part, up to what I consider to be the fairly high standards of the Wendy's corporation chain. And while I don't eat here on a super regular basis, I probably do manage eight or ten visits per year. Now with that having been said, this was my first experience at this location, and it involves only the drive-thru. I cannot speak to the inside service, the cleanliness, nor the bathrooms. I don't know the condition of the chairs, the soda machine, nor how well the supplies (such as straws and napkins) are kept. So: Wendy's is in the middle of the "BBQ Pulled Pork" ad campaign right now, and as a true fan of both BBQ and of Pulled Pork, I thought that I would give it a try. I pulled up to the ordering board and perused the menu. After a moment, I was ready, and I ordered. I asked for the Cheeseburger/BBQ Pork combo meal, spicy sauce, Coke for the drink, and a small chili. The pork burger is a single cheeseburger topped with their new BBQ pork, and comes with your choice of smoky, sweet, or spicy sauce. The combo comes with a side of fries and a drink. The speed of service was fine, and as always, I verified "One burger, one fry, a chili and my drink" before leaving the window. It was about eight minutes or so to the hotel, and on to my dinner. Now as I stated earlier, the quality of the food was fine overall. But I was sadly disappointed, to say the least, in three of the four items that I received. The Coke was Diet Coke. The small chili turned out to be a "super-small chili", in that it was only approximately half full, and while flavorful, it contained very little of the "meat, bean, onion" part. It was mainly liquid. Was this the bottom of the batch? It was around 8:10 pm, and perhaps it had been emptied during the dinner rush. As a final insult to my almost $10.00 meal, there was no BBQ pork on my BBQ pulled pork burger. The main thing I had come in here for, was nowhere to be seen. I was certainly not jumping up for a 15 mile round tripper just to resolve the missing pig product dilemma I now faced. The bun was correct, and delicious, so it's not like I got a regular cheeseburger by mistake, they simply forgot to put on any pork. The only porcine item in sight was Wendy's PIGtails on the bag. Bummer. The produce was excellent, the meat cooked and seasoned properly, I just missed the BBQ Pork station in the burger line, I guess. So will I try again to hit the BBQ Bonanza at Wendy's? I'm sure I will. But I will look closer next time, or maybe I'll just find a time where I can dine in, and I can assure myself that I get what I came here for. read more

The food was fine and exactly what we ordered/expected from a Wendy's, but the staff was very short with my wife and I. All I did was ask what condiments came on the baconator and the register lady Mina looked at me like I was an asshole and rolled her eyes and sped through what was on it. Also, I've been here a few times since they put in the new Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and consistently every time there is never any syrup in it. I'm drinking FRUIT PUNCH FANTA. NO ONE LIKES FRUIT PUNCH FANTA. Obviously I'm not expecting much because it's a Wendy's in New Castle, but they don't have to be rude about everything read more

The employees at the pick up window always catch an attitude. Twice now I got the wrong order.

It's ok. The floor is very sticky, and the baked potato was extremely dry. But Wendy's has baked potatoes and chili, which makes them superior to every other fast food place... And in this particular Wendy's, there is a fireplace wall and seating area that are actually pretty nice. So still 3 stars :) read more

The food decent but the service had me irritable because when we asked for an extra drink for my 4 for 4 meal I got a very rude remark from one of the employees. But the manager was nice. I wish it didn't take so long to get my order correct. read more
