The hole in the bag caused by the crushed Mexican pizza that leaked out
    Andrew H.

Every single time I've ordered from this location it's at least 20 minutes late (passed the guaranteed time on the app) and half of those times they mess up the order on top of it. On top of that, they package the food so poorly that it almost always leaks through the bag. Go to literally any other location...

Nachos Bell Grande and Crunchy Taco
    Morton F.

Taco Bell was one of the staples of my college days. It was a place to grab a cheap eat when I ventured downtown. Fast forward two decades and the fast food chain has grown up a bit. Instead of whitewash and formica, the dining area decor has been updated in comfortable earth tones. Unfortunately, two decades of inflation has not been kind to their offerings. Prices have gone up and the fast food chain is now skimping on toppings and portion sizes. The Nachos Bell Grande I ordered is but a shell of its former self. On the plus side, Taco Bell now has more drink choices and more condiments. So innovation continues. As far as this particular Taco Bell location goes, the employees are courteous. The dining area is comfortable and nicely air-conditioned for a hot summer day, but felt a bit small and cramped. The parking lot too is a bit tight and congested during the lunch rush, and hard to get in and out of because this Taco Bell is located in an island in the middle of Concord Pike. It's a design decision that may have made sense back in the day but is rather questionable now that the road is a busy 3-lane highway. So overall, it's a mixed bag of an experience. I don't think I'd be a regular customer here but it's an option for when I'm tired of the other choices in the area.

They gave me my exact order quickly but the girl at the drive through seems like she hates her life. Hope she's okay

2 Successful trips through the drive-thru in a row. Looks like they solved whatever bottleneck issues they had in 2020/2021.

On my way home from Philly a few nights ago I decided to go off the route just to hit this Taco Bell before getting home late.

The menu is simple, but authentic. Hubs got tacos and utilized the salsa bar. There is a front room that is brightly lit with light music playing and then the back room is a bit darker worth the TV. Service was awesome and our food came out so quick. For drinks, I got the horchata and him the Jamaica. Both were delicious. I would definitely return and recommend. Parking is metered street. Dessert options are ice cream or churros. I'm leaving with the churros.

The carne asada is without a doubt the best I've found - it's not greasy, not dry, and you can taste that it's flame grilled. This place also doesn't skimp on the meat, so you're absolutely getting your money's worth. I ordered one of each of the tacos except the pollo asado (because, as I told the owner, I just don't really like chicken tacos), but the owner brought me a sample of the pollo asado while I was waiting for my order anyway so that I could try it. And I'll tell you what, that was some damn good chicken! You can tell that the owners are really excited about their food and are deeply invested in the quality. If you're looking for homey, authentic tacos, this one is a winner.
