Trying to understand the passive aggressive attitude at the drive thru. Came here on a Saturday around 11 pm. The young lady working the drive thru seemed to have a serious issue with me, for what reasons I have no idea. Very condescending responses. I had a very simple order, she asked to clarify, I did prior to pulling around. I get to the window. Takes my card. No eye contact, no hello, no thank you.. Food was fine but that was it. Not worth the money anymore for subpar fast food at a premium and a side of attitude. If you hate your job, quit! It was a very disheartening experience. Corporate should take note. read more

just went there to pick up a mobile order and sat at the window for a minute with no one responding after saying something so pulled up to the window and they didnt come up to me until walking past 3 times and when i explained they didnt say anything she gave an attitude and told me i stayed there for "3 seconds" and said something else with her attitude and walked away from me. i cancelled my order and left. wouldnt recommend. the lady was around 5'5, black, and had braids. someone needs to get rid of her negative energy before she sends everyone away. clearly that pay doesnt make her sad ass happy enough. if i could do negative stars i would read more

The new Wendy's in Oaks\Phoenixville opened Monday this week and is now the second business open in this new strip mall along Egypt Rd by the 422 ramp after Wawa opened the previous Friday. It's a Wendy's like many others. Like many of the "new" Wendy's it is very nice inside. TV, Gas fireplace, electronic menus, one of those coke machine's that has hundreds of flavors. Nice store in a pretty good location. They also have outdoor seating for nicer the nicer weather and free Wifi for when it's not so great out... Staff seems pretty gung ho about this new location and you definitely get service with a smile. I am sure everyone is happy they are finally open and they are now gainfully employed. The drive thru lane was packed today, which allowed me to come up with this good tip...Be very careful exiting the store as you basically walk right out into the drive thru lane...keep those kids in hand! Soon to appear in this strip mall: Moe's Southwest Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Penn Liberty Bank, and AT&T. Be careful exiting this strip mall as there is still a lot of construction in the area on Egypt rd and by the 422 ramps. Traffic patterns are changing and new lights are going up. read more

After spending a total of 20 minutes in the drive through, the icing on the cake was pulling up to the speaker com and waiting another 5 minutes just to be greeted with the rudest "um you can order now" you've ever heard. Easily the worst service ever. Stood at register for ten minutes and the entire staff walked by me never said a thing. 8:15 pm on a Thursday night. They clearly hired the wrong people, they don't want to work. If corporate saw this they entire staff would be fired. We came here around 11:30 on a Saturday...what a mess. The place was actually pretty clean l, but only three people were working in the entire restaurant and you could tell. We waited 10 minutes to give our order (we were the first in line) and another 15 for our food. So much for fast food. The soda machine was out of a bunch of flavors and my bun was cold. Came here for lunch around 3 on a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't overly crowded, but the wait for our meal was about 10 minutes. The tables were dirty, drink station messy, cluttered, and unmaintained. Just seems like no one seems to care about the cleanliness or upkeep of the dining area. Trash overflowing in the bathroom and no paper towels. Crew members weren't overly friendly and seemed to mostly move in slow motion. I don't think I'd return to this location. I know it's only Wendy's and not a fancy restaurant, but their prices are getting up there with other of the more premium burger places like 5 Guys or Jake's. I would expect a bit more for $8. read more

The food here is awful. Granted I'm not a Wendy's fan - no matter where you go the fries look cooked but are NEVER hot and rolls don't taste like bread. But this location is particularly bad and fix the damn soda machine! - cola always tastes like seltzer. Good food. I mean, it's fast food. So it's consistent. But this location routinely asks you to pull forward to the railing. I imagine there's some sort of cycle time they have to answer for and this is a way of dodging it. I sat at the railing for a solid ten minutes (I had already paid for my food) before the kid literally walked out to me and said I needed to drive back around the building up to the window. I said "It's been like ten minutes. Are you serious?! How about I just back up twenty feet?" "Nah man. You gotta pull all the way around." "Yeah, I'm not gonna do that." "Bro, I got you, man! I'm totally gonna hook you up. I really just need you to pull all the way around." The "hook up" was five chicken nuggets." Didn't give us our food. Called & "upper" management" was going to contact to refund our money. No call, no refund. Not only did you ruin my husband's dinner that night and he had to get something else, I have had to spend time on calling & chasing people for my money back and still NOTHING. It's not about the $9 but your nonexistent service and terrible experience you've now left us with. Mistakes happen, you can either use them as an opportunity to show your superior customer service or in your case, show you couldn't care less about a customer once you have taken their money. The same thing happened to me at a Chick-fil-A before and not only did they immediately refund my money within minutes over the phone, they sent me a hand-written apology in the mail with free meal cards for the year. That's the difference between crappy (in this case nonexistent) and excellent customer service. Congratulations for earning your way at the bottom. read more

STAY AWAY!!! This is the worst Wendy's we have ever been to. It took forever to get our food and I'm talking 20-25 minutes. When it finally did come, it was cold. The fries tasted like they were left over from yesterday and the whole place seemed dirty. The floors were sticky, the tables were sticky, it was just overall a terrible experience. I have been going here one night a week since about October 2014. In these 6-8 months, I am waiting for the first time that my order has been completed correctly. I guess that equals about 26-30 times in a row through the drive through that it's been wrong. This is SO FRUSTRATING!!! I've been given the wrong drinks, have had missing fries and drinks, been given fries that were still cold inside (guess they are frozen) and cool burgers (maybe warm if I stretch it), been given the wrong items in kids meals and had kids meals with no toys, rarely get straws/spoons/napkins, had to ask for my change, etc. Just once I'd like it to be right. If you use the drive through, check through all your bags before you drive away because there is a 99% chance the order is wrong. When will Wendy's management finally wake up and fix this location? Only bad experiences coming here. Once instance...after waiting on the drive through line for entirely too long I went right back through to ask for a new chicken wrap b/c it was cold. They microwaved it to reheat it and tried to pretend they made me a new one, even put it in a bag to hand it to me. After being microwaved the lettuce was nasty and the wrap wasn't much better. It's a nice new, clean restaurant, but I have gone here off and on for a year and it is consistently the slowest drive-thru I've ever been in. They seriously need corporate to come in and retrain. Horrible place and service. Went to restroom and it was over flooding the toilet with water all over floor. Tables were all filthy with Noone wiping them. This is during lunch hour on a Saturday and only one person on register. We stood in line for 15 minutes and they still didn't take order. When I asked for manager to open a second register they refused stating they only had one cook available and could not open register. The place has no sense of customer care if you go inside. They want to keep their process time low for corporate so only want so many orders in the system rather than take care of having enough people. I would never give any fast food over 3 stars because meh. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because I've been here twice with coupons and they messed up my order 3 times with 2 orders. The second time they messed up 2 things in one order: 1) they didn't take my coupon off and charged me the normal price (which the manager happily fixed and he was nice about it), and then they served me the wrong salad, even though the right salad was on the receipt. I know they just opened but no one in there seems to know what they're doing. They definitely were not trained very well. The food has been above expectations, though! read more

Of the 3 times I have gone here I have had some part of my order screwed up each time. Last week was the last time I will ever go there. I ordered a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger, was told that will be $1.05. Pulled to the window giving them a $5 bill, I get handed my burger and then a minute later I get handed $2.63 in change. I yelled in the window since they had already closed it and walked away. The same lady came back and when I told her I didn't get the right change she told me I was told the wrong amount. I hold up my change and say even if you gave me the wrong coin back you still owe me a dollar. She says oh, looks around and raises her other hand which is holding a dollar. So I immediately think she purposely was trying to short me on change. Do yourself a favor don't go here, and if you still must check your order and count your cash before you pull away. read more
