Ok I'm going to give this place Five stars even though the front counter girl was less than pleasant. I mean like, I'm a manager and if she was working for me, I would have fired her on the spot. That said - I love Elevation Burger- it's my favorite. You see, about 7 years ago they were all over Southwest Florida - Naples and Ft Myers. Then they all closed... so when I moved to PA - I was super excited to see they have one here. So the girl who was unhappy that we walked in at 8:48.. they close at 9:30 - and made it really obvious. I'm sorry, 42 minutes is ample time to help a burger client. - she could not damper my spirit. The food was exactly how I remembered it. We went this past weekend, and really enjoyed our visit. Staff was courteous, making sure they clarified what our orders were, burgers came out hot and fresh, but the fries were the star of the show. We had two kids cheeseburgers that they graciously put lettuce and tomato on one, we had a mushroom Swiss burger, and then we had a regular elevation burger, but with just one patty. All were tasty all we're finished. There were way too many fries so we probably should've only gotten half the orders that we got, but everybody loved them. They were piping hot, salted nicely and had a great crisp on them, very frite style. I was really excited to find a burger place that offers dairy-free cheese, since I had to cut dairy for my 2 month old nursling, but I was charged $4 to sub it on a double burger - the Fiery Burger (they state it's $2 on the make your own menu (doesn't specify per slice), but to sub on a $13 burger *times two* seems classless). I'd rather bring my own pack of Daiya sliced cheese ($4.99 for ten slices at Target) to another establishment - rather than have someone profit off a dietary need (I get recouping your money, but again, I was charged $4 for a single ingredient when I could buy five times as much for $5 myself) Vegan milkshake ($9.95) also not worth it. We had to wait more than five minutes just to order. As others have stated, they are pricy in general (not a huge deal, when it's worth it). The burger patties were like flattened hockey pucks and very firm even though one of the patties was pink inside. I added elevation sauce and it was missing from what I could see/taste. My first visit here, the service was very friendly and helpful. The employee who took my order explained the menu and process. There are many signature sandwiches: burgers, chicken, veggie burgers, vegan burgers, salads. You can also build your own burger, which is what I decided to do. I ordered the veggie burger with tomato, lettuce, onion, cheddar, and sriracha mayo on a potato bun. The veggies and bun were fresh and good, the burger was a Garden Burger. I also ordered "Fancy fries" which are your basic cheese fries with any other toppings you would like to add. Fries were good but not really unique, they reminded me of Five Guys fries. Great organic meat burgers, olive oil cooked fries and onion rings. Much improved service from the disappointing last time we visited. Apparently reliable service is still hard to come by according to management. The folks we had were hard working, friendly and proud of their product. Nice touch by offering us elevation sauce to dip our onion rings in. Fast, convenient and delicious lunch in the Upper Providence shopping center anchored by Wegmans. The elevation burger (double cheeseburger) that I tried was good and mildly juicy, but the well done patties make it a small step above Five Guys. Would have preferred a medium or medium rare option. I feel for them but just trying to order quick food during lunch break. We were in a rush to get my son back to school but already paid so what could we do at that point. Long Story Short: This is a great place to satisfy your burger cravings, especially for Muslims as the beef is halal! Wish they would open more locations! My family and I arrived at 7:30 PM. We meet two other families there. We got in line to order and got told that they are not taking any more orders for the night because they are to busy. We tried to ask for a manager and a young guy said I am the manager. We asked the reasoning and he said we are busy and we close at 8 pm. We said it is 7:30 pm and we can place our order and sit outside. He said that is not fair to his staff?!?! I asked is it fair that we drove 45 minutes to come there and are being told that we can not be served? Furthermore I told him we have been fasting all day due to Ramadan and drove there specifically to get there burgers. He did not want to hear anything and refused to serve us. We left there and will not be back. If the owner of this franchise is reading this post. Before we go anywhere, I'm just going to say that this place won't get 5 stars from me because in the end, the price point for a burger with toppings winds up too high. I'm in agreement with previous reviewers on that. It seems to me like they make the real money on topping your burger. Now, that being said, boy I really liked what I ate here. Of course, me wanting bacon, cheese, and mushrooms on my burger meant I was getting a burger that cost 8 bucks and some change. Hindsight being 20/20 I actually could have done without the bacon and saved $1.59 , as the burger with the cheese was tasty enough without it. The fries aren't better than Five Guys, but they're pretty good. My wife got a shake which I tasted, and there wasn't a damn thing wrong with it. Gang, let me tell you... those cookies they serve are the real deal. I read that the CEO of the company created that recipe, and he had been trying since he was 16 to perfect the cookie recipe. I can't describe them. They really are as good as people say they are. Plus, you know after you eat a double cheeseburger and fries with something for dessert at a lot of places, and you leave there feeling awful, like there's a lump in your stomach? That didn't happen here. I left feeling pretty good. Maybe there is something to the organic ingredients. In the end, it's a burger, and eating too many of them is never good for you. But if you're going to splurge, it may be better to splurge on a place like this that won't leave you feeling like your stomach is a grease pit. read more

For my burger tastes, EB is just OK. If I am eating there it is most likely because someone else wanted to go, not because I'm drooling for an EB. I don't know what it is about the burgers that doesn't work for me like a Charlies or a Cheeburger burger. Not enough fat? Too much grass feeding? It just doesn't WOW me, the taste seems off. Actually, there is something I can tell you...I don't want Cheddar on my burger, I want American Cheese! But that is not what ruins the burger for me, its the beef. The texture is a bit gritty and I've had a bite of gristle a bit too often. Combine that with the high price and I'm coming in at 2 stars for EB. They do have some pluses tho! Good Shakes! Tubs of Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry Ice Cream. You can also add up to 2 free "toppings" such as banana, strawberry, Oreo, and a few others. I had the banana Oreo in my Chocolate shake today and it was REALLY good, but a bit tough to get thru the straw! f The fries are also good. Shoestring fries, cut in store and fried in Olive Oil. These are good! Warning: these fries won't travel well. If you are driving 15 minutes after you pickup your order your fries will be soggy. This has something to do with them being "real" and not overly processed fries that you can get at McDonalds...those babies stay crisp for days, but they were certainly not cut in the store! Veggie burger! They now have a veggie burger! I would never eat a veggie burger, but it's nice to know you could bring your veggie burger friend along with you! Always nice to have a veggie option for such occasions! Customer service here is pretty good too. I've been meaning to write a review on this place for a while now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. The fries are cooked with olive oil so I feel healthier...tho they are shoe string size not meaty but that's how I like 'em. Also, did you know they use some special ingredients here? The meat and cheese are part of the green movement so you feel good about eating here. I think they use cheddar cheese, which makes the burger taste so gourmet. Make sure to get one of the stamped cards because you get a free patty after 6 or 7 stamps. I've only had the single patty burgers and the fries, but it's nice because you get to choose your preferred toppings. I've yet to try the milkshakes but when it gets warmer I am def going to stop by for one. I love the decor with bamboo floor and tables. The staff, mostly kids, are so friendly and nice to be around. The lines are fast and efficient. I would give the customer service a million stars if I could. I like to consider myself something of a burger aficionado, so I obviously had to give Elevation Burger a try. The burger was very good. I'm not sure how its flavor stacks up against Shake Shack, Smashburger, etc., but that means that it holds its own. The fries are good. And, the soft drink selection brought a few pleasant surprises... I was excited to see a couple of Wild Bill's sodas on the soda fountain, and the orange cinnamon iced tea is delightful. The employees were also very pleasant, and the place was very clean. I'm ordinarily skeptical of claims of "all natural" foods, but, after eating a hefty bacon cheeseburger at Elevation, I couldn't help but notice (and I normally wouldn't notice) that I felt fantastic. None of the post-meal lethargy that often follows the consumption of a big hunk of beef. In fact, I was full out energized. I'm not one for the anti-growth hormone hype, or anything of that sort. I don't know what would make their burgers better than others. I'm half-inclined to chalk the good feeling up to a placebo effect. Do you get that when you don't expect any positive effect? It's possible that the elevation sauce contributed to the vinegary flavor, but my hungry far outweighed my curiosity and the burger only existed for a minute. Good fries, but mine were VERY SALTY. Not very crisp, but certainly not undercooked or limp. Did I eat every last fry? Of course I did, but my mouth has a sodium hangover. Good competition for 5 Guys. interestingly rude interaction. went in to order to go at 4:40 when they close at 5, walked up to the counter slowly as i was reading the menu. they waited until the 2 of us got to the register to tell us that they're getting ready to close and won't take our order. all of the workers were staring and not doing anything. we didn't even get to tell them that we weren't going to be eating in so that we wouldn't bother with their closing routine. the stares of the employees and the sarcastic "good job" comment from one worker to the worker who told us they wouldn't take one order, was uncomfortable and a a little rude. all the equipment was still on, there were still fries ready to go, the doors were unlocked and no signs were up. weird. read more
