The food is same at all Wendy's and I have no problem with the food, however the service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life at this location, the service has to be ranked #1 slowest in the world, you. Am literally sit at the drive thru line for 45 minutes just to get a 6 piece nuggets, the line move so slow and when you go inside it is just as slow and you can see the people working just screwing around and taking their time. I made a tactical error of getting fast food at Wendy's on High Street in Pottstown. The drive-through went quickly and yet we waited at the window for a little bit, but that wasn't the real problem. I ordered a Dave's single with cheese and asked for baconator fries and added a chocolate Frosty. Instead of substituting the fries for the special order, they gave me both, the hamburger had nothing on it but cheese, and was listed on the receipt as a plain, which was not what I asked for, and I did not get a fork or a spoon and had to ask them for the frosty which was filled 3/4 of the way while I waited. Kind of disgraceful and clearly the staff handling the drive through window was not adequately trained. I got home and realizing that I didn't have what I asked for but recognizing that it was cold outside and I was tired and hungry. I ate the dry hamburger and I'm getting a fork and a spoon out of my kitchen to eat the frosty and the baconator fries. It will be a long time before I go back to that particular, Wendy's. I don't know why I am upset because I have experience poor service at several Wendy's over the last few months. Perhaps the chain itself is failing. read more

I stopped here over a year ago on my lunch, noticed the line for the drive-thru was crazy long so I went inside. There were only a few people in front of me at the register but I stood there for half an hour and only moved forward once in the queue. I finally left and figured I'd not return. Today I stopped again, seeing the line at the drive-thru was only a couple cars. Set a timer for thirty minutes and by the time it went off, I had only just ordered and was still sitting at the menu board. I'm done with this place. read more

This is the last time I go to this Wendy's. I ordered sandwiches without buns, so they were put in plastic containers. I got home and the grease from the burger leaked out of the container, through the bag, and onto the seat in my car because the container was just thrown into the bag. The other sandwich container was thrown in the bag as well. The fries taste like they've been sitting out for hours and then tossed back in the fryer to heat them up. Wednesday March 1st ~7 p.m. est. We visited the location at 1585 E High St, Pottstown, PA 19464. Don't visit this location at that time of day. You'll find- no napkins, no ketchup, half the drinks in the drink machine empty. We walked in and I had to ask, " Why does it smell like smoke back there?" Their answer, "We had a problem with the french fries." That should have been a clue to walk out. But the Wendy's we usually attend (after 4/5 years of shunning Wendys) gives very good service. Anyway the fries were overdone and greasy? Same with the chickin nuggets. And I wouldn't have complained but a dream about an eatin stand woke me early. Can't recommend this location. read more

Pottstown is a very small town and many people stay to themselves however, it's always nice when you are treated nice in an establishment you spend your money in. With that being said Wendy's last night was amazing! The staff really showed me and my family respect, courtesy, and politeness I normally don't like to buy fast food like this however I was pleasantly surprised! I will be back. Thank you... The workers were very busy practicing their twerking so we needed to wait to be recognized as customers. Polite and friendly attitude must not have been a requirement of this particular Wendy's as non of the workers had those qualities in anyway. Food was cold, but we were in traveling for hours and just shoved the food in our faces as we sat at the "cleanest " table available. (We happened to be the only group there). If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. We waited 20 at the drive through before waiting 30 minutes inside. Is it even fast food? The service was terrible. When I finally got my food they messed up my order. I would have made them give me the right food, but I didn't feel like waiting in line for another 30 minutes. The food is exceptional, but service is so unbearably slow. I waited a minimum of 15 minutes for nuggets and cheese fries in the dive through. This is consistent with every visit through the drive through. The store is also quite dirty inside; flies everywhere, grease and what not on the kitchen floor, crumby tables, etc. If these problems were fixed, I would give it 5 stars. read more
