Selma Wendy's does a decent job at keeping the flow of things going. I have not had a bad experience since they came back to town a few years back. Food has always been fresh and employees are usually nice for the most part. I've only had to flag an employee down to wipe down a table once. They keep things pretty clean and ketchup is always readily available. (Ketchup is a necessity in my family) Love that Wendy's has reoccurring deals in their app. My wallet really appreciates it. It's so bad we usually drive to fresno if we are craving Wendy's. They never give spicy nuggets only regular. Always have to go back for them. Same with sauces. Got four meals with nuggets tonight, and not one sauce. Never tastes fresh. All four meals had something wrong with them. We go very very rarely. Maybe once a year for this reason. would rather spend gas money for correct and fresh food. One time we went all the way home no sauces or spicy nuggets, and I accidentally left without the receipt. Even though I was JUST THERE, they made me pay for the spicy nuggets and one missing burger, since I didn't want to drive back home again for the receipt. That was about a year ago. This location is just terrible I've been here about four times now since I've moved to Selma every time the food is old and cold. Imagine ordering and being charged for a chicken biscuit and getting just the biscuit with no chicken. Imagine being charged thirty dollars for two combos and having to wait twenty minutes, having to have them re-pour your drink three times because they do not know what unsweetened means, and also having them make your food missing key ingredients. This location is a joke! Says it's open on the windows of the store and also online. Pull up and nothing!!! then decide to try once more but this time someone else had pulled up as well. And as no surprise same results as the first time. We even waited for someone to come to the window and nothing then the first car pulled out and I see a worker peek their head out and I reverse to ask if they're open and they go back to hiding! I visited the Wendy's drive thru on Sunday morning, 6/21/20--this was the first time I had tried Wendy's breakfast menu--pretty good selection of sandwiches--they have biscuits and gravy on their breakfast menu which seems pretty unique for fast food breakfast but I didn't try it this time. I ordered a selection of sandwiches for my parents and myself, they enjoyed the standard bacon and egg biscuit sandwiches; the Maple Bacon and Chicken Croissant Sandwich was my favorite. Their version of breakfast potatoes were pretty good, crispy potato wedges that were seasoned very well--almost spicy but in a good way. I also ordered a plain coffee which was good. This was a good drive thru experience in that my order was completed quickly, the order was correct, and the Wendy's staff was friendly. This cannot be a 4 star experience because the first person I encountered, that took the payment, was not wearing a mask (I can't remember if they were wearing gloves). That was such a bummer especially after a state wide order was issued regarding mask wearing just 3 days before this. Luckily, the person that handed me my order was wearing a mask. I hope that this Wendy's location can take every precaution available to keep their staff and customers safe. I will give this Wendy's location a try in the future because I have always received good fast food experiences here and it would be hard to go without frosty's forever. read more

I frequently come here for their salads. My usual a Spicy Chicken Ceaser Salad. Now in several occasions when I order the salad I notice they give me regular chicken instead of the spicy, fine but I would like to be notified that I'm not getting what I'm paying and ordered for. Everytime I come the drive thru always forgets something! EVERYTIME! Then this last time I was more annoyed because they made me wait 10min longer for my salad.(it's a salad!) While I'm sitting there I see one of the cooks sitting on the food prep station on her phone. Then they give me my salad with none of the sides I asked for. I worked in fast food. I should have fled the scene when the drive-thru person twice corrected me stating that they did not have unsweetened tea, only unsweet tea. This location often gets it wrong, but at least they are usually nice about it. Today they got it completely wrong and were not nice about it. Not only that, but even speaking slowly and clearly to the drive-thru person did not result in my getting anything but bewildered looks. Since my past review I have come back several times before and I must say the restarauant has improved tenfold. It is always clean, the vibe is nice, and the staff is friendly. Sometimes there will be errors in my order but that'll happen at every restaurant. The Wendy's staff always fixes it tho. Since my first visit I have not had an issue with the food and their great 4 for 4 deal has kept me coming back for more each time. I can honestly say it's one of the better burger places in selma with some of the best deals and I will continue to come here in the future read more

They not only made us wait forever for our food even though we were the only car in the drive thru, they managed to forget our breakfast meal. Once we drove off and realized we called right away and spoke to the manager. He was nice and apologized saying they are no longer serving breakfast if we would like to come get it tomorrow morning or come back for a 4 for 4 meal which made no sense because the meal we paid for was $6.69, but instead of arguing we said okay we'll be right there. Go inside to pick up our meal just to have the employees confused on what's going on and told them we just called and spoke to the manager and they said he just left.. By the time we had been done with all this and got to finally eat the rest of our food was cold. The food tasted extremely salty. That was a waste of time and money. Really learn to communicate to your employees about these situations if you're going to take off after apologizing over and over again about your mistake especially when we were charged for a meal you forget to give us and basically say we aren't going to get that meal today when we were just there minutes prior. And employees need to learn to not talk about "angry customers" in front of customers because this isn't a situation we weren't at fault for and don't realize they said that in front of the "angry customers." read more

Maybe it's just Selma fast food restaurants that just suck. More times than not I've been disappointed on my lunch break when coming here. Once I was told the portobello burger promo they had wasn't being offered anymore even though the promo had just started and the ads were all over the store. The very next day a customer after me ordered that burger and boom he got it. A few weeks later I ordered a vanilla frosty that I never received. My lunch was over so I had to leave but it would have been nice to know the machine wasn't ready when I ordered. On top of that they are just slow slow slow to get food out to you. read more

Used the wendys app to order ahead because whenever I go they are always busy. I get there and they haven't even started my order. I waited about 10 minutes and after having my ordered repeated to me 4 times I assumed they had give me everything and I left. After a few minutes of driving I realized they didn't give me my drink. Oh well my fault for not remembering it. I get home only to find they also didn't give me the chicken nuggets. I called them since I live about 15 minutes away and spoke to the manager. I told her what happened and she Told me to hold on as she continued to help someone else. She then told another employee that "apparently" they didn't give a lady her fries (which was funny because that's the only thing they actually gave me) she then told me since I used the app she couldn't give me a refund but could put my name on the board so I can get a free meal. I told her I would try to figure out how to get a refund but that that was fine and she kept arguing with me saying she was giving me a free meal which I then reminded her it wasn't a free meal since I paid for something I didn't receive. Arrived at 9:40 pm. Staff was already cleaning up but did not indicate they were closed. We were told it would take a while for the "meat" to cook. It took longer than expected for food, chicken sandwiches and burgers were warm not hot. Fries were all old and cold. Staff did not talk with us or ask if we wanted anything else. No condiments out, nor offered. Both bathrooms were clogged. Won't be making a return trip. read more
