This is a review for their breakfast. The breakfast area is on the right when you walk in. If you have ever popped in for lunch or dinner you're normally seated in the area on the left. The menu is basic and the options are very generous. The service was friendly and fast. There are many options on the menu as well as several omelets Including tailoring your own. The food was good and so was the coffee. A nice basic breakfast option if you're in the area.

Service was fine, there were 2 servers and they were working hard. The wait was fine I was in a group of 8 so a little longer made sense. The atmosphere is confusing. Yes i understand this was Pea Soup Anderson in a previous life but are you embracing the German feeling or is this a burger place it is confusing. A minor facelift is needed. The food was upscale Dennys. Prices were not terrible. I got chicken fried chicken breakfast. The cfc was good the frozen potatoes were not. Others in my group got omelets and they looked rubbery but they said they tasted ok.

Never disappointed. That's not true. I am disappointed that there is not a Legends in Hanford, because I can either spend good money at a great place or spend money wasting it a chain restaurant for the same price. Best food ever, especially The Legend burger. It is so big, my wife and I have to split it. The best time to go, for us anyway, is during the week for lunch. Not too busy. The restaurant still shares the ambiance of the Spike and Rail and Pea Soup Anderson's whom of which previously occupied the restaurant. Don't let the prices fool you. It may seem pricey, but, once you get your meal and you realize that your eyes were bigger than your stomach, you're going to need that "to go" box. Like I emphasized earlier, the prices are VERY fair for what you receive. For the Karen's who only rated 1 star need to go back to Mickey D's for their 5 star meal. LOL Mike

This restaurant was right outside the holiday inn that I was staying at. It has a bar and plenty of seating. The food here was unexpectedly good. I had the fish and chips, which were perfectly crispy and moist, and Cajun pasta. Our waitress was great, she was very attentive.

This is my second time eating here. First time wasn't good for me. I ordered a burger. May be my fault for ordering well done. Either way i didn't care too much for it. Second time i ordered the tritip sliders. Tritip was good, it needed for bbq sauce. Which we got on the side. The waffle sweet potato fries!! Those were delicious. Wasn't a busy night. We might've been the only group eating that night. They did run out of chamoy rim dip for our second round which was a bummer! Definitely try the Mexican candy margarita!!

Steak, fries, buffalo wings, and onion rings.... the wife devoured the clam chowder lol

Ribeye veggies fries, clam chowder buffalo wings and onion rings...went to Legends last night in Selma, haven't been ther since it was Peasoup Andersons lol...over all the food was not that bad for the price more than enough food...by Ribeye had more butter than I like but was cooked to my liking but the wife loved the clam chowder I thought it was ok but what I thot was great wer th onion rings I was impressed they are a must. Over all not bad but the place does need to be remodeled. The server's we good.

I recently visited Legends Taphouse and Grill after many years. The restaurant, which began as Pea Soup Andersen's and has changed names a few times, still serves their iconic pea soup--a comforting constant. Though I didn't try the pea soup this time, I do enjoy split pea with ham. **Service: ** Starting on a positive note, the service was excellent. Our server, Oliver, was attentive, friendly, and had a great personality, which definitely enhanced our dining experience. **Food: ** I ordered the Smokehouse Burger, which was beautifully plated and looked superb. Unfortunately, the taste didn't match the presentation, reminiscent of something from Carl's Jr. rather than a specialty grill. On the other hand, the ghost pepper mac & cheese was delightful--not too spicy, but with a nice kick. My wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich had a decent amount of meat but was lacking in cheese. A proper Philly cheesesteak should be oozing with cheese, not just have a thin slice on top. The sweet potato fries were overcooked, flavorless, and lacked any seasoning or sauce. The sourdough round was surprisingly the best dish we had. This large, freshly baked sourdough bread filled with gooey cheese was a real treat. We also tried the steak bites with chimichurri sauce. I expected sirloin tips or brisket burnt ends but received thin slices of dry tri-tip with a decent chimichurri sauce and some fried onions. This dish wasn't terrible but wasn't impressive either. **Drinks: ** We ordered adult beverages--a blueberry lemonade with vodka for my wife and a Mexican candy margarita for myself. Both drinks were good but disappointingly weak for the price. **Atmosphere: ** The atmosphere of the restaurant needed a little bit of attention, and the area we were seated in was a bit too warm for my taste. However, everything did seem to be clean, which always makes me happy. **Overall: ** Legends Taphouse and Grill has potential, and I believe we caught them on an off day. Friends have mentioned better experiences in the recent past. While this visit was not stellar, it won't deter me from returning to try other menu items. The great service by Oliver is what ultimately bumped this review up to three stars.

Shrimp and sausage Cajun pasta is so good. Perfect amount of seasoning and huge shrimp

Delicious and all around great experience. we will be coming back again for the third time and everytime we are driving through.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I wanted to try their tri-tip but I didn't want the bread. I really wanted to try a salad with tritip, but they didn't have it. It was just a Caesar salad with tri-tip. Decided to have the tri-tip sandwich without the bread and had it wrapped in lettuce. There was so much tri-tip that it actually made three meals for me. The garlic fries were so delicious. The server said they did not come with Parmesan cheese, but in fact they did and that made it even better. I would definitely come back. I only wish they would come up with the a Tri -tip salad, not just Caesar.

Came on a Saturday around 1pm with my fiancée. Was greeted by the host, and was seated right away. There was ample seating in the dining room and bar area. We ordered Legends Tri-tip Sandwich, with Garlic fries and added the Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese side. And WOW! The tri-tip was delicious! The consistency of the tri-tip was not too chewy, and they add a lot of meat to the sandwich! The garlic fries were DELICIOUS. It was nicely seasoned and had a good crisp to it. The Ghost Pepper Mac N Cheese is a must have side. The pasta is Cavatappi which isn't what I'm used to for a Mac n cheese but definitely a nice surprise. And it was ooey gooey and so cheesy! I would come here again if I happen to be in the area!

A makeover of Anderson's Pea Soup. It's now a pub with pub food. Huge parking lot, shared with the holiday inn and enterprise. Sports bar. The other dining rooms are not being used. They just have the bar room open for seating. Tables, bar seating and high tops. We went on a Tuesday and they had college football and a rerun of Monday night football. I ordered the classic burger. It was a tad dry. My honey ordered the fish and chips. It was very good. Crispy on the outside. Hot and moist inside. Next time I'll order the fish and chips. For a Tuesday they were pretty busy. Most tables were filled. Turnover is fast, so there is always a open table. I recommend this place.

The building looked absolutely amazing when I arrived... after turning on Split Pea Boulevard, I was wondering what that was about... got into the restaurant and guess what their soup special is : Split Pea ;-) Interior of the restaurant has many Hans Christian Andersen and other Nordic references... very neat... they are subtle... but everywhere. I was seated quickly, asked if I wanted something to drink which I was promptly served. I ordered my lunch for dine in and dinner to go (out of town on a business trip). I ordered my drink to go with my lunch and barely got my drink served and lunch already arrived. The French dip was absolutely wondeful!!! Baguette nicely toasted, tri tip thinly sliced so it was melt in your mouth tender and a properly reduced Au Jus. I ordered Cole slaw with it to keep the carbs down... the flavor was good just a bit overdressed for my liking. Definitely a place I will come back to when in the area!

For starters, Daniel by far made the experience absolutely worth every minute and dollar. He was very knowledgeable about the drinks and food and had great recommendations for the customer favorites. His service was fantastic, he was on top of making sure everyone at the Bar had their needs met and was quick to assist everyone when needed. As someone who very much enjoys a quality drink, I would stick my own neck out to recommend what this place has to offer. Their drink menu contains a variety of flavors that satisfies different palates. Daniel let me sample the different flavors and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was genuinely taken aback how different these drinks were compared to what's on the market. The place overall is pretty spacious, not too bright, really clean, has merchandise, a little arcade area, table seating, and bar seating. The most important thing for me was that it was really clean to include the restrooms. If you enjoy Hard Sodas, Seltzers, and or IPAs, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. The food they serve pairs well with the drinks.

Well... I haven't…read moreseen a bar this awkwardly depressing in... ever. Unfortunately, it still beats their neighbor rival just called, "Sports Bar" I think it was- for the mere fact that it was OPEN. What the hell is wrong with Selma??? No joke, the exciting "Sports Bar" was locked at 4:30 PM, even though a sign outside was proudly declaring it to be "Happy Hour." Way to piss in my corn flakes, guys... So anyway, we walk past "Sports Bar" and run into 99 Club. It was dead. fucking.silent. NOBODY spoke to us except to ask for ID, which the middle-aged woman at the bar walked over to directly beneath a light, put on her glasses, and stared at for a good minute or two. There was one gray old man quietly drinking a beer by himself at the bar. There was another with a power drill screwing with some shit behind the counter, I couldn't tell what he was doing other than being obnoxiously loud and annoying in what otherwise could have been a fucking Shaolin monk's meditation zen garden. I ask the tavern wench if there were any drink specials. She looked at me as if I asked her for money. I then asked if it was happy hour (since it was next door, I didn't think it would be much of a stretch that it would be happy hour here, as well) and all she said was, "not right now." I asked the wench when happy hour started, and she completely blew me off and sat down at the bar herself. OK, me and my boy had time to kill. We were on a mission in this little shit-stain of a town, and we couldn't go back to Fresno yet. So we go to the back of the bar and play FREE pool (yeah, it looked like a fisher price "my first pool table," but it was FREE) so we played pool, laughed, joked around, and had fun in this SILENT, AWKWARD, bar. And got mean-mugged by all three motherfuckers in the place. Luckily, we got saved by the bell as the phone call we were waiting for came right after the first game, so we got the fuck out. A star for FREE Fisher Price pool, and for not getting a sawed-off shotgun pulled on me for not spending any money.
