I was staying in Selma for a couple nights and Super Drive-In's menu appealed to me. Ordering from the window was quick and easy. Even though I had never had a pastrami sandwich in my life, it sounded good at the time. I also got a Butterfinger Blizzard -- I mean Twister -- for dessert. The pastrami was a bit too fatty for my liking, but it was a good-sized portion and filled me up. The Twister was yummy but on the thinner side and melted too quickly. They made everything fresh so don't expect McDonalds drive-thru fast. Prices seemed fair for the sizes. Plenty of crowd pleasing menu options so would recommend if passing through town. read more

We live in Fresno but come to Selma to visit family. My mom has been sick lately so we decided to get lunch here. The food was really good but they did make a mistake on one of the orders. I wanted a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado & I received a burger. On the menu the #18 has a picture of a chicken sandwich but little sign above it that says (it's beef), so honest mistake. The owner was super nice when I called & made me another sandwich with fries/drink for the mistake....but what I really liked was that he told me "God bless you" when I left So I'm giving 4 Stars for the food & 5 Stars for the customer service! read more

8/5/23 Getting lunch. Two BBQ grilled chicken sandwiches ordered. The worker said there is new ownership and they don't have that on the menu, but would be happy to substitute their BBQ burger with grilled chicken. Very kind. Exactly what I wanted. Paid for the order and waited for it to be called. It was definitely pricey. Extra with jalapeños and onion rings. Makes sense. Hopefully it's good! The Pinaapple shake had real pineapple !! The crust on the chicken strip is different I love it! The crispy chicken salad was superior! With huge portions. This place is good I mean food and customer service. But the outside dining area is not really. I was driving by and I saw this burger place. So I decided to check it out. I like small businesses food. They always make it special. So I ordered super bacon burger. On the very top it had a ban. Friend onion rings. Bacon, barbecue sauce, two meat patties, cheese, lettuce, some special sauce and of course another ban. Not going to lie it was delicious. Their customer service is amazing. Those people are nice. But the dining area is kind of filthy. There was so many flies around, plus those tables were sticky and nasty. I had to wipe my table before sitting down. Good, local small time but alright size burgers. Finally after a year living in Selma I decided to stop at this place and I was satisfied that I did managed to stop. It's not the best burger place in the world but sure beats any fast food joint. I got the triple burger and fries. The fries were good but they don't give enough but the burger itself was big, and filled me up completely all day. They was a line to order of people and took 20 minutes to get my food but I understand when there is only two people working in the small drive in, so I won't judge unless they're was a whole squad on their phones slacking off but they were working hard. Food was delicious, not too greasy and had that good fresh taste, I had to admit it was impress but not epic tho. Just enough to hit that 3 star rating. Under new management!! Beware Burgers aren't as great. This used to be the spot when your heading back or to Hanford. Pandemic hit this place hard and has been sold to new owner. I gave them a try today and wasn't impressed, the pastrami was stale and the lettuce wasn't fresh. The bun is soggy like it's been toasted and sitting in a steam warmer. Fries where hot but not crispy. The crushed iced Pepsi is still great. I'll follow up in a few months hopefully they get everything worked out. read more

I drove down for lunch to Super Burger today and I was not disappointed. Each burger is made to order, so you have to wait a bit but it is not too bad. I had the double super with cheese and it was fantastic! Mom & pop heaven once again. Beats the heck out of any of the chains. There was only one person in front of our group but it took probably a good 15-20 minutes to get our order. The pastrami burger was really good. The burger was ok. Kind of had a generic taste. As for the fries they weren't enough. I ordered the medium which looked like a small to me. The meat patty was really thin and you could just tell it was not of the best quality. The tomato in my burger was lacking color and taste. If you want a good old fashioned Mom & Pop type burger joint, this is it. Nothing fancy, just good food. I usually get a cheeseburger combo, but substitute zucchini sticks for the fries. (I'll bum a few fries from the kids, because they are equally good). My son loves the ice cream sundae's. The Pastrami sandwiches are good too! The only downside is if they are busy, it will be a little of a wait, but we always go for the food & we aren't in a hurry.
