Very nice lunch at this Habit Burger. Facilities were clean, staff was being nice and food was great. I ordered a lettuce wrap bacon burger, with (what I thought were) fries and a drink. One of the self-serve kiosks were not working. The food arrived and I advised that there was no fries., proceeding to pull up my electronic receipt. Without a second thought or hesitation, the counter person immediately picked an order out of the frier prep area and put them on my tray. When I found my order, I noted that I didn't purchase fries (a hazard with self-serve kiosks). I returned to the kiosk, purchased a side of fries and apologized to the counter person. The burger was delicious, cooked as requested and plenty of condiments were on hand. I greatly appreciate gluten free options, when they are offered. read more

I love that even when you get delivery from this place, it's at a decent price for really good quality food. When you get your burger, it's freshly made and it has fresh cut ingredients on it every single time. The fries are always made to order and are always fresh and delicious . This Habit is set up so you see the food being prepared if you wait by the counter and needless to say I quickly realized a man preparing orders failed to wear gloves yesterday at lunch time (approx 1pm)!!!! I watched him while horrified grab handfuls of chicken with his bare hands and place it into salads and reach for hamburger buns. In general the food was not as good at this location compared to other Habits, but touching multiple food orders without gloves on was a HUGE turn-off. Went here a few days ago and ordered the garden salad with chicken. Upon first look, the lettuce was wilted, the tomatoes were wrinkly, and the cucumber was slimey in a way you could tell was old. Food is always on point and delicious. Never sloppy or served cold! The restaurant is nice and for the most part usually clean. For some reason we must've caught the crew on a bad day. My family and I went in around 8:00pm. When we walked in nobody greeted us, they were cleaning up the kitchen (don't know why if they don't close till 9:30pm). We ordered our food and the employees seemed to just have an attitude that wasn't professional, no greeting, no conversation whatsoever ever and made my food with attitude. Gave me the wrong dressing and when I went to exchange it I received attitude. Also, by the time it hit 830 they were already checking the bathrooms to deep, clean them and try to mop the floors around us. When we weren't even finished with our meal. It felt like we were trying to be rushed out of the restaurant, but I still don't understand why if the restaurant doesn't close until 930 rather if the dining room closes or not I do know that on a professional standpoint you're not supposed to be cleaning around customers in the sense of mopping the floors, deep cleaning the bathrooms and constantly looking at them and checking if they're done with their meal. I love the habit so I guess I'll just always get pick up instead of dinning in at this Selma location because nobody should have to deal with looks, attitude, and just negative energy being present. read more

When I first heard that Selma was getting a Habit Burger Grill, I was so excited! I've loved the food from this franchise for so long, and it would finally be more accessible to me. My first experience here didn't disappoint at all. My friends and I ordered burgers, fries, and onion rings and everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff is polite. There is plenty of seating and orders turn out pretty quickly. There are plenty of menu options, including vegetarian and a few gluten free items (check out the official website, they have a celiac-gluten free guideline). This restaurant is a great addition to Selma and I'll definitely be back soon! I'm looking forward to finally trying out their milkshakes, which I've heard many good things about. read more

COVID phase: Lunch time and mini escape! Drive-thru taken. It was long, but moved quickly! My mother ordered two grilled chicken salads with ahi tuna added. Teriyaki sauce drizzled on it was asked if wanted and my mother said yes. We waited a short time, got the order and left! The grilled chicken ahi tuna added salad was GREAT! Fresh and delicious! Wow! The ahi tuna was fresh and cooked just right! The chicken was too! The entire salad was scrumptious! The croutons added a nice crunch too! My mother says hers was really good. It's sad that this place isn't being reviewed so well when in fact it was a great experience for me. The food was made fresh to order and it was prepared just right. The service was outstanding. We were even given a free ice cream cone during our visit and the manager came around to ask if we enjoyed everything. It's good food about 70% of the time. Depends how new the cook is. Like who burns kids chicken strips. They'll make it right but they but one shouldn't have to roll the dice. I know portions are weighed out but if I order a sandwich for $12 I shouldn't expect it to be half bun. I was a little reluctant to come in after some other comments I read, but perhaps since this location is new they hadn't been worked through their staffing kinks yet. I had lunch here last week on valentines with some office girls:) great service, great food, and great new restaurant in little old Selma :) I had the Santa Barbara Char Burger which was so yummy! A burger on sourdough with guacamole and cheese ! The fries were great as well. Although you order at a counter and get your own drink there is much better service than any fast food place. We were checked on multiple times and I even got to request a side of bbq sauce. There's plenty of seating and an outdoor seating area too. The restroom was immaculate too. We do online orders for work. We do place orders every other week. We have encountered with our online order many missing items from our individual meals. We detail our orders online to the T but seems that they always seem to miss something. Pro- staff is very friendly and kind Con- online orders only allow you to order up to $65, we should be able to call the store and get an override since we tend to order lots of orders. Con- food should be labeled, we order quite a bit of meals and when we arrive at the local to pickup it's hard to tell which salad or sandwich has detailed items on them. Would like a easier way to tell orders apart. Food is always good and staff is always friendly just need some small suggestions to help our would be great for us when we order online orders! Ok so let me start off by saying. I've always had a great experience and food here...until today! Like damn I know y'all were busy but it really shouldn't affect your presentation. What I mean is I didn't get my receipt til I got my food not when I got my card back and my veggie burger was soggy and sad. I ordered avocado on it, I got charged for it and I received nothing. And the lettuce...like really?! I always get shredded lettuce and it looks great but today was horrible. Either someone was off their A game today or they just need to be retrained. I'm very upset about this! If I could give 1/2 stars I would and it wouldn't be 3 1/2. I will not be coming back for a while...sorry, not sorry.
