This location struggles to have good service and quality control of their food. It seems there is always something messed up in my order or forgotten. I always double check before I leave to make sure I got everything. The service is hit and miss. If the cashier is quick, the food preparer is slow and vice versa. Sometimes they are friendly, but mostly they are new, untrained, and scared of the customers. The food is mediocre and I know Wendy's can do better. Sooo, where do I start? I'm a dasher also, for myself this is near my house so I go twice sometimes three times a week for myself! I usually do drive thru but today I decided to order online and then pick up! I got there and left home at 12 thinking 12:20 pick up time would be plenty of time to have my food ready (I was there at 12:07 and at 12:26 i told them I had to go! So they hurried!" But, honestly I told them I was there more than once! The girl at the front cashier kept being rude /giving attitude! She was pretty darn rude to these two Latino men asking them what they wanted! Wasn't nice about it saying "what do you want ". "Get away from the kiosk". It wasn't necessary! The Syracuse facebook page talks about this location so often! Today was terrible and the food was cold! The one in clearfield beats these guys in every category, despite the renovation this place is trash! I'll never go back . Okkk only to dash! This place is HORRIBLE! My lunch at school was a Rotten egg, so I did not eat. I was very hungry and I went to Wendy's after school. The inside was "blocked off because of a spill" but there were customers in there. I was on an electric scooter and thought... " The drive through is for motorized vehicle. a scooter counts!" so I went there. I was about to finish ordering when the manager said, " Are you on a scooter?" I said yes. she said," Bo scooters allowed!!!!" I was just about to say something about the scooter being a motorized vehicle, when an employee went out and grabed me and my scooter and threw me on the sidewalk. he looked about 30. I'm honestly so over the Syracuse UT location. They are ALWAYS out of everything. I see things advertised on their app like the taki sandwhich and the Wednesday meal and when we get there they say they aren't offering that anymore. Also I'm not just mad about this time, I have built up frustration over the years due to them always running out of baked potatoes, salads, etc. It's like every time is a new disappointment. I really think their management the past few years has been horrible, once they got mad at us for trying to use coupons and their system couldn't handle it. Went out tonight at 8:30 and the lobby was closed for short staff. No wonder. We walked through the drive thru because all we had was cash and didn't have a car. We were then denied service because of not having a car. The male that denied us service was extremely rude with us. Telling us to make a mobile order or leave. This location is in desperate need of some adult supervision. I generally avoid this location at all costs, but tonight the location in Clearfield that we usually go to was having an issue with something and wasn't able to take any orders. So I was forced to go to "high school Wendys". I don't usually have the motivation to write a review because by the time I've eaten I usually just forget about it, but the experience has been so consistently poor that I just have to write this in hopes that the franchise owner or a regional manager might read this and make an unannounced visit to the drive-thru and then set things right for the sake of the Wendy's brand. This location is clearly run entirely by high school kids, which I'm usually ok with because Wendys is probably a good fit for a first job in high school, but when the whole crew is kids everything goes south fast. Typically, there are at least 3-4 things incorrect about our orders. Some of them are minor and I don't mind as much but others drive me crazy. Here are a few from tonight: 1. They lied about their freestyle soda machine not working. This is the one that bugged me enough to prompt this review. How do I know they were lying? Because they've consistently done it every time I order a diet cherry Dr. Pepper and on one visit I questioned them about it and was told that they couldn't do freestyle drinks because it meant that someone had to walk into the dining room to fill the drink. I told them that is absolutely what I expected them to do and they did it. They don't have a freestyle machine back by the drive-thru window, so they just tell you it doesn't work so you'll pick something else. Pure laziness! 2. Asked for Sweet and Sour sauce with the three sets of nuggets ordered, received no sauce (kind of minor issue, frustrating though) 3. No straws (minor issue) 4. Drive-thru line around the building, not their fault for being busy, but they were incredibly slow 5. Wrong order total when trying to pay, they mixed in another order and with the orders out of order they just couldn't function 6. When you pull up to the window, there is a minimum of three kids all seemingly just standing around in that area, one with his mask beneath his nose and one with his mask pulled down like a chin diaper. I will continue to drive past this Wendy's location to go to the one in Clearfield, but please, for the sake of your restaurant, get at least one adult in there. read more

Overall a pretty good Wendy's. They are usually quick and the quality is usually pretty good. I have had a few messed up orders but the manager was very apologetic and did what he could to solve the issue but their is nothing more annoying than going through a drive through then getting home and finding that your order is wrong. This place is just AMAZING!!! I would always go back here for a good burger. The place is very clean and the staff is amazing and I have never got a wrong order before. Their drive thru is very fast but the food isn't crushed when you get home. And comparing the Wendy's in Layton, where their burgers are flat and bland to this Wendy's is just not comparable!
