I ordered via ubereats. After waiting for almost 40 minutes and almost 4 drivers showing up, 3 said the line was so long... another said they couldn't even walk into the business. Foods fine. If you want it fast, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Gave up on drive thru and had to go inside to even get anyone's attention. Ridiculous.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! If you didn't order online then you mean absolutely nothing to this staff. If you approach the counter and try to order in person, then prepare to be ignored for an obscene amount of time. When they finally acknowledge your presence and take your order, then be prepared to wait for your food for about 20-30 minutes. After you finally receive food and realize that they screwed up your order, then be prepared to catch an attitude about it and be ignored some more before they finally get around to fixing it. This establishment has easily provided me some of the worst service I've ever experienced. read more

We came to this Wendy's tonight April 24 2024. The poor girl Holly was busting her behind to try to get orders in, complete orders and it looked like door dashes as well. There must of been 20 people in front of us! She still did everything with a smile! It literally looked like she was the only person working tonight! As you look over to the Fry area you saw a bigger woman whom looked like a manager just laughing and having fun. Not a damn care in the world. It would take her a very long time to get anything done. Holly on the other hand had a sense of urgency. You guys need 10 of her and none of that big lady! Holly you deserve a raise! Thank you for being polite, nice and friendly! Hopefully u get some help! On top of that we and every one else whom were waiting to get there food kept hearing that bigger lady being very disrespectful and I gnorant to Holly. We've been 3 or 4 times now in the past 4 months and we've had no issues so far. On at least 2 of our visits they've been slammed but we still got through the drive thru relatively fast, our food has came out nice and hot, and so far we've had no issues with our orders missing anything or being messed up in anyway. All of the cashier's we've encountered so far have been friendly and polite with the exception of one who was a little short with us, but to be fair we could tell she was busting her butt trying to get food out, and while some people might take offense I don't care how short you are with me if it's in the name of getting me to my food faster. read more

This Wendy's is clean and has accessibility to Wifi. I just wish they had the customer service to compliment the cozy environment. When I walked in one of the females behind the counter was cursing her head off at one of her coworkers. I thought to myself, "wow where is the manager", then realized she likely was the manager. It's a shame that this location doesn't have the quality customer service because the location was recently renovated and looks great. It has the feel of a nice quaint coffee shop (with the exception of the profanity). Its disappointing but the sad part of all this is that I think it is just one person on the staff causing the problem. The other workers appeared friendly and calm like they were used to working under those circumstances and just learned how to tune it all out. Overall the place is well kept and the food what a typical person would expect from a fast food place. Unfortunately the rudeness and loud profanity of one person on staff created so much ruckus the great qualities of this location dwindle and fade real quick...at least for me. I hope they get a handle on the problem quick because I'd really like to come back to this location absent the unnecessary profanity and yelling. UPDATE 2/19/17: I've been back to this spot and looks like they made some changes to the staff, perhaps applied some customer service training for the employees or removed just the one person that caused all the ruckus. Don't even bother. They closed their registers 40 minutes before the advertised closing time. 6 workers inside the restaurant & none of them could even bother to tell us that they're not serving anyone anymore. Worst food!!! Ordered a baconator combo meal through door dash, the burger had to be 3 days old no exaggeration. It was so hard and cold I couldn't even get my teeth through it. The bacon was not cooked AT ALL. And the cheese did not even begin to melt because of how cold the burger was. The fries?? Cold. Also they tasted like windex, i'm almost positive a chemical while cleaning was sprayed onto the fries. Only part i'm satisfied with and didn't have to toss into the trash was my sprite lol. Soda machine was not working, cashier's sounded like this was an ongoing situation. Front counter was out of spoons for frostys, when we inquired for more to be put out we were told that the entire store was out of spoons so we had to use forks. It was fine for us but probably not for someone who ordered a bowl of chili... I ordered a number 7 and the chicken was so rubbery that my teeth couldn't cut through it without pulling the chicken out of the sandwich. Wasn't the best experience. In rating this restaurant, you have to consider whether to base it on the food or the service (or both). The food is typical and I don't have any issues with it; it serves a need for basic stuff. The service is third world quality. Use the drive up window and you are as likely to be frowned at as not at the payment window. Do not expect any version of "please", "thank you" or ,to quote another fast food place, "my pleasure". Is it recently so hard to hire young people with sufficient skills to indicate to a customer that they have not made a serious error in their food choice? I just went through the drive thru and the people, who work it, are effing ignorant. I placed an order for a, meaning a single item, double cheeseburger. The person inside asked "how many?" Again, I said one. I pay and was charged for two. I get to the second window, the girl confirmed that I ordered one sandwich. I did, but mentioned that I was charged for two. The girl stated that I had modified my order. The only modification I made was that I wanted a plain, single sandwich. She flatly refused to give me my money back for the other sandwich. In the meantime, I have contacted the corporate office and lodged my complaint. This isn't the only time they've been rude to me. About a year ago, two teens were sitting at the window as it was late at night. They motioned for another teen to come over. All three were looking at me, pointing and laughing. They continuously foul up orders. For instance, I went there the other night on the way home from work. Ordered two PLAIN double stack sandwiches. The cashier, a very nice bald headed gentleman confirmed my order of two PLAIN double stacks. I get my food and head home. Thank goodness that I checked them before I took a bite. After confirming the order twice, they STILL put EVERYTHING on my sandwich. Tried to scrape the stuff off, but the sandwiches were gross with the taste of the onions, pickles, and mustard. Food Poisoning is a distinct possibility when dining at this location. First off, I love eating at Wendy's. As for the Thorndale location, I ignored the advice of my neighbors, who recommended eating in Exton or Lionville instead, which I mostly do. In particular, their new "specialty" burgers may invite mishandling and food safety issues, especially in poorly run locations. I doubt I'm the first...or the last... Perhaps the local franchise owners should consider selling this location, since they own several others that are significantly better. I spotted an excellent manager from another location there in the past, probably sent to fix things, but it may be time to let this place die if they can't staff it with good employees. This isn't just bad service. This is FOOD POISONING, with the potential for real and significant harm to those at risk, and not just those who don't wish to get sick. Never again. read more

I am only giving them one star because there's no possible way that I can give them a zero. They constantly get orders incorrect. Once, when someone came in to complain that their order was made incorrectly, the manager used profanity, and was extremely rude to that customer, telling them to call their complaint hotline instead. Most of the kids that work there lack in customer service skills. Some of the Latin people that work there use very poor English, making them difficult to understand, along with being rude. Just went through the drive thru and had the worst possible customer service experience of my life. A dog has more skills greeting people than the female at the window. Sh was rude from the moment we didn't even get a hello! Then after we had to repeat our order three times she's closed the window and yelled that we had her "fucked up". This is the only place that with only 1 car in the drive through ahead of you, it takes 20 minutes to actually RECEIVE your food!! If you're interested---I went through the drive-in and ordered a double cheeseburger. I requested that it be fresh-cooked. I was told that "we don't do that." I politely cancelled the order and drove approx. .2 miles to Burger King and ordrered a double whopper fresh off the grill. They gladly accomodated. I had to wait a few minutes which was fine. I would be careful with the Wendy's at Thorndale after hours. They have a crew that keep handing out regular chicken when spicy chicken is ordered because they had run out and didn't want to make anymore ( they didn't think that I was understanding them). Also there are too many flies in the restaurant while you are trying to eat; I wonder how many of those flies were on top of the food before being served it. Last but not least their fries; they would have good fries if they didn't serve reheated stale fries or pull the fries 45 seconds before the timer beeps and had out just about undercook. read more
