Dear Chipotle, I am extremely pleased to inform Chipotle that my meal was absolutely phenomenal! I enjoyed every last bit to be brutally honest. The only setback was my girlfriend's food. You see, my girlfriend is a pretty picky eater. She will cater accordingly just to make sure everything is acceptable to her "good food list". One thing she loves very dearly is ground beef. I believe that ground beef would be an excellent addition to your already gorgeous menu. Not only will it please my girlfriend, it would definitely please other customers. I have grown up eating Chipotle my whole life. I have had plenty of pleasant experiences in my time. But, just because I had a pleasant experience doesn't mean all others do. Adding ground beef to your menu would be a key factor into expanding your consumers very quickly. All in all, my girlfriend and I think Chipotle would benefit greatly from the addition of ground beef. This new dish of protein can add a whole new branch of deliciousness to Chipotle! Ground beef is a highly appreciated food that many love and enjoy frequently. We believe that adding ground beef to your menu would create financial benefits and enhance consumer satisfaction. Soggy tortilla. This is supposed to be a barbacoa taco. They stated that they ran out of steak for my high protein cup and switched it out to chicken without my consent. I hate writing reviews but this feels warranted and the customer service bot was useless. We decided to get a to-go order and it was a terrible experience overall. It started out with the food being at the drive thru window instead of the to-go window. Whatever. But then we get the food and it was such a s*** show. Quesadilla and burrito barely had meat (we paid extra for honey chipotle chicken, too), my quesadilla came without 2 of the 3 sides, the vinaigrette I got was a tiny little drop, guac wasn't ripe at all, and food was cold... just so, so bad. It truly felt like the employees couldn't care less. We won't be going back! read more

Last minute decision to grab something and this is where we ended up. We each had bowls, mine with brisket, my companion's with chicken. My companion was unhappy with the spice on her chicken and only ate 1/3 of it. Mine was a bit spicy due to my salsa selection, so my mild acid stomach was my choice. The cashier did not give me my queso for my chip queso combo. I asked for the small chips and he said there is only large as I'm staring at the shelf of loose chips that can be bagged up. This is a newly open place at Thorndale location near Aldi. I visited here to grab lunch. The place was a little crowded, nicely built, and spacious parking lot. There were a lot of customers on the line for lunch. The menu is a standard Chipotle menu, and I ordered burrito bowl vegetarian. The staff was friendly and they took the instructions clearly and gave a very good fresh quality Burrito bowl. The only downside is that they ran out of fork, and the restroom was not well maintained. I will definitely visit this location, and will I write more about it read more

The food itself is disgusting, my chips were stale and my bowl was not seasoned at all. Plus the guac was brown. A waste of money in this economy. Doesn't even deserve one star. read more

I went to this place in high hopes because it was my first time trying it and I was very disappointed. The steak was extremely dry. The portions were very odd with little to no steak and an extreme amount of Lettuce and sour cream. The tortilla of the burrito was awful too. The place was loud yet not many people were in the which confused me. The workers were very hard to hear with quiet voice or foreign accents. I wouldn't go here if you're hard of hearing. I went to the place for a second time to give it another chance. This time I got a bowl. I was told if you record your order you will get better portions and it did actually work. Sadly once again the meal wasn't too good. There was way too much sour cream and not enough steak. When I record my meal being made I was given snarky looks. Another was the chips, they were way too salty and tasted almost stale. I will never revisit this Chipotle, but there were some very kind customers there. I would recommend Taco Mayo if you really want Mexican food. It's the same price but much better. read more

This Chipotle opened for the first time earlier this year. Here's why I walked out during my first visit and won't return. - A pile of trash -- it looked like empty boxes -- was stacked at the back door, visible from the parking lot as I approached. - As I reached for the front door handle, I remember thinking "how could a door handle get so grungy in just a few months?" - Inside, paper trash was scattered around the concrete floor. There was no greeting or acknowledgment as I entered, although I saw three workers inside. - One person at the counter was completing orders lined up in a row. She never looked towards me. - A third worker eventually went to the window to speak with a person in a car. I began thinking I should have used the drive through. - I exchanged looks with another would-be customer who was also being ignored. We shrugged at each other. As I walked out, she left right after me. On the day of my visit, about a month ago, I emailed a more detailed version of my visit to Chipotle. They didn't respond, so I'm posting this online. read more

My 5* review is now 1* -- it's gone downhill drastically since opening. The place is dirty!!! Even at 2 in the afternoon with no customers, the food service area is disgusting, tables are dirty and the self serve drink area is messy and sticky. I get things can get like this during a lunch rush, but there's no excuse when employees are just standing around midafternoon. I've also noticed the chicken seems to taste different every time and on more than two occasions, I was served rotten lettuce. It's my understanding it's the same regional manager who runs Exton and West Chester. They need to be fired. All of these locations have the same issues! I'm no longer a customer now. read more

This place has had a very rough start. One thing I noticed is possibly 100% of the employees have been fired and they replaced them with a more competent staff. After some bad experiences i am a regular customer here and it seems like a completely different place. They run out of food sometimes still but I haven't had any problems lately. I see the same employees there every time I go now and they are very helpful. They gave me tips and recommendations to ensure my food was not soggy after I returned home to eat for example. Two orders in a row were terrible. First a burrito bowl that I paid $4.60 extra for 2nd helping of meat that probably didn't have one helping on it. The amount of meat was pathetic.. a sprinkle of meat. So $15 for a bowl of rice, beans and sour cream. I gave them another chance today. Picked up Kids meal tacos at the window. I've been to this location 3 times and 2 out of the three they ran out of chips. Don't they make their own like the commercial says? The drive thru had chips and wouldn't give them to us but gave them to the kid behind us in line! What the actual??? Our food was not the plentiful portion Chipotle was known for, especially for the price. I was really hoping this location would be like the one in West Chester but it's more of the same crappy service like the one in Exton. If I could give no stars I would. Where to begin. Placed an online order for pickup at the drive thru. First girl who asked my name was polite. Few minutes later another girl comes up and asks my name. The first girl notices and tells the first one my name and that they were making my food right then. I ordered a burrito. At the 10 minute mark the second girl comes back to the window and asks me to come inside and repeat my order to them. I politely said no I was not coming in. She gets an attitude and says "oh ok then" and I said it had been 10 minutes and started to drive away and she says "well get over it". This was the white girl with the bad teeth and lots of saliva, looks like she's had a rough existence. I actually had planned to throw the burrito away when I got home, had I actually gotten it, because all that saliva and the teeth made me nauseous. There were maybe 2 customers in the store at that time...is making a burrito that difficult? I dodged a bullet, who knows what disease I would have contracted. read more

I went to the Thorndale location last night, which recently opened. I only went twice but I won't be going back due to neither experience being pleasant. I ordered online and my order was supposed to be ready at 9:15pm. I got there at 9:11pm only to be told that they were busy and not sure when my order would be ready. I'm like "what do you mean you're not sure when?" I've never heard that one before. Because she said they don't issue refunds in the store, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding somewhere else to find dinner so late in the evening, I reiterated, " I ordered online and my order was supposed to be ready by 9:16pm. What do you mean?" She then says "We are trying to fill online orders first, we're only working out of one station." So I decided to wait. I left the drive thru to park then sent my daughter inside to let them know which order she was there for. While I waited, I noticed a heated exchange between an employee and a customer in the drive thru. Soon after I noticed the Police pulling up. They had a few words with the customer and the customer angrily pulled off. I later found out that the customer demanded the he recieve his food or a refund, only to have the window slammed in his face by the Chipotle employee. After all of that, It was now 10pm and my order was the last to be filled, we ended up with scraps. My daughter's bowl had crusty bottom-of-the-pot rice, they only had regular chicken when I paid for Al Pastor. This place is poorly run and they don't seem to have a clue about the importance of decent customer service. read more
