Pretty sure this is the slowest wendy's I've ever been to. The line was going out the door and it still took 5 minutes between every single person that ordered to get service. It's not that it was overwhelmingly busy, just nobody would come up front to take orders. Definitely NOT a "fast food" experience. read more

April 8, 2003 12:00 Restrooms were clean, but no paper towels in the dispensers. We stood behind three other customers inside to order and the one person at the cash register proceeded to step away and argue with some other female employee in the back, so no one was getting waited on. Yikes... driving through Wadesboro on the way to Wilmington from Charlotte. Decided to try to get something quick from the drive thru. Upon pulling in, I was at a dead stop with the back of my car hanging out onto 74... the line for the drive-thru had wrapped around the entire building and was backed up. Poor people that had decided to park and dine-in were a bit trapped, but still managed to coordinate with those in the drive-thru line to get themselves out. What I decided to do was to park on the far side and walk in. Got my food faster than the person that was queued up in front of me in the drive thru. Also gave me a chance to take a quick bathroom break and wash may hands before hitting the road again. I know the employees were struggling with the lunch rush, but I feel like a fast food place should try to set their staff up for success. read more

We were in the drive thru for 30 minutes. We pulled to the side to check our order. Sure enough we were missing items. When my husband walked in to get out missing order he forgot to put on his mask. When he walked in he was told he needed a mask on to come inside. Over half of the staff did not have mask on including the kitchen staff. read more

Horrible Wendy's 120 pm on Saturday, resturant was filthy. Had to ask for some one to wipe off tables which never happened. Got 4 drink in which the girl stuck her hand in all 4 of them, asked her to not do that. The food was CD I mean cold the cheese did not even wilt and it was completely wrong. read more

Worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Not only did it take 25 minutes for them to take our order, they got our order wrong. It was 2 PM, and there were 5 or 6 people in line with one person on register. I ordered a hamburger and specifically asked for them to make sure there was lettuce and tomato on it and that is how much lettuce they put on it. My friend asked for no mustard three times, because he is allergic and there was mustard on his burger. Staff was OK, restrooms were her Horrendous and they didn't even have a drink machine like my Wendy's in Monroe. I love Wendy's, but I will never be going back here. Save your time and go to the Bojangles down the street. read more

So i go in with four of my friends, while we are on our way to charlotte. we go in and there's at least 5 people lined up against the wall waiting for their food. we order, only one of us gets our cups. When i go back up to ask for a cup the girl had an attitude. then i bite into my burger, and it is raw! and i was not the only one at the table with a raw burger. they will not be seeing me again. read more

For being on the way to the beach and a popular stopping spot for food you think itd be better. I think it was the lack of staff on a Sunday at lunch time. Definitely not "fast" food. Don't make changes to menu items because they can never get it right. Some of the staff are rude and almost throw you food in your car. Also, wait until you get to the food window to ask for any sauce or salad dressing because if you ask when you order you won't get it. read more

I travel through Wadesboro regularly and stop at this restaurant occasionally. Never again. Tried to place an order at the drive through only to be interrupted multiple times. Before I could review the order I was instructed to go to window one. I paid for my order and was given no receipt. When I got my food the order was completely wrong (as I noted, the young lady taking my order didn't really listen - she just repeatedly interrupted me). Then when I pointed out that this was not what I ordered the girl at the window argued with me, practically threw the food into my car and closed the window. I considered going in to speak to a manager but I was so angry I knew I would regret the conversation. Better to be out ten bucks and maintain my dignity. I will just never visit this store again and I'll be sure to let my friends and associates know about their customer service, as well. read more

We stopped at this Wendy's on the way home from the beach. We had took the long way home and couldn't find a restaurant anywhere. So we stared a different route and found this Wendy's. The food was good, the service was ok but the women's bathroom was nasty. There was only one stall that had toilet paper and the soap dispenser had soap but didn't work....my question is this....how do the employees wash there hands after they go to the bathroom? I do understand that they have a sink in the kitchen....but how many doors/surfaces do they touch with their bathroom hands until they can wash them! read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I'm 100% positive the goal of this staff is to provide such bad service that you NEVER want to return so that they don't have to work.If you are starving, I would tell you to suck it up and drive another 40 miles as far away as possible from any fast food place in this town. Period. Even for a fast food chain it is sorry. And by the time you actually get your order taken you could have driven the 40 miles...and that's with only 2 people in front of you. This is the slowest restaurant I have ever been to. They were not busy at all. We waited 15 minutes for our food with no explanation or apology for the wait. Everyone else that came through waited just as long. The only redeeming quality was that the restaurant was clean as were the bathrooms.
