I ordered the McCarthy's Pub Steak, a 10 oz. strip loin, which was topped with rosemary compound butter, served with a side of heavenly mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was delightful, and although slightly overcooked, it was still a very good steak. The Green beans were fresh and firm and cooked perfectly, and were a great accompaniment to the steak. On their beer menu, I noticed they carried a Canadian beer from Unibroue Brassery in Quebec, which I thought was really cool. Overall, great food, service and happy hour specials and of course Canadian Craft Beer too !

The chocolate lave cake was also fine ... certainly not the best I've had, but it got the job done. I appreciated that they have easily accessible power outlets and USB ports right at the bar, so I could work and charge my devices.

We had a little bit of a lot of the breakfast options, including the hashbrowns, a pancake, breakfast burrito, rye toast, and scrambled eggs. We both agreed that the hashbrowns were the star. Perfectly cooked, slightly seasoned, great with ketchup. My eggs were as expected and the pancake was just ok. Everything came out piping hot and the prices were fair. We'll be back.
