My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch over the weekend. There was no line inside and only one other person dining in the dining area. We placed our order on the kiosk, but were still greeted by the staff and helped with condiments when the food was ready. Everything came out piping hot, crisp, and tasted fresh. I thought the breading on both the fish and chicken was flavorful enough to not require any tartar sauce or cocktail sauce. The little breaded shrimp were my favorite. Little crunchy bites with tons of fresh shrimp flavor. This was my first experience at this chain restaurant and I'm glad it was at the Weirton location. Service is always fast, staff is always friendly. Nothing fancy here, just an older LJS with tasty food. The building could use many updates, but they work with what they have I guess. Ordered a Shrimp platter w/2 fish combo. got all the way home and opened my box only to find NO Shrimp. Called them immediately and first time Nobody answered. Next two times I called I was put on hold and then hung up on. Called a 4th time and this time got to speak with a Manager. The Manager was insanely rude, like basically blaming me the paying customer for their mistake...but really How in the world do you forget Shrimp in a Shrimp basket combo I do not know? She then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted the Shrimp I would have to come back in person, and that she couldn't do anything over the phone. Since I was hungry and craving the Shrimp I already had paid for, I decided to make the 15-20min drive back to retrieve my already paid for Shrimp. I went into the store with my receipt and I was being very understanding and polite, I even brought my combo box back with me that showed I had never received my Shrimp. However, after all of that the ignorant Manager ( and when I say rude or ignorant that doesn't even do this lady justice ) she absolutely should not have any job in retail or anything involved with customer service, she would make a much better prison guard( no offense to the prison guards out there...I would be offended if I was lumped in with this dirtbag lady too). So anyways the Uneducated Manager refused to give me the Shrimp I had already paid for...so in response I politely then asked for a refund because in fairness I should either get the shrimp or my money back for not getting what I had paid for. She then also refused to give me my money back. I then responded with that I was not leaving until I either got the shrimp I already paid for or a refund. I said this in a nice tone and still being polite. She then threatened to call the cops on me if I didn't leave...to which I responded with "Go ahead what are you going to tell them that You ripped me off." She told me there was nothing that she could do and that I would have to contact corporate. So I did contact corporate but guess what? I never heard anything back from them in months and Long John Silvers to this day still owes me either 12 Shrimp or $13.99. And I haven't been back since and I will not support this business at all, even though seafood is my favorite, until LJS fires this ignorant Manager(who shouldn't even qualify as a regular employee with her poor attitude and ignorance)....until they get rid of her (and I wish I knew her name) I will never spend $1 (sorry in my case I guess it's donate any $) at the Weirton LJS ever again! I'd give -5 stars if that was an option. Managers like this ruin businesses, kill the chance of repeat customers, and eat away at a Company's and owners profits. Fire her. read more

Don't bother going through the drive through at night. The lights on the menu board have been out for at least a month.

The drive thru is literally only for off road vehicles. There are so many potholes and cracks in it you will hurt your car...for fish and chips. Not worth it. read more
