We went this evening for dinner. Ordered a strawberry chicken salad and a Chicken ranch bacon wrap (no tomato) We waited for an hour for both. Since we waited so long we told them just to box it up for us to take.home. Once home we opened our meals and this is what we got. Pictures included! Wrap has no tomato but also no lettuce. The chicken is dark! The salad looked like someone threw it up in the plate. Looks disgusting. Totally dissatisfied with this evening's service and quality of food. Also incorrect! Service was good The table we sat at had a smell not sure if it was the cleaner or what but it was not a pleasant smell. Then we ordered the veggie omelet and all we got was tomato inside. I want to commend this Eat n Park for the excellent service they give to insure your safety whether you are dining in or ordering takeout. I've eaten inside here twice now and the experience has made me not only enjoy a meal but also enjoy it safely. You are required to wear your mask when entering and they have a hand sanitizer station near the hostess stand. Once you check in you are led to your booth or table which is arranged that every other booth remains vacant and there is a sign on those booths indicating as such. The waitress brought me a single use paper menu and I noticed that some of their summer favorites are returning which included strawberry chicken salad, strawberry waffle, and bananas foster French toast. The menu is mine to keep and take home for future reference. The waitress wears a mask at all times and also wears disposable gloves. Anything I needed she brought to my table. I ordered my strawberry chicken salad and is prepared just the way I remember it with the delicious poppyseed dressing. The only difference is that they are offering garlic bread or Italian bread. They have not reinstated their baked breads yet. Still I enjoyed it and when it was time to pay you just pay your server. The salad bar area is completely dark and empty. A sad reminder of their best asset but for the times, that will have to wait. When you leave you are required to put on your mask. I should also note that you enter on the right door and leave through the "left" from the outside view but you are actually using the right door from the inside. Eat n Park continues to offer takeout and their menu is online for pickup. You can search for the location, order your meal, and pay online if you wish to avoid any contact. You are given a timeframe for your arrival. Your order comes completed bagged and if you ordered drinks they are given to you in a 4 foam cupholder. Like most takeouts be prepared to wait in your car for those who have opted to pay the restaurant directly when they placed their order. Eat n Park is known as the place for smiles and now the staff wears "smiley masks" as well as gloves to insure your safety. Prices have remained constant which is also a plus. Yes they still have the smiley cookies and also the dessert menu is beginning to expand again. Likewise, you can order a limited selection of whole pies provided you give them advance notice. Still a great place for an affordable friendly family meal. read more

Terrible service. Was given sass and attitude on one visit with a friend when he asked a question. Came back here with the same friend and our waitress told us her coworkers accused us of taking pictures of them. My friend never took out his phone. I had my phone out the majority of the time, because I was planning a visit home to my family who lives across the country and I see once a year. Waitress used profanity when communicating the accusation: "I don't want to sound like a b_____, but..." I got exactly what I expected from this place after leaving a concert and walking in at 12:30am. It's late night diner food. The staff was either new or newly working together. I saw them bring wrong dishes out to tables 3 times. Including ours shortly after. We didn't order anything complicated and it took a little long to get our food. Went to the Eat n Park drive-thru on Sun. 10/13 @ near 5 P:M. near Weirton WV. Had a coupon for 20% off--sweet. The fish sand. and fries were great, and they gave me a cookie! Jada @ the drive-thru was so nice.Checked on tartar sauce and napkins. Fast efficient, friendly ,service in sharp contrast to what I walked out on @ Dkn donuts the other day. What can I say about this place? Overpriced, slightly below-average food? Check. Questionable service? Check. Staff that make it BLATANTLY obvious they hate their jobs and only want to wait on certain customers? Quadruple check. Especially in the early morning. So why do we go here you ask? Because everything else is either 1) worse in terms of service or 2) fast food. I would give zero stars but the place is at least somewhat clean and they're always open. If you want to pay top dollar for average food. Then this is your place! They have a salad bar, which is a plus. But it's not always available. My daughter wanted the breakfast bar, which they said was not available. 15 minutes after she ordered her food...they opened the breakfast bar. It took another hour to get her food. There was a young girl carrying a diapered baby and serving herself on salad bar.. no clothes on baby about 4 months old at all!!! HER HANDS WERE ON THAT DIAPER TOUCHING THE SALAD BAR UTENSILS.. switching hands.. manager went to talk to her but it obviously was not about poopy hands near salad bar.. since she was laughing and went up 4 times with naked diapered baby.. manager should have told her leave baby behind in booth with rest of family.. We had come to Weirton to see our daughter graduate from college, and had been up since 3 am with no food (airplanes don't feed people anymore, you know?). She had recommended Eat'n Park, so that's where we headed. We were greeted as soon as we entered, and taken right to a table. Our drink order was taken promptly, and filled just a quickly. Food was ordered and we settled in to wait. Didn't have to wait too long, either! The portions were ample and filling, and the taste was excellent. Nothing fancy, mind you, just plain cooking, which is what you want when you're really tired. I'm just sorry we didn't have the time to go there again! It was the biggest mistake of my life I ordered two soup n salad bars and two coffee's I didn't look at the price !! MY MISTAKE!!
