And it reminds you that gifts are not just for you but forgiving to others. There's everything from locally made jewelry to uniquely scented candles to jewelry that includes height, formed during the Mount Saint Helen explosion, and turned into glass like gems. They're also crystals and bronze and brass. Very helpful owner or manager I'm not quite sure but she was friendly and great and intelligent and curious. What a great little art supply store in Florence! First off, the woman who I talked with while I…read morewas there is fantastic. I think she may have been the owner, but I'm second-guessing myself a bit now. I was on the Charm Trail. We got to talking and somehow it came about that while I'm from Eugene I currently live in Chicago, and she happened to live in Chicago at one point, too. We also both worked at universities in the city. Just having a chat with her made it a fun stop. The store is very clean and has many of the art supplies one would need to create their next masterpiece--paper, canvases, paints, pens, you name it. They have information about workshops and art-related events as well. I am not much of an artist but I did do a paint night in grad school once and found it to be a lot of fun (surprisingly so--it was very soothing). That is to say, you may also find painting to be a relaxing activity, so if you've ever wanted to pick up the hobby, visit here and you'll good guidance from very helpful staff. I was a bit sad that it's not in Eugene, since I don't get to Florence very often even when I'm home visiting, but coming here did spark creative energies that I'm hoping to follow in the coming months!

Beautiful pieces very reasonable prices, everything from tumbled crystals and small pouches to put them in if gifting, to larger signature pieces that deserve to be taken home and used as guardians. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their inventory and sourcing, and truly welcoming and hospitable to all ages. They reassured parents that children were welcome to hold pieces, touch them and get to know them in order to understand what they wanted to take home. I was curious what they kept in their glass shelves and was not disappointed by the selection of Lemurian quartz clusters from Colombia and delicate shells and carvings by local artists. I found an ideal chunk of pink tourmaline that I had been looking for. The price was perfect. I was grateful to bring it home to work with. Looking forward to returning.

Cute little gift store in Florence that has just about anything your heart desires. The woman who owns this shop also owns Periwinkle Station next door and PS Winkles across the street. She was very friendly and was happy to provide help when I needed, but also didn't breathe down my neck as I was perusing the store. I was on the Florence Charm Trail, but earlier when I was on Bay Street I hadn't stopped into this shop and I'm glad I did the second time around. I was trying to be quick on my trip through this store because my mom and I had planned to head back to Eugene much earlier... so I didn't get a chance to wander leisurely, but there were a few things that caught my eye and I had to keep myself from looking and buying. Had I had more time, I don't think I would have gotten out that easily.
