She asked if she could have Deb's collection of craft supplies.I told her one day. She started right away, painting, coloring, and being in her element. Her 3 year old sister is right there following in her big sisters foot steps. We loved hearing about all the classes coming up and seeing them on the wall is fun too. My girls and I live in CA, my Mom has a house here in Florence so we come to visit a lot. This time around we looked for a house in Albany because we are moving. My daughters loved painting rocks, picture frames, star's, and other Americana decor. We decided to come back the next day to decorate cupcakes. Oh my goodness, Deb had the whole she-bang! Sprinkles galore, cool star sprinkles, different color icing, fondant, fun 4th of July picks to put in them. The girls had way to much fun. When we left my 3 year old Emmy says Mom lets come back, that was fun. I told her you are right, that was fun, we will definitely be back. The yarn suggested was not obtainable so I went on a quest to find something workable. The owner of the store was so helpful. Showed me a website, walked around and helped me with the yarn type. While she didn't have the color I wanted she spent time on the internet trying to find a source. She explained the code on the skein in a way that made great sense and reinforced why swatches are so important. The store is wonderful, has a varied range of prices and quality for the beginner knitter as well as the experienced one. She carries some other things specific to the Oregon coast. Cute little gift store in Florence that has just about anything your heart desires. The woman who owns this shop also owns Periwinkle Station next door and PS Winkles across the street. She was very friendly and was happy to provide help when I needed, but also didn't breathe down my neck as I was perusing the store. I was on the Florence Charm Trail, but earlier when I was on Bay Street I hadn't stopped into this shop and I'm glad I did the second time around. I was trying to be quick on my trip through this store because my mom and I had planned to head back to Eugene much earlier... so I didn't get a chance to wander leisurely, but there were a few things that caught my eye and I had to keep myself from looking and buying. Had I had more time, I don't think I would have gotten out that easily.
