Went here to get my tires repaired after some screws punctured my tires. After the second time my wheel was making a funny sound so I checked it out to find that they had only plugged the hole and not sealed it. To make things even worse the recent plug was sticking halfway out of the tire! This prompted me to check the other tire that was repaired only to find it was also only plugged! They charged me for the price of a total seal when they only did some half-assed plug jobs. Plugs are only meant to be temporary and I was at risk of a blowout thanks to this place. When it was brought up, the owner told us to "beat it" and we had to go to another place to get the tires actually fixed. Never go here. i've worked here as an employee worst place i ever worked at the guy ED would scream yell and call me derogatory names all day and would belittle me everyday he also threw a paint brush at my eye one day while working ed is very rude to customers and he rips people off. Over the phone told me 150 for a rim repair.. got there and the owner told me 250 I still went with it because I needed the rim fixed immediately.. they told me I need a new tire so I went to get one somewhere else and the person putting on my tire told me the rim was still cracked. Came back to get it fixed again they put some cheap type of spread over the crack which didn't last long... realized my tire was still going flat and came back to drop off the rim.. while on the way my tire had a blowout cuz they didn't fix the rim correctly (could've literally died) and was told that I would have to $60 for installation for another tire lol until I told them that thats bs and that not fair then they put on for free. Moral of the story 2 months later the rim is cracked again smh WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! read more

I never thought I would have to bash Werbany and I would not even give them 1 star but that's the only choice I have. We have been loyal customers for over 25 years and have recommended many people over the years. They used to have an awesome guy running the shop who was nothing but professional. One of the key reasons we went there was the super service and follow up repairs if needed. Well, I stopped in today for a slow leak and there's a new manager, Ed. He was absolutely insane. He was yelling at me and the employees. He was incredibly rude and over the top aggressive to the point that I had to ask him to get out of my face! The employees were embarrassed and apologetic. I told him if needed I would pay for it but Werbany always warrantied theirs tires but Ed blew a gasket and said that he wanted me buy new tires. I laughed and said if I need new tires I wouldn't buy them there because of him! He said "good go to Mavis". Unfortunately due to thiis man I will never go back to Werbany again which actually makes me sad. read more

My check engine light was on and I asked if they could look at it. John was very upfront and honest and has done work on both my vehicles with prompt and efficient work. This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything so it's bad. I just found out from other reviews that the guy that use to run it, is no longer there. My daughter leaves for college tomorrow and she was due for an oil change. I got an oil change at another place down the street that just does oil changes. The guy there recommended that I get a new serpentine belt so I went straight to Werbany to have my daughters serpentine belt inspected and possibly replaced if need be. We have always dealt with a gentleman named John at Werbany and I've always trusted him. We go there and didn't see John for the first time. So my fiancé ended up giving specific instructions to a man I didn't recognize and asked him to "check the quality" of the belt because my daughter's car is only at 50,000 miles and it looked perfectly fine to my fiancé from what he could see. Do not change if it's good. If it does have to be changed, please let us see the old one. Three hours later, a man who said his name is John calls me and said my daughter's car is done. I go in and don't see John but the same guy that my fiancé spoke to earlier. I was told that the belt was changed and when we asked to see the old one, he gives me the "old" belt in PERFECTLY GOOD condition (see pic). When I asked him why he changed it, he said it's always good to get a new one eventually. So I said why fix something if it's not broken. This cost me $217 when I didn't need to get a new one! He replied by talking about how he has to go to his doctor because his cholesterol is high and how he's working on getting that under control....What?!!! Run people! Run! read more

They are a racist business. A guy with the last name Werbany who said he was the boss invited me to a fight. I was charged $600 for a tire replacement and they never balance the tire. My car started pulling to the right and the gentleman refused to fix my vehicle. Mind you my car is a 650 BMW Grancoupe. John who is a gentleman was not on site. I had have great experiences every time I came here. My last visit was to make sure there was nothing wrong with my vehicle's tires. I spoke to Ed on the phone he told me to bring it right in, when I got there he immediately got in & drove my vehicle for a few blocks & asked me what I was hearing, I told him, he listened & determined that it was just the type of tires I had. Came to Werbany Tire Town for a full set of tires for my car. I ordered them ahead of time and they were delivered on schedule, at the price quoted to me without any gimmicks or unexpected up-charges. The tires were installed and the alignment was checked all in about 45 minutes. The TPMS was installed properly, the tires filled with nitrogen, and the balancing down properly. A full set of tires come with free rotation and flat fixing for the life of the tires. The staff was polite and dealt with a minor issue with professionalism and good nature. The waiting area is a little dingy, but they took care of me so quickly that I didn't really have to be there long. I saw a stream of customers roll through for minor repairs and, "Hey, there's this weird noise, can you take a look?" and everyone was dealt with kindly and quickly. My SUV had a flat tire. I called around for four tires and Warbany/Royal tire Magnolia had a decent price of $770. So I made an appointment and went there. They had the right tires and took about an hour to change. The total bill came to $865 because they added variety of charges including a $24.75 Shop Fee that was unusual. But I decided to pay. When I was driving to work I noticed slight vibration in the front indicating an imbalanced tire. I called and talk to them about it. I took the SUV back to Royal tire. They took the car in and came back after about three minutes and told me very politely that my tie rod was damaged and need to be replaced. for a cost of $300. They did not even rebalance the tire and detected the tire rod issue so quickly that it gave me impression that they knew already what the problem was. I had no problem before I came there for tire change and the tie rod was fine. Therefore, these folks damaged the tie rod knowingly or unknowingly. Besides tie rod is something that can be damaged very easily just by pulling it. This is a dishonest place. This is certainly not a good place to get your tire changed. read more

I buy all my tires and my kids' tires (three of them) at Werbany Tire Town. The prices are very competitive plus best of all "They Service You After The Sale". As long as I purchased four new tires at the same time then I received "FREE" flat tire repairs and "FREE" tire rotations for 36 months. The competitors I called for tire prices were charging extra for flat tire repairs and tire rotations. I don't know about you, but New Jersey roads are the worst when it comes to road hazards (i.e. pot holes, etc.) , which contribute to getting flat tires. I also always buy the "Road Hazard" too because my kids love hitting the curbs when they drive, so they destroy a lot of tires. The Road Hazard basically gets me a "New" tire for "FREE" or "Half Price"; depending on how much tread the tire has left. I don't know about you but SERVICE outweighs a few extra dollars spent; especially when Werbany Tire Town will "Service You After The Sale"; whereas the competitors don't. Mike B read more
