Okay so my car is 9 months old. I brought in to have the seat redone because it was starting to pill. Not even a month later, same section on the same passenger seat it did the same thing. Today i am bringing it in and having them CHECK the heating components because that seat is rarely used. I have to say Stacy Bruner in the Service department took great care of me. I have taken my vehicles to Wesley Chapel Honda for years but the most recent experience was terrible. They said they replaced the evaporator but after driving my vehicle for weeks afterwards it just didn't seem correct. I took it back and they said there was a crack in the evaporator. So, they replaced it again and in the process damaged the entertainment system, broke one of the temperature buttons and completely forgot to replace the passenger side night light panel. They later told me that panel is no longer made and that if I find one to buy it and they'll reimburse me for it. Well 6 months later after countless texts and emails with little to no response I'm out $80. I even stopped by to speak with a manager and was told they'll process the check and mail it to me. Newest purchase bought complete service package as my husbands cancer diagnosis l, he wanted to know I was taken care of for a while after he was gone. Two oil changes later, told me the 3rd oil change was no longer covered. I paid thousands of dollars for the warranty to include oil changes for 2??!! And then upsold me a transmission oil change to the tune of $800 at 29,000 miles. It's still brand new!! Seriously. I was then required to pay an additional $300 in my home state for registration, leaving an unaccounted balance of $828 that has never been returned. They sent me advertising texts about a certain used vehicle. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership just to find out that the vehicle was not ready to be sold, and they would not even show it. The sales person said he had one for just a little bit more money that I would probably like better anyway. I drove the vehicle and when they came up with the price, it was about $3000 more than the first one I was originally there to look at. I told them It was out of my budget, but please call me when the other one was ready to sell. I never heard back. About two weeks later, I went back on the website and saw the one I drove was still there. I called and made an offer. The salesman counter offered and I offered $500 less than that all via text. That was the last transaction I had with that sales person because he never responded. Yes, no maybe anything. I called again and spoke with the sales manager told him the issue and that we were literally within $500 of making a deal. He said he will reach out to the used car manager and get back to me. Not sure! Sitting for 2.5 hours waiting for a new battery and tire change, you tell me?

Sadly, the excels person was very nice. His name was Ahmad. I like the car we bought which was a Honda pilot elite. However. Trying to get some clarity on exactly what is covered under warranty and what is not has been quite the undertaking. No one seems to know what is included and people are just throwing numbers that are unsubstantiated for instance lifetime powertrain warranty for as long as I own the car. Electric warranty, 10 years or 100,000 miles. I went there four days in a row 72 miles round-trip to get Apple Pay to be turned on. They were a few people that tried to help. It was very nice of them however, all they managed to do was pre-programmed their music selections in serious music in pretty much that's about the best I could say. As I say, I went there four days in a row to get Apple Pay to work I ended up being sent down the street to the AT&T store since that's my cell phone carrier to see if they could get Apple car play to work. But even they couldn't however they did hook me up with a call to Apple who access to my phone and was able to turn on Apple CarPlay. Nevertheless has spent almost 400 miles of my brand new car going back-and-forth to that dealership just to get the radio to work and it's preset stations door locks, headlights, how to open the doors, and all the things that Apple CarPlay makes work. We initially went there because Wesley Chapel Toyota was horrible not really realizing that the same company owns both dealerships. However, as I say, the salesman was very nice. That is literally the only thing they have going for them. That being said I would think I would have everybody from the lady that answers the phone the sales staff the finance staff even the service staff be able to set up these options on your car. Explain each one. What each button does. What option the vehicle has and how it worked. Not just how the sunroof opened and closed but all the other buttons like I said, I like the salesman I like the car I even gave them a great review in Google. If I was to redo that, the only thing I would say is that the guy that sold me the car was nice. Other than that I probably would've left and bought a car somewhere else. That's not to exclude how they say they're not a high-pressure sales dealership well for the first week after I bought a car from them. I received text messages and phone calls wanting to know if I was still interested in buying a car. Remind you this is after I've already bought the car. Bought a car here in January & although that was a good experience, a couple months later we needed information about the Extra add-on package we purchased from the finance department when closing on our loan as its no where to be found in any paperwork we received - so we call the finance department to try and get the information. Now they left the wheel lock tool out of my car from my tire rotation in January. How do I know? Because I am at Sams Club and cannot get new tires because the service department took the wheel lock piece and never replaced it back in my car. I have only had my oil and tires done in this service department since purchasing new, so it was them. I purchased a 2020 Honda Civic SI with 39k miles on it. I inquired about it online where they had it listed for around 23k. After all there dealer fees and whatever markups they like to apply I ended up paying close to 30k for the vehicle. I really do like the vehicle a lot, so I paid the all their markups and "dealer installed packages" with the vehicle. After the test drive and before I signed any paperwork, I mentioned to my sales person, Owen, that this vehicle had quite a bit of curb rash on the all black wheels & asked if they could take care of it. He checked with someone & told me no. I let it go and went forward with the purchase of the vehicle. I had some issues with getting the info for the Vehicle Service Contract that was included in my purchase but I called Fidelity & just got what I needed from them. The day after purchasing my vehicle I was contacted by Matt, the manager. He congratulated me on the purchase & offered to fix the curb rash on the wheels for me. I also told him about a few other things that I was concerned about that I saw after taking the vehicle home, I had a reverse light that was out, the oil was at 30%, & there were some stains in a couple of the seats. Matt told me that it was unacceptable & would schedule a time for me to take care of it. He called me later that day or the next day & told me to bring it by Monday night & would have it taken care of by the end of Tuesday. When I dropped it off Monday night, the advisor I spoke to had no idea what I was doing there & told me I didn't have an appointment. He wrote down all the things I told Matt a few days before on a loose piece of paper & then told me the Recon guy would handle everything. On Tuesday I received no phone calls updating me on my vehicles status & I called a handful of times and the advisors I spoke to had no idea what was going on or where my vehicle was. My wife even called on her lunch break & they told her my vehicle hadn't even been touched yet because I didn't have an appointment. Matt eventually ended up getting a hold of me & told me that he didn't understand why service told my wife that because he just got the keys back from service & that the maintenance was complete. I asked him if it was gonna be complete by the end of the day and that I had to drive an hour to get to the dealer. He told me it was gonna get picked up by their wheel guy & it would be ready for me by 7-7:30. So my wife took me to the dealer & when I got there at 7:45-7:50 my salesmen, Owen, contacted someone & told me my car was still with the wheel guy & to comeback tomorrow. Which was unacceptable but I just let it go & left. I got a call from Matt the next day & he apologized for the miscommunication & offered to get me an uber cause I had no ride that night. So I did appreciate Matt for making that happen for me. When I received my vehicle, the wheels did look good. I checked the oil light & it looked like it was reset. However they didn't address the stains in the seats nor did they fix my reverse light bulb. It was close to closing time & I didn't have a ride home so I took it home & decided to deal with it the next day. I called Matt & he told me he checked it himself & everything was good but he said to give him an hour & he'd call me back. He didn't call me back and I called him a bunch of times later in the day. Owen ended up reaching out to me & told me to go to their service department for the bulb and to get some nice seat covers for the stained seats. I told him I'm done with his service department & if they wanted to help still, that I'll take it to someone who's competent & they can take care of the bill. Matt called me and told me he spent 670 on the wheels and that it IS a USED car and he didn't have to do that. He told me he could've put nail polish on them and that he went 'above and beyond.' He told me to bring it to service and that they are competent. But after all this I don't think they are competent. It's a shame because I really like the car but the dealerships incompetence made this a really tough experience. read more

I want to start by saying I love my odyssey BUT I'm not so pleased with the dealership. First, we had an appointment with a salesman we talked to on the phone. When we got there he wasn't available so we were switched to a rookie salesman. I explained exactly what we wanted . We waited a while and when I went to the men's room he brought my wife a car to consider that was exactly what we had already and not what I asked for. I got a little excited and told him again what we wanted so he took us to a grey odyssey that wouldn't start. He said they have several out back and what color did we want because all were available. We said Maroon. He brought a white one and said they were all white or grey. We took the white one and then it got worse. I wanted a factory hitch installed for my mobility scooter and he said u haul would put an aftermarket hitch on for about 200.00 I had bad luck with the aftermarket hitch on the car I was trading in so I asked for the factory hitch for over 2 grand. Then while they were getting the car ready we went to the financial office and were sold an extended warranty for 5 grand that said we would be supplied a loner car if our car was kept overnight. After 10 hours at the dealership we were told they needed the car for the weekend so they had us use our trade in as a rental that I'm sure Honda paid for as we had to sign it as a rental. We were going north next Wednesday so we needed the car Monday. Not ready until Tuesday so we picked it up and packed. On the way north a trucker pointed out the wire harness for the hitch was hanging real close to the ground. The factory wire harness was installed correctly but to accommodate the lift they spliced into the factory wire harness instead of getting a simple 2 wire plug to work with the factory harness. It gets worse. The display for all radio and gps functions went blank. They picked the car up and no loaner was available so I told them I had a doctors appointment at 9 am . They brought the car back at 8 not fixed saying they had to order the new one. I had mentioned the wire harness but that also was overlooked. A month passed and one day the battery was dead so I recharged it and the display started working again. I called the service manager and told him and he said it was consider defective and they would replace it and fix the wires. I told him to call when the part comes in and I would bring it back to complete the repair.. Almost a year later and no call. We took it to the West-Hurr dealership in Canandaigua NY for service where we met a very pleasant service writer and I explained all of this to him and pointed out the wires hanging down. In short...they're giving away cars. Right. Interesting to note that it clearly states on the offer that it is good only for the recipient. Using my dead mother's name is quite clever. Nobody likes car dealers but these guys are the worst. I feel like I need a shower when I walk out of the place it's so slimy. I have been in this dealership twice. The first time to buy a new car. The deal was so bad I stood up and walked out. I ultimately did the same transaction with Honda of New Port Richie for over $10k less than Wesley Chapel Honda's initial offer. Two weeks ago I sold them a car and that's really the reason for this review. I was reluctant to go in based on how long it took to wash the slime off from my previous visit but it was a Honda I was selling so I figured the Honda dealer was the place to go. I put on my biohazard suit, walked in and we quickly came to agreement on price. I was hopeful but, it turns out it was all down hill from there. Issue one: They wanted me to sign over the title and give them the car with no bill of sale and no payment. I was supposed to take their word for it that they would get me a check "No later than Wednesday and probably by Monday." It was Saturday. Their position was that their internal check request document was proof that I would get paid the agreed to amount. I told them this was not acceptable. This resulted in over half an hour of waiting around for them to come up with a solution. Their solution is actually issue 2. The slime was up to my knees at this point. Issue two: They told me that I could keep the title and the car until they had a check I just need to sign their agreements. This whole thing probably goes from slimy to illegal at this point. They offered up a power of attorney, a title request form and a title transfer form. Basically everything you would need to sell a car if you didn't have a title. The end result would be exactly the same as if I had signed the title over to them they were just trying to burry it in paperwork. At this point I had decided that a company the size of Lithia wouldn't risk their reputation on a $5000 transaction so I went ahead without pointing out that I knew exactly what they were doing. Shame on me. I was now swimming in slime! Issue three: The transaction was on a Saturday. Remember the promise that they would have a check to me "No later than Wednesday and probably Monday". No problem here. The problem was when I showed up a week later, 4 days after the "No later than..." date. After waiting around for over half an hour the sales rep told me they didn't have a check and offered no explanation as to why. He did assure me that I would have it "No later than Monday". That sounded familiar. I don't know if the issue was incompetence, he hadn't done his paperwork, or dishonestly, he knew it would take over a week and lied. Either way it's unacceptable to set expectation so far off. God forbid they do this to someone that actually needs the money in the timeline they committed to!!! The slime had now formed a title wave that I couldn't escape. Issue four: I received the canned email from the general manager thanking me for my business and offering his help in anything I needed. Remember, they haven't actually paid me for the car that they have had for 9 days at this point. I responded to that e-mail with a brief (unlike this review) description of the issue. I have yet to hear back from him. Clearly he cares as much about his customers as his sales reps do or... Maybe the slime tidal wave swallowed him, his employees and the whole dealership. We can always hope! I did finally get a check from them 10 days after they took possession of the car. It's not the time that I have an issue with, it's the lies. These guys clearly have no integrity. They lied about the timing. They lied about what papers I was signing. There was even a second sales rep that answered the phone and lied to cover for the lies of the original rep. There is clearly a culture of deception and dishonesty at this business. You could easily do better at any other dealer in the bay area. If you do go in be prepared for the slime!!! read more

Update to my previous review: The Business manager replied to my comment making it seem like it was a shortage on parts, which caused an increase in price. I can assure you my experience was about the service, not the price of the goods. I was told word for word: "We are unable to give you a part number because if I give it to you, then you will buy it somewhere else and I won't be able to feed my family". The manager came out in support of his comments. Respectfully, that's not my problem as a customer. If the part workers are in that much of a position to not feed their family, then that's just an even more accurate representation of the business and how little they pay their employees. They were pushing this one vehicle and claim it was the only car that would be the best deal. Bullshit!! They obviously wanted to get rid of this particular vehicle! I'm thinking as soon as it's driven off the lot it will completely fall apart and getting anyone from the dealership to acknowledge and rectify a problem will be a monumental task by reading other reviews! Do yourself a favor and stay away! Maybe in a few months they'll have an entire new staff with a more willing attitude to give a first time new buyer a palatable deal!! read more
