After a little bit, we received a phone call giving the update and any advice for needed work. No one tried to up sell or was pushy. Soon we were back to pick it up. They did a great job. They talk at you and never look you in your eyes!! We said we would not purchase another vehicle from Jim Browne, but three years later we went in for our finale oil change on our Compass and saw a Gray Jeep Grand Cherokee and we had the new vehicle fever!! Now we met Larry and his son Caleb and we was amazed at the offer they worked for us , so we brought the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee ! So now it's time for servicing our vehicle and we thought maybe things had changed in the service dept , it hasn't at least not for us ! The service manager has a very nasty attitude towards us and so did the gentlemen that serviced our vehicle on 6-27-26 , first he walked up to us didn't ask us anything, just started to open our door for us to get out ! I thought here we go again!! When service was completed he came to the waiting room and said your car is ready and walked away before we could get out of our seats! When we got to his desk steal very cold intolerant attitude!! He never went over what was done to our vehicle, we read the paperwork he gave us and we had asked about a recall regarding emissions control and safety, that asked him to fix , nothing was done for that recall ! Then my husband asked about our bright lights going off and on , this person got mad and he was not going to do that we would either wait there until he found the time! The way we were treated let's us know one thing , that our problems came from the service department's inability to honestly approach each customer without being bias attitude, we are all equal and want the same thing in life, that's to be treated with kindness and respect, nothing more! Because of this we will never buy another vehicle from Jim Browne ever again in this lifetime!! I'm sure another dealership will be glad to get our business!!!

Throughout our interaction, he was unable to communicate clearly or maintain a professional demeanor, even failing to make eye contact during our conversation. Effective leadership is essential to a positive car-buying experience, and unfortunately, the management here does not meet those standards. If you are looking for a transparent and respectful environment to purchase a vehicle, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

While my wife and I were considering purchasing a Nissan, (and we were not in the market right at that moment), one salesman quickly became two, and the two then became THREE, all ganging up on me, all acting like they were my new best friends, saying "We really would like to see you in a new car.," flattering me and trying to charm me into giving them a yes, all while they were trying to pit me against my wife. A TOTAL TURNOFF. I don't need three people trying to convince me to make a purchase, especially threeA desperate sales people. (I say this from he point of view of having been in sales myself, so I knew their game.) But the service department was even worse. On two separate occasions, they attempted to bully her into getting additional, very expensive service that her car did not need. She was very suspicious because they were very pushy about it, so she took her care for a second opinion at Complete Automotive, a company that has a superior rating with Yelp and will not offer a service that a car does not need. They agreed that Maus was playing games with her. On another occasion, my wife wanted one thing done for service that only an authorized dealership would be able to do. I don't know exactly what was involved in it, but while doing their work, they came up with a list of numerous additional items that they said needed to be serviced, totalling around $6000. When she refused, the woman working with her became snide and pushy, and gave he an entire list of all that needed to be done, then insisted that my wife sign each item stating that she was refusing the service, WORSE, the woman told her that they would not return my wife's keys until she signed the papers. YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! The commercials make the owner of this dealership look like the nice guy next door, but it all starts at the top. We noticed this type of behavior at BOTH of their stores, one in Brooksville the other in Pasco County. If he has true integrity (which I doubt), he would fire EVERYONE at his stores, from sales managers, to sales, to service managers and service workers and start from scratch. It would be great business decision and good for PR, but when has this dealership ever had integrity? STAY AWAY FROM MAUS!
