He was not sent to the ER, no urgent action was taken, and the prescriptions he was told he would receive were never sent in--all right before a long holiday weekend. Within days, my husband required multiple emergency surgeries to save his life. This is something no family should have to experience, especially when clear signs of a serious infection were present. What has been even more distressing is the complete lack of communication afterward. Despite reaching out for answers, no one from the office--including the manager or the provider--returned our calls. The silence has been devastating and unprofessional. My family is grateful he survived and he is not out of the woods yet, but the outcome could have been far worse. I hope sharing this prevents another family from going through the same trauma.
