Despite having cheap breakfast, the overpriced coffee came out burnt and looking as awful as it tasted. Although it looked appealing the food and drink menu was a let down. There was only two New York themed cocktails on the menu, no American beer, and the food was average although fairly cheap. The staff also ignored us but didn't look busy. I couldn't work out if Short Order was supposed to be a bar or restaurant as it was hard to enjoy a moment with rowdy clientele. It appeared to be their local. There is definitely an identity crisis that needs to be fixed and a better menu in order for me to come back again.
