Luckily for me, a friend had recommended a mechanic who specializes in Subarus. He had repaired my front wheel bearings about a year ago. He checked and indeed my wheel bearings were just fine. He didn't charge me a dime for his time! He also explained how the industry is fraught with putting the almighty dollar ahead of customers. I could have been out $700. I would think twice before going to Mt. Vernon Road Tire!!!
