Last night I had a blow out after 10pm on I-80. I called 911 to ask if the Highway Helpers could assist me because I didn't know I was without a spare or tire jack & to add to my current situation the Hwy Helpers had all gone home at 9am & wouldn't be on till 5am. Which come 7am when they finally showed up I was told there was nothing they could do but to drop me off somewhere. That's when I came into contact with Noel Automotive & its owner. The owner was a very kind & understanding person, nevermind that he was the owner. He took me back to my vehicle helped me get it off the interstate & back to his shop where he put another tire on at a very unexpected cost to me, which I did NOT expect & wanted to give more but he refused. He did say he tries to help those he can when he can & as long as it doesn't put his life in danger, which I get that but I guess I just happen to be at the right place at the right time as well as one of those people he was able to help in my time of need. For me he was my saving grace & guardian Angel that I needed at that moment & for that I'll be forever grateful to him. People like that just don't exist anymore or u just don't come across them very often. But I was lucky enough to find a good & understanding person in a time when it seems so many people are struggling financially, such as myself & when I most needed the help. So if u happen to find yourself in the West Branch, Iowa area & in the unfortunate & unwelcome position of any kind of car problem I'm telling u now...GO TO NOEL AUTOMOTIVE. I promise u won't regret it!! Oh & just an fyi should u EVER have any problems on an interstate either a company will NOT take the risk on helping u at all or if they do (ex. towing companies) the prices will be outrageous. So I'd advise getting off the interstate if that's possible. read more

These good people know cars. We drive some older vehicles and they are great about working on them too. Great communication, thorough , timely, reasonable cost. They stood up for us with their supplier after the part failed, so we got the second replacement part free. One year warranty on labor too. Nothing against the other fine mechanics in town-these folks truly do it all, exceptionally well. Plus, they rebuild older classic cars. The Best. read more

Noel Automotive saved my weekend and helped me keep my move across the country on schedule! Keith is great mechanic and came in on a Saturday to fix my 4Runner. The best part about it was that he took the time to explain to me what was going on with the belts and taught me how to adjust the tension on them just in case I needed to do it on my trip. highly recommend! So helpful! I got stuck 2 hours away from home, and 2 hours left on the drive. Everyone there from getting towed to the front desk to the mechanic were helpful and understanding!! I have a very crappy car that I'm just trying to get another year out of and they were understanding and not trying to force me to do repairs.
