I went to Ivey's to get a front end alignment on my Ram 3500 DRW truck and was told I needed to…read morereplace the upper and lower ball joints then do the alignment. The truck had approximately 52K on it but they said that's the normal range for Ram ball joints to wear out. Based on their feedback I approved the work to be done. They installed aftermarket parts and when I drove the truck home it was difficult to maintain my travel lane. I took it back to Ivey's and was told this was normal during the "break in period". After 500 miles the truck was still acting the same so I took it to another shop and was told I needed OEM ball joints to solve the problem. Once the OEM ball joints were installed my truck handles perfect again! Ivey's are supposed to be the experts but I feel like I was sold a$1,200 dollar bill of goods that wasn't really needed. I will not go there again.
