During the lavender season, the tickets are a bit pricey alongside parking. The farm itself has numerous activities to do, picturesque moments, and different foods to try. My fiancé and I have attended the lavender festival three times already, so we knew what to expect. We avoided the foods we didn't enjoy last time, and tried new items. We ordered their carne asada tacos, croissant beignets, their peach sangria, and more. If you're planning to come here, I'd suggest eating beforehand, because the food is not good. Their tacos are dry; the meat and the tortilla feel like separate entities. Their croissant beignets on the other hand were absolutely phenomenal. It's exactly what you'd expect and it was amazing! Their drinks are good here, too. I had their lavender margarita which was absolutely perfect. Their peach sangria can be better. They sold bunches of lavender in their gift stores and you had opportunities to take photos with their lavender in the fields. It was a unique experience overall away from your usual city life. I don't think I'll come back again. I've been three times enough, and it's generally the same. I'd recommend trying it once to see what it's like, and that's all.

Many events for the holidays take place at 123 Farms and this summer holds space for the beautiful lavender field and activities! The signs leading to the location were easy to find and you can either purchase your tickets online, or at the gate before you enter the festival. I loved the food, as they really try to incorporate lavender into their items, such as lavender honey, ice cream, pizza, and even a smash burger! Although nothing tasted as strong as I expected, the food was worth a try! I ended up splitting a lot of it with my friends so we could try different things. Our favorite item had to be the pepperoni and ricotta sourdough pizza! It was amazing! I'd pass on the sourdough mini donuts. Some of my first timer tips: The petting zoo ends at 5pm, so make sure to visit early if you plan on going! Go on the tractor ride when it's cooler, as my friends and I were struggling to keep cool on the ride since it's summer. And be prepared to pay for the tractor ride as it is $8 a person. Bring a fan or hat, and sunscreen! I personally don't recommend wearing sandals because there's many dirt areas and fire ants in the lavender fields! All in all, I had such fun filled day here at 123 Farm. They did a really fabulous job with the decorations and food which truly felt like a festival that didn't run you for your money. The Good: Parking Logistics: The parking lot has been moved closer to the flower fields this year, which is a massive upgrade in convenience compared to previous years. The Atmosphere & Maze: The farm decorations are beautiful, especially the purple cloths hung between the rows of large trees that catch the wind. Our kids also thoroughly enjoyed the Lavender Pallet Maze. It features a fun True/False lavender trivia game inside that kept our son engaged enough to want to do it twice. The Petting Zoo: The animals were quite active (bunnies, a Polish chicken, goats, and a very soft alpaca). It's a nice stop for kids, though parents of timid children should watch out as the little goats can be a bit pushy! The Disappointing: Over-Commercialization: There are massive lighting setups in the flower fields now. It feels like there is too much human intervention, and the lavender didn't look as healthy or vibrant as it did during our first visit. Additionally, most of the fields were already harvested and cut flat. I don't think there will be much of bloom later in the month. Food & Pricing Downgrades: We ordered the Lavender Smash Burger and Lavender Carne Asada Fries. The burger patty was overly salty and the fries lacked crispiness. Two years ago, the specialty drinks (Strawberry Lavender Lemonade and Iced Tea) came with a fresh sprig of lavender. This year, there was no garnish at all. The prices have gone up, but the experience feels stripped down. The "No Water" Policy: The farm is incredibly dry and dusty. Selling lemonade here must be an absolute goldmine because they do not provide water. When my husband went around to the stands to ask for water or extra ice cups, he was told no stand has water, and a cashier literally rolled her eyes at him. Word of advice: Bring plenty of your own water and leave it in the car! The "Free" Kids' Craft: The advertised free craft was a huge letdown. It was just basic coloring pages on postcards with zero staff guidance. The actual interactive crafts require an extra fee, which felt cheap considering the high price of admission. The nearby games were also poorly maintained--the foosball table was so old and broken that it used a ping-pong ball that the soccer men couldn't even hit. Tips for Parents: Check the daily schedule carefully before lounging around! We mistakenly thought crafts started in the evening, but weekend activities actually start at 1:00 PM. Overall, it's still a decent day trip for photos, but bring your own hydration, manage your expectations on the food, and be prepared for a very commercialized experience.

It's a good idea is buy parking ahead of time or you will be forced to park in the residential area. The farm is huge and everything is spread out, so expect a lot of walking. You are given a map of the festival. It can be a little hard to follow since not everything is cleared labeled outside the map. The farm has designated areas, such as the shops, food, and activities. Everything is on theme of lavender: food, drinks, and merch. Some that stood out to me is the matcha room, flower market, the blacksmith shop, and a coffee shop. There is 123 merch at some shops and local vendors selling their art work. Theres vendors selling candies, crochet, book marks, crystals, etc. Although the festival entry is at 5, most shops and vendors do not open until 6. Through the farm, there are workers around. However, some can be unfriendly. There are bathrooms and no porta potties! In the food area, there is pizza, sandwiches, carne asada fries, bbq. I ordered from the grill and got a steak sandwich (minus the bread) and they were very accommodating. I received a buzzer and my order did not take long. Dessert, there is ice cream, funnel cake, cheesecake, pies. There are a ton of beverage options besides coffee and matcha, like lemonade and alcohol. There is a stage for live music and lots of seating for eating. Music acts are listed online and on the map. There alot of spots for photo ops and there is also a Photo Booth! It's a beautiful outdoor event spread out with lots of walking amongst the artist tents. There's a quaint pond in the center, food truck area with some limited seating, clean VIP trailer restrooms, and beverage and snack tucked away all around the area. Tip- wear a hat, sunscreen and comfy shoes. You'll be outside the entire time, walking mostly on grass and some pavement. But let's get to the fabulous array of artists! You'll encounter the artists themselves and most seem to enjoy sharing their stories and talking about their passion. Fabulous jewelry, paintings, sculptures as well as clothing and accessories. You feel so inspired and in awe as you peruse the event. Most artisans were from the Pacific coast but I noticed some from as far as Florida and New Orleans. Paid parking in the civic center gravel lot made it easy to get right in, and plenty of volunteers to guide you throughout the event. When making a purchase you are given a ticket to turn in before leaving to curtail theft. I loved this event and hope to come back someday!
