During the summer it does die down a little as the heat is a major factor. Some vendors do take a break as well. But with summer ending, the place is starting to pick up again. Vendors are returning and the fest is starting to come alive again. It's nice to walk along the boulevard with restaurants opening back up from summer break. The students are back with their band serenading bystanders walking by. A nice little treat while shopping the vendors. Even though it's still hot, it's way more manageable than the heart of summer. You still have the food section to one side which I feel like there was more this time compared to the past month. Majority of the vendors are regulars as they're always at the same spot. A fun little break on a Thursday night to check out. Grab dinner along the boulevard or cocktails at any of the restaurants. But if you want to try the vendors, there's loads to choose from. Asians, Mexican, BBQ, sushi and so on. A good selection to choose from.

The food options are fun and out of the ordinary. We enjoyed the lavender lemonade, carnitas tacos, and "lavender" sourdough mini donuts. I'd say the sourdough over-powered the lavender in the donut but the flavors of cinnamon and lemon were excellent. Note- wear appropriate shoes, this is an outdoor farm atmosphere you'll walk a lot and much of the terrain is uneven and has wood chips. There is a small tractor tour that looks cute, we didn't ride. We walked all through the place. As the night falls, the decorative lights begin to illuminate the gardens and paths making it beautiful and romantic. Highly recommended for any group of friends, a couple or family (maybe not small kids... as it's a lot of walking and not my idea of stroller friendly)

Everything is pretty good, I would recommend splitting with someone. There is also live music and lots of lights to check out. We thought that the first staff members we approached could have been more informative and welcoming, but no biggie. We came for the lavender festival (paid $77.90 with VIP parking). The scent of lavender wafting through the back patio was serene. The lavender fields offered scenic photo opportunities as well. The lavender themed cocktails were delicious. Pricey (paid $40+ w/tip for 2 drinks), but damn good. The matcha room offered high quality tea with balanced flavors (~$12+ w/tip). We loved the little shops offering unique items. The crafting area had engaging crafts; each station was about $8. We decided to make bookmarks using dried flowers. Staff at the crafting area were friendly and helpful. We also booked high tea. We loved that it was located at their back patio. There was a nice breeze and a good view of the lavender fields. Personally, I thought there was too much foot traffic during tea but other people in my party didn't mind. Our waitress was friendly, but a tad slow and unfortunately brought out the wrong tea. Overall, the food was good. We loved the curry sandwich the most along with a few of the desserts. The lemon poppy was fantastic! We paid $201 for this experience.

The festival is a great spot for everyone! It is located in a residential area, with it also being…read morerural. Tickets are parking are bought online. Once at the entrance, you are scan your ticket and parking with a parking attendant. There is parking available on site, depending on the day and whether it is sold out. It's a good idea is buy parking ahead of time or you will be forced to park in the residential area. The farm is huge and everything is spread out, so expect a lot of walking. You are given a map of the festival. It can be a little hard to follow since not everything is cleared labeled outside the map. The farm has designated areas, such as the shops, food, and activities. Everything is on theme of lavender: food, drinks, and merch. Some that stood out to me is the matcha room, flower market, the blacksmith shop, and a coffee shop. There is 123 merch at some shops and local vendors selling their art work. Theres vendors selling candies, crochet, book marks, crystals, etc. Although the festival entry is at 5, most shops and vendors do not open until 6. Through the farm, there are workers around. However, some can be unfriendly. There are bathrooms and no porta potties! In the food area, there is pizza, sandwiches, carne asada fries, bbq. I ordered from the grill and got a steak sandwich (minus the bread) and they were very accommodating. I received a buzzer and my order did not take long. Dessert, there is ice cream, funnel cake, cheesecake, pies. There are a ton of beverage options besides coffee and matcha, like lemonade and alcohol. There is a stage for live music and lots of seating for eating. Music acts are listed online and on the map. There alot of spots for photo ops and there is also a Photo Booth! Such a great place, I've been to events at the 123 farm and I always enjoy it.

It's a beautiful outdoor event spread out with lots of walking amongst the artist tents. There's a quaint pond in the center, food truck area with some limited seating, clean VIP trailer restrooms, and beverage and snack tucked away all around the area. Tip- wear a hat, sunscreen and comfy shoes. You'll be outside the entire time, walking mostly on grass and some pavement. But let's get to the fabulous array of artists! You'll encounter the artists themselves and most seem to enjoy sharing their stories and talking about their passion. Fabulous jewelry, paintings, sculptures as well as clothing and accessories. You feel so inspired and in awe as you peruse the event. Most artisans were from the Pacific coast but I noticed some from as far as Florida and New Orleans. Paid parking in the civic center gravel lot made it easy to get right in, and plenty of volunteers to guide you throughout the event. When making a purchase you are given a ticket to turn in before leaving to curtail theft. I loved this event and hope to come back someday!
