Words cannot describe how much I love this place. I've been a total of 4 times, and still have not got to see/do everything I wanted to. Not only is it a cute festival, but lately they've been introducing little events that makes it even that much more magical. This year, I went to Tapas Night and the food along with the ambiance made me felt as though I was in Spain! Theres so much to see, so many lovely photo op areas, AMAZING sourdough EVERYTHING, and just simply a good vibe. I personally enjoy the live music they have in the food/dining area. All the foods I've tried, along with drinks have been so well crafted and worth the money. If you're a fan of sourdough, lavender and florals, this place is going to feel like heaven! My husband surprised me with a trip to the Lavender Festival at 123 Farms for my birthday after a friend recommended it, and it was such a sweet and memorable experience. The farm is beautiful, especially around sunset when the light hits the lavender fields just right. It made for such a peaceful and scenic evening -- definitely one of the highlights of the day. There were a lot of cute vendor booths with lavender-themed products, and we enjoyed wandering through the market. I had the lavender lemonade and picked up a few small gifts and treats to take home. Hated the lavender festival. First off parking was crazy. $25 to park in a mostly empty dirt field. I had to change my shoes so they didn't get covered in dirt. There's no other option for parking because they have such a long driveway that no one will walk through it. We went for the food and that was very disappointing as well. We ordered a chicken sandwich and some lavender steak fries and a mini cheese pizza. Everything was super over priced and extremely bland. Chicken had zero flavor to it. The fries had lavender sauce which didn't taste right with fries. The pizza was decent, but one cup of "lavender ranch" was $4 for half a cup. I don't know what else people come here for. Sure there's lavender trees or plants or whatever everywhere and some random art but the price was not justified with the entry and parking fees. read more

Coming from LA, it's a far trek especially when it's mostly sitting through traffic. I tried to keep expectations down because instagram photos seems they have been altered or photoshopped. The fields were smaller than I imagined but you can get a few good shots esp during the golden hour. Everything seems to be $20, from entrance ticket, parking, burger, pizza, drinks, dessert, and souvenirs. Everything has a hint of lavender although quite honestly I don't really taste it in the food other than the lavender ice cream (tasty but overpriced). At least they claim it's organic. Most of the workers are high school students working a summer job. Between 4 persons we spent almost $300 bucks, I'll probably save up more money to go to Disneyland instead. I am obsessed with this lavender festival. The 123 farms is such a beautiful property and they grow an array of different plants and botanicals. The lavender and bloom is so magical. Also, the entertainment and food and drinks are top-notch. I had a lavender whiskey sour, my mom had a lavender lemonade, and we each had delicious pizza, lavender ice cream, and lavender donuts. I loved hearing about how essential oils are made right there on the property! Be sure you go over to where the old hotel is to find dozens of little shops, galleries, restaurants, wine, bar, coffee, bar, etc. They have everything. You'll definitely be leaving with something. I've been twice with my mom and plan on going again. But go in late June or July when the lavender is in full bloom. This is one of my favorite places to go! read more

I feel, the lavender haze creeping up on me! Surreal, trying to taste everything that people make! I just wanna stay, in this lavender haze! If you enjoy most things lavender then this is something worth checking out. Before I write on about this experience, it's not a fair where they have rides or a lavender climbing contest! Just drinks and food infused specialties plus a variety of other items you'll find enjoyable. I'm not going to run down everything because that would take a lot of space. But I can tell you that they have a wine and tapas bar, tea house and little shops where they sell little knick knacks. I would recommend coming real early to line up plus pace yourself because I made the mistake of trying to eat and drink within the hour! No!!! Plenty of shaded areas to eat and sit and a live band is in effect! Photo op spots are scattered throughout the space. If you don't want to pay for parking, again come early but you have to walk up a little fat to get there. But seriously, I recommend you checking it out for yourself or with a group. I had so much with my cousin! We wanted to get there early to avoid the traffic and good thing we did since everyone decided to come early as well. Parking was easy and we parked right by the entrance since we bought the parking ticket. Keep in mind, it was summer and it was hot! We got a few pictures with the lavender field since barely anyone was around us. We got to explore the whole area, eat yummy food, tried the lavender lemonade and just vibed. Everyone was very friendly and lots of photo opportunities. For the tractor ride, you do have to pay separately. Also there's only one tractor so it can be a wait. I think we waited about 30 minutes to get on the ride. Don't forget to try their food and also visit the gift shop. I'd def come back to this place! read more

We had a good time at the Lavender Festival. I'd been wanting to go for years so I was glad to attend this year. It wasn't overcrowded and there was plenty to see and do. Lots of food to keep our bellies full, good live music, beautiful lavender fields and fairy lights throughout the property. The bathrooms were clean (and not porto-potties...yay). There were lots of vendors in the vendor area, a class on distillery and lavender products for sale. It lived up to the hype but I expected the lavender fields to be more fragrant. Also, it was extremely difficult finding the place to get my VIP pass. For a first timer I will say the hosts were not as accommodating as I expected. I expected everyone to be friendly. Not sure if they were tired from the heat or having an off day but I didn't get that friendly feeling from the staff. They were cordial but not friendly, if that makes sense. With the VIP pass we will return for other events throughout the year like the Lavender Nights and a few other events. Parking is included with my pass and it's cool to bring a guest, get a free dessert, and drink; and 10% off products in the store. Even though it was a bit different than I expected, I still recommend it to others. It was nice to be in nature and see other families and even couples. There were quite a few people there but the grounds are open and airy so it didn't bother us too much. Went on a pretty hot day and most of the little shops have no ac. I purchased my admission ticket and parking pass on line . I had been wanting to attend the festival for years and finally made it -yay! I love lavender and everything about it . The lavender festival has everything lavender (including non-lavender food/drinks ) for those who don't. I tried the barbecue lavender brisket with potatoes and asparagus it was very good (the sauce had a nice hint of lavender) . I had the unsweetened lavender ice tea I really tasted lavender in the tea (I enjoyed it) for dessert I tried the dark chocolate lavender brownie and soft serve lavender and vanilla ice cream (delicious) There are a variety of lavender shops for shopping, boutiques, including a bar inside the building, tea room, cute bungalow food stations that sell the same. There are tractor rides , mazes, outdoor entertainment, cute seating areas some with chandeliers and cute photo areas for Instagram type photos. This is a family event, but there were couples and groups of friends who attended the festival. There is something for everyone here at the festival. I would attend again. read more

Parking inside is charges from $15-$20 it's worth it if you have kids and strollers. If you want the cardio then free parking is good. Top items the lavender margarita and the funnel cake! I'm late to reviewing since we went back in July this year. But the Lavender Festival was so much fun! The food and drinks are really super good. If you love the taste of lavender, you'd want to try everything on their menu. The Greek Gryo and spiked lavender lemonade was Heaven. The setup is so cute around the lavender farm and is a great outing with friends or a romantic date. Be prepared to spend money because they have gifts galore where you can buy essential oils, flavored honey, flavored olive oil, tea, beauty products, kitchen ware, etc. Also, the best time to go would be NOT on a windy and hot day. Everything is set outside, and the wind did not mess around with sweeping dirt into our eyes when it had a chance. And it was overcast early afternoon but once the sun came out and hit 95°, we couldn't stand it anymore and left soon afterwards. read more

We had a nice time at the festival. I never knew about this until I saw a random billboard while driving down to San Diego. Who knew! Their website really recommends buying advanced tickets online, otherwise price of admission is $3 more at the door...but one thing I did notice was the online convenience fee tacked on there. Parking pass was $10, but with the online fee, it was $12 something... Anyway, I really recommend arriving around 9:50ish or as close to opening as possible. Much cooler temps and fewer people in the fields for photo ops if those kinds of things are important to you. We did a few photos, explored the fields a bit, grabbed a lavender laced lemonade and sat down in the shade to wait for the distillery demo. The girl (forgot her name) was very lively and gave us a bit of insight of her day to day working on the farm. Let's talk about the food: both bbq chicken and fig & goat cheese sourdough pizzas were delicious. Hot and fresh from the wood stove, delicious flavors 10/10. The lavender chicken sandwich had a ton of marinated chicken but I couldn't taste the lavender essence. Lavender lemon bars were a good shareable size but very faint lavender flavor, and was extremely sweet in general. Lavender honey ice cream was yummy and everything it promised to be, but strawberry lavender ice cream for some reason melted way faster than the other one and had a really artificially sweet strawberry flavor. They had tons of lavender gift items, of which I bought a bunch of sachets and a body oil that sounds great for applying before bed. Overall, fun little family excursion that seems to be well organized and run. I'm looking forward to coming back during the holiday months for their other festivals. read more

I found out about this event while browsing through yelp. It seemed like a fun place to do a day trip to. Prices to get in is actually pretty pricey. It's about $19 per person (online only saves you 40 cents with the processing fee) and $10 to park. Make sure to pay for parking there because if you buy it online it charges you the convenience fee which is stupid. The bill is already adding up and this is all before food, drinks, and goods are bought. This is why I knocked it down a star. You technically could park on the street and walk in but they have workers sitting by the entrances preventing that. They don't allow any pets. They have signs all over the place reminding you. You enter by car and everything is taken care of at the entrance. Otherwise, I had a good time spending my day there. There are lavender fields that you can take pics in so make sure to dress the part! I also recommend shoes because its still a farm so you're walking on dirt paths most of the time. The smell of lavender is very present when you step out of the car and it was beautiful. The farm is very big and you can definitely spend the whole day there. I purchased a lavender infused syrup ($12) which I thought was the most worth it item that is actually a product of 123 farms lavender. There are a lot of merchants selling lavender infused items, along with other types of trinkets, and of course lavender food! I was able to try the lavender and fig pizza, lavender beef sandwich, lavender mojito, and the blueberry lavender cream ale. Everything was delicious!!! The pizza is a must! The crust is fresh and chewy and the flavors were amazing. It was sweet from the fig and creamy from the goat cheese. The lavender added a refreshing element to the pizza. The mojito was sweet and delicious. I also enjoyed the lavender blueberry ale as well. I mostly tasted blueberry but it was still delicious. The beef sandwich had a lot of meat and was good but I did not taste any lavender. I was also able to try the lavender earl grey tea ice cream and lavender coffee and you can definitely taste the lavender in those items. Overall, I do recommend this place if you're willing to spend the entrance fee. I didn't think it justified the $19 entrance fee per person and felt like it was worth more like $10. There's a lot of merchants, picture opportunities, and things to just look around. There weren't any wagon rides and I doubt it'll be fixed by the end of month (July) which is when this festival ends. Even with all the negatives it is still a nice place to spend the day. read more

Lavender lovers, listen up! If you're itching for a fun summer activity, then look no further than the Lavender Festival. Located at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn, this festival features all things lavender from 123 Farm, and I mean, ALL things. The farm is beautiful and has so much to see and explore. My fiance and I made a day trip out of this and had such a lovely time, I wish I could go back already. Lavender season lasts from May until the end of July. We went during Memorial Day weekend and I'd say around 80 percent of the lavender was in bloom. I'd recommend going a little later in June or July if you really want to see the full bloom, but overall, the fields were still beautiful and incredibly fragrant. There are so many great photo opps around the grounds, everything was so thoughtfully decorated. In addition to the fields, there was a lavender-themed food court and cocktail bar, tea room, organic gallery, flower market, petting zoo and a free tractor tour. We spent around 3.5 hours here, just enjoying and exploring everything the festival had to offer. But let's talk about the best part: the food and drinks. My fiance and I definitely consumed our fair share of lavender themed items including organic lavender honey ice cream, lavender chicken gyro, lavender beef sandwich and a giant lavender cream puff. For drinks, we enjoyed a lavender margarita, whiskey sour, and organic wine made from the actual farm. My only regret is not having enough room to eat everything on my list. Lavender cheesecake and funnel cake, I'll be back for you next year! For shopping, there are also plenty of opportunities to pick up a lot of cool merchandise including but not limited to honeys, jams, olive oils, salami, bath and body items, flowers and plants and much more. This was our first time and it was such a unique experience to eat, listen to live music, walk the lavender fields, see the vendors and products, and have some lavender-inspired food. The lavender lemonade had the perfect tart and sweetness with lavender hint. TLDR: had a lot of expectations and kept one entire evening but ended up leaving in 30 mins and felt robbed of the experience because most exhibits were unavailable. This is 30-45 mins drive from PS. But tickets online as they're higher in $ at the gate. Parking fee is separate. Street Parking is usually never available given they have residents in and nearby. We went in during a national holiday weekend when it was soaring hot and were half depleted as soon as we stepped out because of the heat. Parking on two sides surrounds the very tiny food court which has almost no vegan and limited vegetarian options. So vegans, eat up before u go. There's lavender lemonade stand and bar, both are priced $$ but mediocre at best. Pizza stall makes wood fired pizzas heavy on the dough and frankly not my kind. We had asked for separate marinara sauce on the side and were told yes, but later denied for random reasons. If you don't have dietary restrictions like us, the bbq burger, dessert stand, and noodle bar are other options. We also tried the chocolate lavender ice cream which tasted like milk. The organic gallery area is supposed to have churro carts and tiki bars which were both unavailable the day we went in. So were the wine tours and the tractor rides. This was such a fun festival to go to! The farm has membership options you can purchase if you decide you want to come pack throughout the year to the other festivals. They had lots of yummy food and drink options. I had the lavender smoked brisket. It was divine. One thing I didn't love, was a lot of the staff working in the food/drink stands weren't very friendly. We bought the membership and are looking forward to the other festivals! My daughter and I got the chance to visit Lavender Festival at 123 Farm again this year on July 10th. We were here on July 4th last year. I am considering a yearly membership... we'll see. We got here shortly after 11:00 AM and main parking lot was already full. We barely squeezed into the last parking space. They do have more parking adjacent to the main parking. The lavender fields were a joy and blissful to see and walk through. I love lavender and the smell of them and the bees that swarm around them. The key is to touch the lavender with your fingers and hand... give them a little squeeze and pull in towards your body... you'll get a good whiff of lavender, but you'll have to smell your fingers and hand though LOL. There are different types of lavender and different shades of the lavender color, too. There's also green minty lavender. Just wonderful!!! They had some vendors selling goodies. We bought some chamoy gummies basically sweet and spicy sauce glazed over gummies... not too bad, can be spicy. We also got some dried dates, banana chips, other chile-limon fruits, and pistachios. I didn't buy any honey this year since I recently bought some honey from Savannah Bee Company in Sedona, AZ. The flower marketplace does have tons of goodies. Do check them out! We ordered the loaded asada fries and honey lavender ice cream... came out to be about $22. Fries were very good... tons of beef and stuff. Ice cream was okay actually... I was hoping for more lavender flavor. They also had a live performer playing the guitar in acoustic style. He played that guitar and sang for about an hour+ without taking a break... kudos to him. Yeah, it was fun listening to the music. We had a good time and the weather was nice especially under the shade with some wind breezing by, but it did get warmer to 102ish later in the day. We caught the tail end of this year's lavender festival by coming out today! Took us 2+ hours to drive from the coast. $10 parking on site. We bought advance tickets online for $15 per adult. Kids 5 and under are free! Ordered food there, including cheesecake, Greek salad, asada fries, beef brisket sandwich. Cheesecake was the best. Ventured out to the remaining lavender field, took lots of photos and smelled the wonderful fragrance. So tranquil, so relaxing in the shade. Good thing it wasn't scorching hot even though we came around noon-ish. It was an expensive outing but we had a good time strolling through the venue. read more

Food was amazing along with the drinks. 3.5 hours still wasn't enough time to see everything and try all that I wanted to try. I ran to grab cotton candy and it was shut down by 10pm, closing time. Absolutely loved this festival. Went with my 2 year old son. He loved the openness and atmosphere. They had live music & lots of food/drink options. We had the Lavender Burger with the garlic fries. To wash it down with a Lavender Paloma & Lavender Margarita. We were just wow'd by this place. It had a lot of photo opportunities on this beautiful farm. They have farm dogs that are friendly roaming. I recommend not disturbing them unless they approach you. This place looked very clean. Staff was friendly and maintained the premises very well. We bought some Lavender Room Spray for our bedroom that we are obsessed with. It smells amazing. I also purchased a weighed lavender eye mask. I bought my mother since she likes to garden lollipops that you eat and then plant in soil. They have lots of fun things to buy at their gift shops. There's something for everyone. (non lavender food available) -shopping! many different markets indoor and outdoor were available with lots of lavender products - great for gifts! including separate stores for bread, nearby national forest items, etc.) -lavender tea room -other permanent vendors to shop through -sheep maze (no real sheep) games and mazes -petting zoo!!!! this was small but so fun as you can pet and get close! -live music -wagon ride -1000 year old oak tree -lavender distillation demos (about an hour long - come and go as you please) -and of course the gorgeous lavender fields for photo ops! So much fun!! We had the best Girls Day Out! Shopping, eating, pics & more shopping in a super cute and relaxing atmosphere! The relaxing part is due partly to the intoxicating lavender aroma in the whole area and it's super cute and kinda girly romantic ambiance. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot of walking on rocky/dirt paths, even when around the food area. There are a few cement paths but mostly dirt. I had on flats and they got scratched up a bit. Definitely no flip flops as it will be hard to walk around, my friend can attest to that. As you drive in, you can either show your prepaid tickets/parking or pay both at the door when entering the premises. The pricing is about the same for admission ($19) with a small savings if booked in advance. Parking is onsite only for $10. There are so many small nook and cranny areas for pictures, it is super cute. Lots of small thoughtful touches. You'll find a cute fancy sofa & chandelier or flower frame set up here and there. We were there for almost 6 hours, we took our time and sat when needed. Lots of shopping areas were available, indoors and outdoors. Most of the outdoor shopping was covered. They have lavender aromatherapy everything, including lip balms, lotions, face toners, scent sachets, sprays and household items. One of my favorite areas was in the Black Bench wines where they had the flavored vinegars & olive oils. The Lavender fields are so pretty, I could stay there all day! There are different varieties of lavender and they look different! There are 2 separate fields. There is also a sample garden with over 100 varieties! Also, there are bees in the field area so bring repellent as necessary. Don't forget to stop by the petting zoo! They have a cute alpaca that poses for selfies! :D FOOD COURT & BAR/TEA ROOM There's a good variety of lavender infused entrees, pizza, drinks, coffees/teas, alcoholic drinks and desserts and also non-lavender items too. Lavender Marinated Beef Sandwich - creamy horseradish, arugula, sun-dried tomato pesto, red onion on a rustic roll served with chips - the fave savory item of the group! Great flavor and a light lavender scent. Lavender Gyro - lavender chicken or steak, we chose the chicken - it was good but the beef sandwich was best! It didn't really go with the tzatziki sauce Fig & Lavender Sourdough Pizza - lavender goat cheese, dried figs, caramelized onions, arugula & herb oil - this was great! Love the play on salty & sweet! The sourdough crust was amazing! Lavender Arnold Palmer - I got it with unsweetened tea so that it wouldn't be too sweet and it was perfect! Wish it was a larger size! Loved the spig of lavender for a sweet touch! Chocolate Lavender Ice Cream - YUM! This was great especially on a warm day! It had a great lavender flavor but not overwhelming. This came prepackaged. Strawberry Lavender Ice Cream - I was craving Strawberry more than Chocolate so I ordered this and I loved the flavor! However, a few pieces of lavender flowers gave it an intense flavor when it was chewed on. There were maybe 6-7 pieces in the cup so it can be overwhelming if you don't like the floral zing. This came prepackaged. Strawberry Lavender Funnel Cake - the Funnel cake was perfection! Crispy & light! It was topped with powdered sugar, berry compote & whipped cream.
