Update: It's been…read moreabout 2 years since my initial impression of John. The relationship started out well, but more and more he became unresponsive and not detail oriented. We've received bills from other properties, emails with so many typos it's difficult to decipher, and had to make repeated requests for monthly reoccurring issues. When our renters had an issue with the kitchen faucet we had to request several times to have a plumber look at it before John agreed. We almost replaced our 1k faucet 100% under warranty for a $50 fix. For all of these reasons I would not recommend John's services. Old review: John is all about business. As a property manager he's been responsive to us and worked hard to secure a renter in just a couple of weeks. We were super happy that our unit was only vacant for 5 days, saving us a substantial amount of money. We believe John found us a good renter and they signed a lease for almost 2 years. John's management fees are also extremely reasonable. We would highly recommend John for your property management needs.

Basically we had to get a survey done on our property because we were building a new home and didn't want to build into the property lines. So the city ordered us to get a property survey done. Matt provided us with a good price and went on to explain the process of what he was going to do and gave us timelines on when it can be done. Very professional and he has a great personality. Our property didn't have any monuments and Matt had to set all of those, which were very difficult. After Matt did all of this work and submitted the survey to the county. We passed our inspection from the city. I highly recommend working with Matt.

None of these interested me until I received this agent's promotional deal offering to list homes for 1% commission. We had one meeting and 2 telephone conversations. I was clear that prior to signing I needed to sever ties with my previous agent and that this would take time due to the "relative of a relative" nature of the relationship - this is someone that could not be brushed-off like dirty laundry. Yesterday morning we made arrangements for BH to come by my home today at 11:30 to take photos. Yesterday afternoon I had the last conversation severing the tie and was planning on meeting BH when he came by to take the photos and wrap-up business. Today I received a call from BH at 9:30 to tell me that mine was one of the last deals he considered for his promotional 1% and that he would not take the listing. He said he could not do it for less than 2%. I'm sorry, but to make that statement and change at the 11th hour is unconscionable.
