In his decades of experience, this must be the scene setter that helps both him and new clients get off on the right foot. He also set me up with a lender who worked really well in the team, and understood my financial situation. I was seeking a VA loan, which the lender and Joe both researched thoroughly. He also got a good idea of the type of property I was looking for. Then after all those pieces were in motion, we could sit back and relax and look for the right property to come by! Once we found the one, it wasn't originally VA eligible, and Joe went the extra mile to get the court documentation and HOA file to the lender to ensure swift and accurate preapproval, VA filing, and finally underwriting. He did not sit back and wait for the lender to figure it all out, but actively assisted and tracked the progress of all the paperwork. Joe also worked very well with the sellers agent to translate my wishes and help me understand the sellers needs, so we came to a swift deal that met the mark on the seller's 1031 exchange. After closing, Joe even followed up on a promise to help me organize and pay for repairs that I wanted but that we left out of the negotiations to expedite the sale. I did file a claim with Homesite, and this is where all the problems started. Nicole was referred to me by a few friends from church. Nicole was great to work with. She was punctual, easy to talk to, and I really felt like she had my best interest in mind. When looking at homes together she gave good insight and advice that I never would have thought of when looking at a home (for example, the value of things; how she really recommended a garage; whether it is a good value or not, etc.) Nicole was also easy to get a hold of and would answer our phone calls or return them right away. I was very new to this real estate business, and she was very patient with explaining the terminology and processes (especially with short sales!). I think overall, I trusted Nicole and her advice and I found her to be an honest real estate agent who cared more about helping us find the right home (rather than pressuring us into buying more expensive homes). In the end, she helped us to get our house just 2.5 months after we started looking. :) She knew what our budget was and what kind of areas we were interested in and helped us with that. We currently live in a condo in NORTH PARK and we love the place!!!!!!!!!! Since then, I have referred Nicole to another friend and that friend is currently in escrow, and that friend says great things about Nicole too! I would definitely continue to refer Nicole to my other friends. Besides myself, I know 3 other friends Nicole has helped with house hunting and all have had POSITIVE experiences with her.
