I'm over the moon with this sofa. Alex was a dream to work with; even receiving fabric I ordered elsewhere and had it shipped to West Coast Modern LA. I learned so much about the innards of the sofa and what foam density is best. We are building a home and I ordered this masterpiece MONTHS before I could unwrap it due to construction delays. Alex made sure to wrap it well and get it ready to truck to me knowing that it would need to wait in our garage for a few months. Well, it, unfortunately, had to wait 9 months. Oh, the horror! I held my breath as we moved it into the house and unwrapped it. It was in pristine shape. Love! Love! Love! It is comfortable and so beautiful. Can't wait to add our coffee table (handcrafted by my hubby) -- coming soon. I will absolutely RUN back to West Coast Modern LA for any new furniture needs. Thanks so much to everyone there!!!!

Absolutely top-notch quality and customer service from Luis and his team at West Coast Modern La. We furnished our new offices with a beautiful custom sofa and two bookcases. With this project, Luis and his team really spent their time with us in choosing the right pieces for the space. I really must mention that his entire operation and team members make this family business has made this a go-to for my projects. Their lead/fabrication time, customer service and quality is unmatched. Delivery from Oliver and Alex was seriously the best experience. They took their time with bringing the furniture into our offices and set up. They polished the bookcases with a full coat of wax and gave us floor protectors for our new sofa. If you stumble across one of their ads on Craigslist--or are fortunate enough to vist their Palm Springs space, just know that dealing with Alex is a pleasure. His inventory is fun--his professionalism, top-notch. We came in looking for instant 'furniture' gratification (i.e., take it home today) and had same-day delivery a few hours later. So impressed, I've added a visit to their L.A. showrom to my bucketlist. read more

What a gem to find this home furnishing store with a mix of vintage and new interesting pieces. Easy to park and shop in this large warehouse-style space for mid Century Modern furniture and accents. Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made shopping a pleasure. This is a family run business with another outlet in Las Angeles from which inventory can easily be brought to Palm Springs location to create custom pieces. Delivery was free and a custom new mid century couch and chair arrived within 3 days of purchase, personally delivered by Alex. Looking forward to going back to see new arrivals. Great experience working with West Coast Modern LA (Luis) and West Coast Modern PS. (Alex). Purchased an original Platner dinning table in LA which Luis had Shipped to there recently opened Palm Springs store where Alex took over.We arranged a date for delivery.When we got it in place table top was not the size we thought it was when purchased,in fact larger.Alex and Luis discussed and said they would have a smaller glass top made.When smaller one arrived I had gotten accustomed to the larger one so they had me live with both tops so i could decide which one I would be happiest with.Ultimately I settled on the larger piece which felt more substantial and truly highlighted the beautiful base. I felt bad for having them cut another glass top but Alex assured me it was no problem as they wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for some great Mid Century pieces and am looking forward to returning to find me some other treasures. Thanks again, James R read more

I was so excited when I heard West Coast Modern was opening up a store in Palm Springs. I live in LA and have been going to Luis' store there for a while. I recently bought a vacation home in the desert and was starting from scratch without any furniture. I ended up furnishing half of the 4 bedroom house with furniture from Luis' store. He really knows his stuff and has a ton of designer pieces for very affordable prices. My girlfriend and I have shopped around to dozens of other vintage furniture stores and Luis' prices are the best we've seen. I've always been impressed by the care they have for their clients and the quality of the furniture, whether it's an original restored piece or his custom designed furniture. Thank you! read more

I was lucky enough to be recommended to West Coast Modern by a friend and was taken back by their personalized service. After stopping in the store they informed me they made custom pieces.
