Business office and front desk girls have no clerical skills about first and second co-pays on two insurances as far as primary and second insurances go they were trying to be paid 2 copays business office and receptionist not up to date with first and second insurance and how they pay out and are processed with first co-pay being the first copay that should apply very dissatisfied and disappointed and made me sit and wait for a long time to talk to my insurances because they would not check me in till I verified what I told them about how the insurances work because they obviously don't know and they kept taking people ahead of me that had later appointments all because they wanted extra money for a second co-pay they were not authorized to have. They were all about the money and not the patients care.They should be ashamed of theirs theirselves for what they did to me. I will never go back there again!!! That was horrible! Sarasota office - Staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Holewinski never makes you feel rushed and takes the time to discuss options and projected outcomes. I'm picky and would recommend this practice to anyone! read more

So far so good! I have on-and-off heel pain and finally made an appointment with the Sarasota office. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly, and I was taken back to the exam room within 5 minutes. Dr. Lasday had some X-rays taken, then confirmed that I had a heel spur and plantar fasciitis. He spent quite a bit of time with me, explaining the various steps of treatment. I wound up going home with a boot, exercises, and and anti-inflammatory. I already feel less pain and wish I had gone sooner! Would highly recommend! read more

Had two ingrown toenails treated by Dr. Stroud last week. He was fabulous in every way. Explained everything carefully in advance, expertly anesthetized me (I didn't feel a thing), performed procedure and carefully explained home care. Aside from his skill, he could not have been more personable. The staff was great both on the phone and in person. I would recommend him to all family and friends. read more

Dr. Stroud is one of many that my wife and I see for our physical woes. However, he ranks right near the top of personable/respected and trusted of our Doctors. He is thorough/complete and always correct in his diagnosis. He does not talk over our head and always gives us options on treatment.I honestly don't know what more I can say other than we never fear going to see him because he is top notch all the way. This practice is not handicap accessible. First there is no automatic door opener for clients in wheelchairs. Staff and doctors are unwilling to allow a client to stay in their wheelchair to do simple foot care. The legs on a wheelchair rise the same way the table does? Some people can't do transfers. Basic thoughtfulness could have solved all issues. read more

Very disappointed with my 1/20/2022 visit with Dr. Lasday. On Previous visits with Dr. Lasday he would cut and trim my toenails as a hip surgery makes it difficult to do myself. On this last visit he informed me he is training an aide and asked if I would mind her joining. I agreed thinking she was there to observe but I was surprised as she gloved and sat down to cut my nails. It immediately became obvious that she had zero training, and this was her first procedure. You could tell she was very nervous and had no idea on how to proceed. Unfortunately, we all suffered through the procedure that resulted in two sliced toes and a cut Aide's finger from mishandling the electric filing instrument. Dr Lasday expressed no remorse and offered no apology for the totally botched procedure so it is time to look for a new podiatrist. read more

I had a 9 AM appointment at the Sarasota office today, and checked in on time. and was shown to an exam room. When the assistant came in, I was told the doctor would be in shortly.I waited 35 minutes in the exam room, but no doctor showed up. No one came in to explain why there was a delay. In my experience, this is exceptionally poor patient service. I do not plan to visit this practice again. read more

Stephen D. Lasday, D.P.M. at West Coast Podiatry Center in Bradenton FL is wonderful and he removed four ingrown toenails (both sides of mt two big toes) and was able to remove the deep shark tooth looking objects quickly and first attempt each time. They were huge and much larger than anyone would know just by a visual exam. First attempt (one fell swoop) is important to reducing trauma to the nail itself. He was able to cauterize each of the four problem areas and likely my toenails will not fall off [but they would regrow if they did.] I had been suffering for a decade never understanding how deep they all really were. So gifted he was able to work around my most recent nail polish job and I was sure that was the first to go when surgery on my feet started. So, yes, four deep holes now remain by my toenails look great and probable the edges are cauterized for life. If not - well, I will be happy to see him again. The relief is wonderful and the surgery was swift - fairly painless and he did not try to upsell me anything which is also a refreshing relief the way Doctors are these days. Anyway I WILL return to him for sure. Any Doctor there is great and the Doctors assistants. The clinic is also clean and state of the art. read more

Showed up at 9:15 for my appointment at Floyd St location. Was brought back into exam room at 9:45. Nurse told me doctor would be in shortly. Doctor came in at 10:30, saw me for 5 minutes, and I was on my way. Hour and 20 visit for 5 minute consult. They do not respect patients' time read more

Dr. Lasday has been a wonderful doctor. He is one of my favorites. He treated me for a slow healing fracture that other doctors had given up on. He prescribed an innovative therapy that worked. Was a potential new patient. Via phone the staff was unhelpful and rude regarding a referral issue. When asked if they could try and resolve the issue between the referring Dr and themselves they started they would not, with an attitude. I stated perhaps I shouldn't go there and they said yeah you probably shouldn't. I am a government employee who deals with unhappy people all day everyday and I maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Due to the first impression, regardless of how good the doctor is, I will never go to this practice. read more

My 1st and only appointment was the worst Dr office clerk to me In my 70 years of going to any doctor's office. First the office clerk, made a hateful remark that I only had filled out 3 forms, and went on and on about the other 2 forms, she went on the computer and turn the computer around, instead of just giving me the 2 forms. Then the clerk went over the forms, and she got on the form about me giving them permission to tell every one about what they did to me. I filled out the form to say no I did not want them to tell anyone. I told the clerk that I want it that way 5 times, she would not get off it, so I left. I did not see any doctor, That office is 60mi. from my house, I knew that I just would not go back to them, so I just left before seeing a doctor. read more
